"AWWW THOSE CABO NIGHTS"
We arrived at The Cabo Inn not knowing what to expect, we were a little nervous because we had never stayed anywhere but our resort before. It did not disappoint, I mean it is what it is a quaint little joint in the heart of Cabo, we took full advantage of the rooftop pool and lounge area and it didn't take long for the other guests to join in to our […] dance and laughter. I give Cabo Inn a high five, we certainly were not expecting the Hilton but what we got was an amazing expierence at an awesome beautiful little joint. LOVED IT!!! "A little bit of Mexican warmth in a sea of resorts"
I like Mexico and Mexicans - and Cabo Inn es muy de famillia (is very family-like). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel was 2 blocks from everywhere, it was clean and safe.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice location for being close, but not in the action. Lovely setting.Genuine Expedia guest review
"The lovely Cabo Inn"
This is a unique little hotel. Probably not for everyone but if you're searching for quaintness, central location, affordable and lots of personal touches, you are looking for the Cabo Inn. We had the Palapa 2 room which is gorgeous. It has a big patio with a hot tub and lots of greenery. It's a large Palapa room well hidden yet wide open to the world. […] There is a comfortable library and a small pool to cool down in. It's surrounded by a lot of great restaurants and only a couple of blocks from the marina. We spent 7 nights and I would go back there in a heartbeat...just bring your ear plugs! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"inexpensive and close to Marina"
The Cabo Inn Hotel is very basic. it meets your needs but has limited comforts. the hotel is safe and well located, very close to bus stops and Marina and shopping. Bathroom is tiny. room 12 is quite noisy. check out the Polle de Oro down the street. inexpensive and excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Real Gem"
What a find. This small family owned hotel in Los Cabos is only a short walk from the beach, restaurants, shopping. Amazing oasis. Too bad Los Cabos is just one continuous high pressure sell zone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean, Safe, Friendly"
My Mom and I were up to a bit of an adventure away from the 5 star, all inclusive easy holiday. The Cabo Inn provided an awesome spot to experience a taste of old Mexico with daily walks to surrounding restaurants and markets. We enjoyed the friendly staff, clean facilities including the library and swimming pool. We both started out in separate, regular […] rooms and then my mom upgraded to the rooftop bungalow. It was a delight for her. She felt like a Queen and has taken home some beautiful photos of her whimsical surroundings. The Cabo Inns' boast is not centered around brand new. It does not claim perfect condition. I have some friends who would only feel comfortable in 4 or 5 star hotels and I would never suggest they stay at the Cabo Inn. On the other hand, if you look for beauty in the colors and textures of Mexico you will find it here. We would go again in a heartbeat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Cabo Inn Hotel"
It was an inexpensive hotel, so I wasn't expecting a lot. I was really impressed though with the staff, they were very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent 10-15 min walk to beach, malls, marina. Great location. Lots of great character in layout and appearance of building, unique ambience, artful decor. Very economical choice. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Got great tips from owner on unique sights and even where to find economical groceries nearby. Bring ear plugs as neighborhood […] traffic can be noisy at night if you are a light sleeper. Very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Really appreciated the experience and would definitely come again!! It was a very good price for the location! And the staff were friendly too. If you're looking for value accommodation right in downtown Cabo, without the associated noise, this is the place.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Week In Cabo"
09/20/14 Danny H Travelers Rest, South Carolina
Took my oldest son fishing for a graduation gift to Cabo for over a week. Cabo Inn was great, I'd rather stay at a Local Motel than Americanized Resort. Inn was clean, comfortable, met all our needs, staff was great. Victor arranged shuttle from the airport to the Cabo Inn, best way to get there, then they arranged taxi (they don't have shuttle arranged) back to the airport - both ways were great and less than 45 minutes. Easy walk to shopping, and the marina, maybe 2 to 3 minutes. They're plenty of local restaurants which the staff will tell you about, all great recommendations and extremely reasonable, even restaurants at the marina were still very reasonably priced. Cabo Inn has to be the best kept secret in Cabo San Lucas.
"value for money"

It was the least expensive hotel I could find around the cabo city center as I was travelling solo. The queen bed was comfortable. There were a few mosquitos in the room, that bothered me just a bit but I am used to them back home, so was okay with it. Anyone who has serious allergies to mosquito bites, I would not recommend. But other than that it's good value for money in terms location, air conditioning, being close to restaurants, night life and the pier/dock.

This place is a fabulous little hideaway right in downtown Cabo San Lucas, away from the hustle and bustle of CABO, but still super close to multiple restaurants, the beaches, and shopping. The Inn's hosts are really friendly and there is a rooftop pool and palapa that are great for relaxing. You can use the kitchen to cook your own food or wander up and down the streets for a bite in one of the local eateries. I recommend this place for those who want a low-key experience and like to meet other travelers.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Inn for 5 days. We were going for a more authentic type of stay rather than the bells and whistles resorts. Getting here took a few turning on one way streets but it's easy after a few times. The Inn is easy to spot since it's so colorful. Each room has a different theme. We got room 15 first, which was the Dr. Patch Adams room. Even though the connection to the real Patch Adams is cool, I could not stand to have a clown painting above my head while I sleep. We were switched to the Picasso room which was nicer and had a firm bed with a refrigerator. Unfortunately for us, hurricane marie hit Cabo San lucas on our second night. The sewer smells came through the room and I couldn't sleep at all. Thankfully the manager moved us up to room 19. I like this room the most. It had a softer bed with prettier sheets and the sunlight came in through the frosted Windows. Maid service was excellent. They even folded my clothes that were on the bed. Towels were quite outdated, as one ripped as I tried to dry myself. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.
"Awful dump, don't bother"
08/27/14 Phil113442 Denver, Colorado
Welp, needless to say, this place was pretty awful and pathetic. I was treated like a suspect of a felony and not as a guest. Huge gaping hole under the door of my room, disgusting mini-fridge that made a racket and smelled of feces, with work and commotion at all hours of the day and night (bust stop of unsavory types coming and going) left me upset and tired. I had planned on staying 5 days, but left after two. Awoke to banging of repairs, was given an ultimatum and a look of disgust when asking about a resolution. I have stayed and worked in some of the nicest and least expensive hotels for business and pleasure, and yet, this is the first time I was absolutely and resolutely unsatisfied. Stay somewhere else.
"A disappointing experience"
08/12/14 Bella_Hart San Diego, California
The Cabo Inn is well situated, which is the most positive thing that I can say about it. It had it's charm 20 years ago and has been poorly maintained over the years. Our 1st room was minuscule, no windows, more like a monk's cell. The 2nd room shared a wall with the pizza/sushi restaurant next door and blasted music until the late hours of the night. 1st room had a non-working fridge; 2nd room had no fridge; fridge in common area was very smelly. We were woken up every morning by loud music blaring from delivery trucks and never did get a good night's sleep. I don't like being negative but this was very disappointing.
"Cute place, with old school charm. Just needs a little more..."
08/09/14 KayClifton San Diego, California
We booked Cabo Inn at the end of weeklong stay in Los Cerritos. We really just wanted a no frills place in the center that had a little old-school character. We got that for sure! You can tell Cabo Inn is an original centro place for lodging. It's tucked away off of a grid of busy streets. Getting to the main door/entrance might take a few times driving around the one-way only grid. Despite all the laps you might do trying to find the place, it's kind of nice when you want to take off and go somewhere = you just crawl off the sleepy street and zoom! you're off. Parking is street-only and although there are some reserved spots, you'll be fighting for open curb during certain times of the day. Refer back to the one-way grid pattern: you might have to take some laps to find an open space and then walk over. Small front door entrance opens to a classic courtyard. Reception service was standard. I wouldn't say our greeter was especially enthusiastic. The common space is in the outdoor courtyard: a few small tables and chairs, a TV, and a little strip of a kitchen with silverware, etc. Rooms are fine, but bathroom area was a little tight and took some maneuvering. There wasn't any ventilation, so the shower curtain had seen better days. It was really warm out during our stay so the AC was blasting and a welcome relief (although it smelled moldy). Kind of a bummer when the power went out during the day for a solid stretch of time = no AC, no World Cup. They got the power back up, but the wi-fi was out the rest of the stay. Again, reception person was kind of grumpy about it all when we asked if he had heard any updates on when the wi-fi might be back.. a full day later. I guess there's a "pool" up top, but boyfriend said it was more like a hot tub and the water wasn't looking to clean. Overall, a decent place to hang your hat and put your head to pillow, but I wouldn't expect too much more. A good mix of international travelers was refreshing. It just seems a little bit of oomph here and there can make Cabo Inn really shine

I spent 14 days at that hotel. I was there for diving. Probably the cheapest hotel you can find in town. Just few steps from the marina, the beautiful "Puerto Paraiso" mall, fishing boats and 15 minutes walk from the dive centers. Very well located. I have nothing to say against the staff but the rooms and the amenities need some updates. My room had a small rusty fridge and I couldn't set the AC's temperature because the controller was broken. The room was set with towels and bed sheets having holes in. On the web site it says "free access to great amenities such as free wireless internet, drinking water, a rooftop social pool, coffee, a fish freezer, a full kitchen set-up, our universal gym set, library with reading area, and so much more"... Personally, I haven't seen many of them: Yes there is a pool as large as a Jacuzzi and the kitchen has what you need for cooking including a small double burner but there is neither gym nor fitness gear. About the WiFi in the room... In fact, you never know when you will get it. AT LEAST once a day, the WiFi is down otherwise it's very slow... Absolutely not reliable.
"Real value in Cabo"
Great location, nice staff, surprisingly comfortable and clean room, and good value. I had friends staying at an upscale hotel. I hung out during the day there, and slept in my in town room at night. Great food next door and nearby!
"Great little spot, great value"

Wonderful small hotel. It's not fancy, but extremely clean and comfortable. Located a couple of blocks from the main 'strip', and close to many authentic Mexican restaurants. Would definitely return in the future.
