While the hotel itself is set in a very nice area with lots of evening sounds, like frogs and insects, I found the manager to be a bit brusque, for example expressing disapproval when we turned down his invitation for their New Year's Eve gala (at $75 per person). Also, the room we were assigned was below the dining area, so the noise from the wooden […] chairs scraping the floor above was a little unnerving. To be fair, the staff did allow us to change rooms when we complained. The breakfast buffet was mediocre, but was actually to be expected considering the cost of the stay and the season. Other than these drawbacks, things were good. There was a shuttle van that brought us to the center of town whenever we wanted it. In addition, the scenery from the hotel was very nice with lots of greenery and the air smelled very fresh. The rooms and the hotel were pretty clean, and I don't recall seeing any uncomely insects. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff was really friendly and it was obvious that they wanted us to have a lovely stay. Thanks to everyone again! The hotel is not in Ubud centre, it is located 10-15 minutes from Ubud but we regarded that as a real advantage. There is a free pick up and drop off service (until 10.30pm), you […] only have to call the reception. We never waited more than 15 minutes in the city. The drivers were also very friendly. The hotel was surrounded by rice fields but unfortunately not all the rice fiels were green as it was the harvest time. The two swimming pools were very nice and the garden was perfectly maintained. There were lots of beautiful flowers and butterflies. However the buildings are a bit old and would need a good clean/painting. Our room was great (I think we were upgraded in a deluxe room...), the bed was huge and comfortable. But the cupboards were not really clean so if you are after a spotless room it can be disappointing. We didn't really mind because there were lots of kind thoughts (nice flowers on the bed every morning). Breakfast menu was good and even if there is less variety than a buffet breakfast, you won't be disappointed (the pancakes were delicious). Be just careful with the tours offered by the hotel as you have to pay extra costs for the activities (temples, dance) and it's not really clear on the flyer. The hotel is in the middle of a rice paddy. Hint for ease of arrival email hotel and ask them to send a driver to meet you at the airport. We loved the peace and tranquility of the hotel as it was a good 15 minute drive from the hotel to Ubud. A car would take you into Ubud at no extra charge whenever you needed one. Having said that the staff could not have been more courteous and helpful, within the limits sometimes of language. It was a delight to stay. The food was fine, ŵe only had dinner once in the hotel and breakfast is as anywhere else I should imagine heavy on eggs and if you want the muesli you will have to ask for milk and possibly a spoon. The little bumpy road to this hotel made me nervous of my decision to book this hotel. Minutes after I was there, I was fully relieved and convinced it was indeed a thumbs up decision. Anyway, the service was good. The hotel provides free transport to Ubud city, so no issues on that. And for the adventurous ones like me, you can rent a motorbike from them, at an affordable 50k Rupiah / per day. Another unique thing is the made to order breakfast, the pancakes are a must. A nice hotel for some relaxing days, a bit out of the way but with the hotels taxi-service it is easy to reach central Ubud. Remember to arrange for transports in time. Even though the airport is only approx 40km away it took more than 2 hours!

ウブド中心部まで送迎してくれるのは、とても便利でした。帰りも、食事をしているレストランの人にホテルの電話してもらい、無事にピックアップしてもらいました。 また、チェックアウト後にクタまで送ってもらったのですが、来た時の55％くらいの料金でした。良心的。 朝食は複数の中から選べます。ナシゴレンのコスパが高いと思います。
