We went in April, the weather was nice, not too cold. Very quiet like we like, everyone we met was nice. Can't wait to go back next April had a wonderful time, we only spent the weekend but had a great time. Spray beach Inn is a great weekend getaway for peace and relaxation!!

we were in LBI for a wedding and had a great time. it was off season (barely) and we couldn't tell the difference with the service or cleanliness. I would reccomend, close to the beach and a very helpful/friendly staff

I have been a guest of the Spray Beach Inn for several years. It is located on Atlantic Avenue ad 24th Street, just steps away from the sandy beaches of Spray Beach, LBI. Family owned and maintained, the Inn boasts a lovely pool with heated hot spa and newly finished upper deck surrounded by potted palms. An outdoor patio and Tiki Bar in addition to […] a sit down 'family" restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a bar. The hotel is handicap friendly with a ramp and elevator off the lobby. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and is happy to make dinner suggestions or answer any questions you may have. Parking is plentiful. While the bathrooms have been upgraded as well as the vanity area, the rooms themselves could use just a bit of fashion savy, as the reception area in the lobby. Small things really. The main thing is the great location, the helpful staff, that there is a restaurant on the property open all day, and that it is safe. The rooms were standard. Nothing special. The rooms were cleaned in a hurry and the bedspreads were disgusting. The sheets on the one bed had what looked liked blood stains. When we went to checked in - I stood in front of the counter for several minutes with two employees on the other side of the counter ignoring us. The elevator was not working and we had to carry our bags to the thrid floor with no help from the hotel. The elevator was not repaired until the last day of our stay. The AC in the room did not work. I had […] to pack up everything and move myself to another room - which also had an AC unit that did not work, finally the third room had a working AC. good happy hour, friendly staff, room cleaning not so great since only 1 of 5 crews spoke ANY English with no do not disturb sign so..., Saturday prime rib dinner was AWESOME and during happy hour the drinks were pretty cheap, they did fix the AC when asked, 3rd floor has AC exhaust which makes sitting outside the room on the terrace not so nice.

We spent a lovely, rainy, cold March Saturday afternoon looking at the ocean from our room & watching movies. We ate dinner downstairs at the hotel restaurant, ocean front. The food & service was very good!!! Could definitely spend a week in an efficiency during the summer!!! Highly recommend!!

We had 2 rooms at this hotel - one in the main building; one in the building across the street. Both were nice. Bathrooms a little small, but not bad. The main building room was "oceanfront" but actually faced a dune, as it was on the 1st floor. I think you need to be on the 3rd floor to actually see the ocean. That was okay, though, as you could just […] walk out the room, go over a short bridge, and be on the beach. The designated "swim" area with lifeguards was only a little ways down the beach. Beach tags are included w/the hotel w/a deposit. The restaurant at the hotel was good - we only ate breakfast. Even had live music in the afternoon/early evening. The pool was small, but shallow so good for smaller kids. Only 4 feet at the deepest section. The location of this hotel is great. Close to Fantasy Island amusement park and other good shopping areas. Parking was ample. Read more

My daughter and I stayed at Spray Beach Inn during a "last vacation" together before she goes away to college. The hotel was very clean and a convenient location. We were on the first floor, but had no view of the beach. There was only one bed, so she got a cot to sleep on and her cot was more comfortable than the bed. I have never "slept" on a more […] uncomfortable bed. I actually have bruises from the springs. The room was very small and we were stepping over each other when we were in the room. The price was very high for what we got. We will explore other options the next time we go to LBI. Read more

I was disappointed upon arrival at the size of the room. The room was clean, but has a slightly musty odor. Location was great, and there was plenty of parking. I thought it was too expensive for what I got - next time I'll spend the little extra and stay in Atlantic City.

Some recommendations: Pool was not "clean" when we arrived therefore we did not go in the first day/night. However was cleaned the following day. Suggest the "dune" area around this property be cleaned up, noticed an old plant that had been removed from a pot and was lying on the beach/dune area. Lots of old wood, straw/old grass. Thought it was ironic […] that the dunes are protected however did not look it. Otherwise, enjoyed our 2 days stay. Quiet due to off season, clean room. Liked that there was a small refrigerator and coffemaker in the room. Also the safe in the closet. Would recommend to others and would return. Read more

The SBI was in the perfect location - our room location was as promised and the view was perfect! The room's bathroom area was spotless and it appears that they have been updating parts of the room. The rest of the room was very clean as well. The only thing that needed help was the A/C. When it was on it had a smell that was like stinky locker room. […] It appeared that something had been spilled into the A/C unit. The decor was very old school shore but just as expected and it was fine by us. The outside however needs some major sprucing up. The stairways have a "lip" (slanted up) on the top stair that could prove hard to negotiate. There were dirty ashtrays everywhere - weird to see these days. The pool area has a very strange coating like styrofoam beads on the deck which is chipped up and crumbling. There were tables with old food and again full dirty ashtrays and just messy. However, in a weird twist, they have a seemingly new outside shower with slate/stone tile which was very nice and clean. It is obvious that they are working on updating. We did grab some lunch in the beach front bar/cafe and it was very expensive and not very good at all. Should have believed the prior reviews. We did enjoy our stay and the location just blocks away from all the goings on in Beach Haven could not have been better. However, it would have been perfect if they paid some attention to the neatness/cleanliness of the outside areas. We would definitely stay again. Read more

Wer für einige Tage dem Trubel von New York entfliehen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Super Lage unmittelbar auf der Düne, entspannte Atmosphäre. Hotel hat schon ein paar Tage auf dem Buckel und steht am Salzwasser. Also nicht alles in Top-Zustand, aber insgesamt ok. Wenig Alternativen in dieser Gegend, aber viel und gute Gastronomie.
