When my wife and I walked in the lobby of the hotel our expectations couldn't have been exceeded, but sadly that was the best thing about the hotel. The front desk clerk was very rude to my wife when she asked for an extra towl. Our room looked like it had a blood stain on the bedside table so we called down to ask if they could have someone clean it […] and they told us that the room was just cleaned upon our arrival and there deffinately wasn't anything to clean up. Then we decided to leave early because of weather and then we found out that we spend $200 for one night of a regrettable stay. Long story short we learned our lesson. Read more

This was a well appointed hotel with a very affordable price tag! Our room was large (King room) , clean and comfortable. We attended an event in Anoka and the hotel is minutes away. My only irritation was the room heater which cycles on and off all night; sometimes every 10 minutes. We did requested a crib and when i asked about it the receptionist said that there wasn't any note in their screen. I would have not minded if he wouldn't have been rude especially with other guests around. So I asked if there were a crib available and he said "NO" so, as frustrated as I was I told him that I would print my confirmation e mail to show […] the request because we couldn't sleep with a baby in the middle (if they didn't had a crib they shouldn't offer it when making a reservation) he didn't care. I was ready for a serious complain and there he was coming out of the elevator with a crib saying that he HAD to go look for the crib (as if doing a favor) and that they charge for the crib but they might not do it this time. After that, the garbage left in the waste baskets wasn't important any more. At the end we got the crib but this person lacks of any basic customer service skills ! Read more

The hotel was convenient. The room size was good. The food quality at breakfast was below average. The coffee quality/taste at breakfast was below average. There is a Denny's across the street and down a block and so these "food" issues were not a big deal. But it would have been better if they served half-way decent coffee at the hotel. My only issue with the hotel is that I was never sure what time it was. Our room clock had never been turned back and then on check out day our keys were deactivated at 10am instead of 11am. I'm guessing that was also a clock issue. It took two tries to get the cards reactivated but we were finally able to get our stuff out!

covered all the basics well. So much so, we stayed a second time on our return trip. Bed in one of the rooms was extra, extra firm--much more so than in the other. Evening staff very helpful. Morning staff got a bit distracted and failed to replenish coffee during breakfast. Several restaurants nearby and a grocery store immediately next door.

We stayed 9 days during the Game Fair and could not have been any more disappointed in service at continental breakfast....no juice no milk, no knives, no coffee cream...very poor.
