Fine if you have a car
This is cheap accommodation, so it is pretty no frills. That said, the breakfast is decent (actual croissants, fruit, cereal, not just jam and toast). There are some amenities like a game room and if you are there for an extended stay with business at the university the location is good. If you have your own car, it's also fine due to free parking and it's not too long a drive into town. If you don't have a car, however, the low cost will soon be compromised by cab fares as the free shuttle is infrequent. For example, when you check out, breakfast and checkout time are long past when they start weekday shuttle service so you would have to hang around the lobby for hours waiting for a shuttle. No shuttle after 7 pm so you're on your own to get back from a night in the city. Meanwhile, there are B&Bs for 50 euro right in the heart of the city, so if that's where you want to be and you're without car you are better off with that. Also, when catching the shuttle in town, it is very difficult to understand where to wait for it and staff didn't explain it very well although otherwise staff are very nice and helpful.

Excellent4.0 / 5
The building (room and bathroom too) is a bit old, and looks not clean. But I think it's just an impression. Otherwise the place is quiet and Galway is a nice city. Staff member are very kind. I think it's a little bit more expensive than most student's villages I did, and with more services. Breakfast is good and big enough. As conclusion, was ok.

The room was basic enough. The pillows were flat and as the bed was against the wall with shelves above sitting up quickly was a health hazard as you could and I did hit my head off them a few times!!!. Upon arrival we had seen there was wifi but had to ring for the access code at reception. The first morning was a cold shower however after reporting it to reception and coming back in the evening it was sorted and I enjoyed a warm, hot shower after the day. I was impressed with fresh towels each day and the staff were very friendly. It is student accommodation and in that sense it lived up to its name, clean and basic.

One night stay
Good accomodation for a quick trip i.e. One night. Basic but adequate rooms. Booked on a room only basis but all had ensuite, group of 8 but split into 4 different apts. It was a pity u had to be staying 2 nights plus to be able to book whole apts as this would have served us better. However we spent very little time in the actual complex as we were up in Galway to celebrate my 30th birthday so as soon as we were ready it was into town. Location is great for this as it is only 10 mins from eyre square. Price was reasonable compared to other alternatives for this time of year (worked out half the price of a hotel/b&b) but as I would consider it merely a step up from a hostel it was comparably twice the price of such but much more private and clean.
