The surrounding area was a bit rough but I was there for 2 weeks and had no problems at all. The free breakfast was alright, mostly pastries and cereal. Let's start by saying this was worst hotel experience I have every encountered. We arrived at the hotel that was located in a sketchy area at 11pm. We were checked in and was then told that our rooms were located in another building across the street. (not good) We expressed to the front desk that we didnt feel safe being seperated from each other and […] the security in the main building. We were told that because of the time of travel, they couldnt accommadate. We all decided to room together and ride out the displeasure of the stay. On the second night of our stay we were settling down and a rodent (rat) came out to visit us. We immediately call for assistance to move out of the room. The security guard was sent over to assst us but that didnt happen. He told us that MAYBE its gone and we should go to bed. Since we had the other room that was paid for available we decided to move there until we find another hotel. The security guard seem so unconcerned and uncompassionate. The level of customer service recieved was the worst I've ever recieved. Read more

The bed was uncomfortable and the floor needed a good vacuuming, but at least the bathroom was nice and clean. Staff was quite friendly. About a 10 minute cab ride to Tottenham Hale station to catch the train to Stansted airport. Not too bad a deal, if you need to be at the airport early a.m.

Hotel is well upkept and has an attractive appearance but this ethnic neighborhood has an older run-down inner city style atmosphere (e.g. used tyre store across the street with stacks of old tyres out front). Initially this neighborhood felt unsafe and intimidating, but we later came to realize it wasn't nearly as bad as we thought. The area is not near any tourist sites but has a lot of conveniences nearby (groceries, fruit markets, laundry, and a lot of ethnic restaurants. About an 18 minute walk to the Underground (Walthamstow station). Free Internet works good. Free breakfast is very light, but okay. Bathroom had a mildew smell, not sure from what because it appeared to be clean. If you want a true cultural immersion, the London Leyton All Seasons is the hotel for you. Sandwiched between a KFC, used Tyre shop, and a convenient store, the hotel is certainly far from the glitz, glamor, and touristy vibe of London. It's also just far from London in general. The tube station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel (which seems […] quite longer when you're lugging a suitcase and other luggage along with you) and the Victoria station is at least a 40 minute tube ride from the station closest to the hotel (Walthamstow). The hotel itself isn't terrible for such a low price, I suppose. The staff was pleasant, but the rooms weren't the cleanest--more mysterious stains than usual. The hotel is also pretty stuffy and has no A/C. This forced us to leave the window open, letting in lots of bugs and the sound of sirens and people screaming throughout the night. Though it was cheap, I wouldn't recommend it. The sketchy neighborhood is enough of a reason to stay away. Any low-rate hotel that needs a night security guard is probably one to avoid. I would do some research on the neighborhood before considering it. I wish we had. Read more

Great location for this hotel as our daughter lives nearby. First room we were given smelled of damp and had damp patches on the wall in the bathroom. Mentioned to reception and they changed it straight away with no problem. Breakfast in the morning fine, bit of a free for all as so busy and they took a long time to replace the mugs, having said that […] the staff were working very hard to copy with the numbers having breakfast. very clean rooms have stayed here a few times in different rooms all good. the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. the hotel has bus stops nearby to go all over london. the only downside is how the breakfast (which is good in itself) is cleared quickly and by half 9 there is not much left. but overall the best reasonable hotel around.

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I am not a fussy person! The room which we stayed in was on the other side of the road and we had to transport our luggage there with no assistance. Once we got there the lift did not work and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. The room was a good size however very dated. It reminded me of Uni […] accommodation but worst! The carpet had not been hoovered properly, the bed covers were really thin, the bath was extremely small with a leaking shower and a crack in the bath. All the corners of the floor had dirt in them I did not even want to shower but had no choice and worst of all, my partner lifted up the toilet seat to find blood there!!!! I was soooo angry I wanted to leave immediately. The towels were so small and looked like they were for the floor. We actually wanted to go home but as we had already paid we had no choice! The room was ice cold and when we called reception to find out how to operate the heater they said that we had to come to the reception and collect the remote and had to give a £10 deposit. The guy at reception should have told us that initially! We asked if they could drop it to us and said we had to collect it ourselves, so my partner had to go out in the cold again to pay for the remote he also had to carry the ironing board and iron as well as no one would bring it to us! This was by far the worst hotel ever and I suggest you stay elsewhere! I wouldn't stay here for free!!! Read more

The stay was nice and convenient. Breakfast was satisfactory and good for the price paid. First room given had slanted ceiling and we couldn't even stand up properly. After speaking to the hotel manager, he cahnged our room immediately and were given a nice spacious room. Good basic hotel with the advantage of parking and a breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Clean and tidy, friendly staff. This was a reasonable basic hotel for business travel. The staff were very helpful and everything was clean and tidy. the rooms are a little small and basic, but so was the price.

The staff were very nice. Breakfast was good even though there was only half a toaster that worked for all the guests. But original room was very small with bed in the corner next to a window with mold around it. Got to change rooms with little hassle (think Staff half expected us to ask to move) Condition of second room better but still marks on walls […] and bathroom clearly had a problem with moisture/mold therefore it smelled bad too. Imagine would be fine for back packers on a small budget for a night or 2. But not for a nice weekend away. I would advise you to spend a bit more and find a better hotel. Read more

Hotel is nice and clean. The staff is nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel is a bit far from the center of London (1 hour in total - walk + Tube), but is warm and quiet. Only thing missing in the room is fridge, but I didn't miss it that much. However the 24/7 shop is just across the street if you need anything. We booked this hotel in advance and got a good rate. It's a nice hotel, the reception staff very helpful, the room was clean and spacious with full access to freeview TV, a good sized bathroom too. About a 10 min walk to the nearest underground station, Leyton midland road, but not the nicest area to walk through, especially late at night.
