First time stay and had a good experience. The hotel's second floor was closed for renovations, and we had to walk by some rooms being renovated on the 1st floor to get to the elevator, which had a strong smell from paint/new carpet. It was off-season however, and they have to renovate sometime. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean, quiet, and did not smell. I really liked that the duvet covers are washed between each guest! Breakfast had some nice selections for a hotel breakfast. Overall, very satisfied.

Nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Very good food in restaurant, although lacking in ambiance. Convenient for mall or airport. Noisy corridor at night (right near elevator). Personable staff.

"Location, location, location..."
The Chetwynd House Inn was a good place for us. We were getting away from home for a couple days with a drive up the scenic coast for our 45th wedding anniversary. The Inn is older, but welcoming and very convenient to Dock Square, giving us a place to park our car within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The Innkeeper/owner, Bob, took a lot […] of pride in his inn. He was available, if needed, friendly, and informative. He served a one-seating breakfast at 9AM which he cooked himself. "chetwynd hotel Kennebunkport - close to everything"
very comfortable setting in the heart of Kennebunkport. Liked the idea that we could leave our vehicle behind and walk to all attractions. Breakfast was tastey and filled us for the day. If you like to be in the heart of things, this is the location for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
