Great hotel for value for money. Very clean. Difficult to get to if on public transport. Best option is to get the train from Heuston station to Park West ,then a 5 minute walk to hotel, or the 79A bus from Dublin city centre which passes Heuston station to Park west.

When I first booked this hotel I assumed it would be like the rest of the Days Inn properties in the US. This hotel is leaps and bounds above their American counter parts. Rooms are huge compared to most european hotels. Location is a bit confusing, but take in to account I am an American driving in a new country. Hotel bar had good food too. Great place to stay if you want to see Dublin but not be in the city centre.

The hotel was lovely. The staff were excellent and were happy to help with any info about dublin. The bar was lovely and cosy and a great place to have a pint after a hard day sightseeing. It is bit far outside the city but the buses run every half hour from right outside the door. It costs 1 euro 80 to get into the city. Lovey cheap hotel.

My only problem was the location info which did not appear to be within 8 km of the airport, but was more like 28. It was in the middle of nowhere and you were SOL if you want to eat or go elsewhere outside. There is a commuter train track with possible station, of some sort, about 100 m (100 yd) away. The ride over was about 40 minutes at €1 (euro) a minute. The cabbie was a typical affable Irishman, warm hearted and hospitable, with the gift of gab. However, the hotels.com site needs improvement on location info, and comparison with another Days Hotel closer to the airport. Shjould include estimated cab fare.

service was extremely friendly as well as the comfortability of the room...surely a business suite! However the location was a little bit inconvenient if you were to be traveling to the inner city. If you were to take a taxi from the hotel to the inner city expect to pay around 18 euros! There is a bus located right outside the hotel but it stops running at night...but even with all of this it came out to be less expensive than getting a room in the inner city...hag a great St. Patrick's Day...Thanks Days Hotel and Dublin!

I stayed here on a Friday night as I have college in Trinity on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. The hotels in the city centre are too expensive for my purposes. ie somewhere clean and safe to sleep. The price reflects the location, in the middle of a business park. Not recommended unless you have a car, or you're looking for a 'romantic' break. Otherwise 10/10 for functionality!!!

The hotel was great for the price. The service at the restaurant wasn't the best for the prices they charged. The free shuttle to the city centre was convenient. If you want to arrive to the hotel the cheapest way and fastest way is to go on a Bus to Heuston Station and then take the rail/train to Cherry Ochard and Park West Station that is next to the hotel or you can take a bus to Aston Quay and take Dublin Bus 79A (stops in front of the hotel). Please don't take Flybus, you will have to pay for a Taxi afterwards (It's not worth it for what you are paying).

The hotel was difficult to find, even with their instructions and 3 maps. The handle on the front door of the hotel was broken off and taped on with packing tape. For the 8 hours we were there, it served it's purpose. Breakfast however was a big disappointment as well. For 9 euros, their "Full Irish Breakfast" had a lot to be desired. Overall, it was OK for the price we paid.

Very good value for the money, but only one down side - it is not anywhere near the center of Dublin. It is on the outskits of town (but in a very nice area within a brand new office park). You need to take the number 78A bus to and from the Center of Dublin, and you are the very last stop on the route. But other than the distance, the hotel itself was wonderful (even the hotel resturant). And if you are going to check out the Guinness Experience, don't bother paying the admission fee. No one checks. You basically pay 14.50 euros for a pint of Guinness. So Save your money, walk around, head to the top floor and just buy a Guinness from the bar. It's cheaper.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and can help you with just about anything. If you plan to go to Dublin City Center its far, you can get a bus for under 2 euro but they take a long time to get into the city and run infrequently late at night. We took a taxi into the city and back to the hotel, it ranged from 15-20 euro each way. Also if you are choosing this hotel to get near the airport this isn't it. You have to go into the city center and then to the airport area and it takes a long time. Overall I would stay there again if I had no plans to go into the city center or was coming back at a reasonable hour, for the money I paid on hotels.com it was still much cheaper with the taxi fare included than staying in Dublin City Center.

Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert!
