Quality Inn Tracy - Tracy

Cheapest place I could find in Tracy in a bind. I was actually surprised when I got in the room. Outdated TV, but the shower was actually a very nice tiled in unit with no tub. More than enough an suitable for a quick night in business.

Lots of banging. Kids stomping and screaming. Girls outside having fights with boyfriends threatening to kill themselves. Called the front desk to inform them/call the cops. No cops showed up.

This is your standard freeway offramp hotel. The walls are thin, the beds are hard and the carpet is worn. However, they did have free wi-fi, a mini fridge and a coffee maker in room. All in all, for the price, it's not a bad place to stay.

One would think with a such as Quality that chances are good that the room would be up to a certain standard, but for the Quality Inn in Tracy, Ca. that was a far reach. The hotel in my opinion is third rate at best, no elevator to our third floor room was the first disappointment, the stair case was dirty and a sure sign that we had been had. The room […] wasn't much better, the electrical outlets weren't working and when we had asked for coffee pot because there wasn't one in the room the clerk said she had to find one, an hour later she knocked on our door, she had an old filthy coffee maker that looked like it had been salvaged from the trash dumpster, and no coffee packets and cups, no sugar or creamer packets either. I have stayed at Quality Inn before in different towns and this was a shocker. The ads state all rooms have fridges and microwaves, ours did not. And when I went to ask about it the worn out clerk was just returning from delivering one to another room! She was exhausted so much that instead of bringing us one she moved us to a handicapped room that […] had one in it! The A/C blew hot air so we had to move from that room anyways. The clock was broken and blinking random numbers. The picture on the wall was busted down the middle. The complimentary little shampoo bottle was used! Breakfast in the morning was very limited. No ice to keep the juice cold. The worst part was the cockroaches all over the staircase!! I would have moved hotels but I had prepaid when i made the reservation and it had a 4pm cancel policy. an over-nite stay while traveling only needs to be clean and cost affective. my stay was both with the exception of the night clerk as well as the morning clerk. both ladies were very helpful as well as very friendly. this is a winning choice for any traveler.

Good for the price. Pool is clean but not secure...some transients were there then disappeared down the side of the building that is open to the parking lot. Not heated. Only two towels in our room (we had reservations for four). They forgot to bring more up until we called twice. Breakfast nice but could use some fresh fruit options. Well stocked...waffles […] too! Black mold along outside of tub...just needs recaulking to be cleaner. Noisey next to freeway. Friendly service, quick check-in, fairly clean...we did find an old peach on the floor in our room. The hotel is off the freeway and the entrance is awkward especially if you miss it, which we did. The overall appearance of the hotel is decent. The room was average size, clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable. My overall experience was not a good one but, if I had to narrow it down just to the hotel room experience I would have to say it beats […] a motel 6 any day of the week but, not a Marriott. There's no ref.. no micro, no internet, no enough TV channels. I asked the employee, she just said it's OK, but no any action to change this situation. Upon arrival, was assigned an out of order room (of course they didn't tell me this until the next day). No telephone, tv didn't work, AC didn't work. So hot in the room, we couldn't sleep. Only 2 towels provided for 4 people. Can't get into the parking lot without making uturns. Very dissapointing.
