The room was covered with a thin oily film that was hard to wash off. The carpets seemed very filthy because of this thin film. The staff was there to do their duty..but there was no desire to extend themselves to provide an excellent customer service experience. Fresh linens and clean bathrooms. Room, Staff & service needs improvement.

The cost for one night was a little steep for the accomodations that I got. My phone did not work in the room, the air would not turn on and the desk clerk stated that she did not know how to flip the breaker to get it to work so I was forced to 'crack' the window. As I was trying to cool off I felt something on me and it was a bug in the bed with me. I was so overwhelmed at this point I turned in my key and left.

"Great stay"

Great place to stay if you are on your way to Florida. We stopped here for an overnight stay because of it's location right off I-65. Clean and comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool after being on the road for 7 hours. Good breakfast. Will stay here again.

The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The carpet is a little worn, but overall the hotel was a very comfortable stay.

"Great, clean hotel for the money"

The hotel was a great stay for the price. Conveniently located. The comfort of the beds was way higher than I expected for a hotel in the price range. Friendly staff. Had family emergency requiring me to leave before complete stay was spent. The staff let me apply my pre-paid night to the next week after the family emergency was settled. Will stay again for sure.

I was satisfied with Microtel Inn. I was very surprised to see all the stores and restaraunts nearby. I would go there again. I went to go to the Talledega race and I was happy with everything.

The rooms were huge. They also had bay windows with a cushioned seat built in. The hotel was right next to WalMart, shopping,food and gas. The area was new and very safe. I would definately stay here instead of Birmingham which was a very dirty, industrial city.

Very nice hotel. Covenient to downtown and it is locate right off of I-65. A lot of eating places in that location. Will stay again.
