Very nice hotel. Courteous and helpful staff. Located right at base of mountain for skiing. So much fun dog sledding, which was in walking distance of hotel. Got to see the dog kennels afterward and hold a Husky puppy. Easy half hour drive to Quebec to see the old quarter and one hour drive to Valcartier for snow tubing. For our second stay at Chateau Mt St Anne: Quite disappointed. The queens room is really too small to enjoy a week long with 4 people. The Nordic room was much more comfortable but less well equipped if you look for a kitchenette. :( But the worse is the Internet WIFI connexion... We were very happy with the hotel / ski resort . It is 30 min form Quebec city, so some driving is involved in going to Quebec CIty, but the advantage is also that St Annes Canyons, famous Basilica and Montmorency waterfalls are very close to the hotel. So you save time either way. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing location!!! Beautiful views and a very helpful staff. Chateau is undergoing a major renovation with their new Espace Nordik roomos/condos, however even the older rooms were still pleasant. The kitchenettes were a nice touch as well.

They show a wonderful room in the photos you see by internet, and when you arrive, then realize the room and the hotel has nothing to do with the photos: its old, and dirty.... and then they offer you a best room like in the fotos they show you before, BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY MUCH MORE. The hotel is in nice quiet area great for relaxation, lots of nature activities in the area. The hotel needs some updates, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the closet door was broken. Great resort. Our "promo" room priced at much less than the "Nordic" room the hotel recommends was well worth the money. It was older, but large and clean with a balcony, AC and kitchenette. The surrounding area is beautiful with restaurants and other services a short drive away. It was further from Quebec City than we expected though and did add a […] significant amount of travel time to our trip. Our room had 2 comfortable queen size beds (we didn't know what to expect as we booked the promo room online and the description only stated "bed") which were sparkly clean when we pulled back the sheets and checked for telltale signs of bedbugs. Clean comfortable and safe hotel, but no breakfast included at the promo rate. There is a small "cabin" shaped restaurant in town that serves only breakfast. The food there is good and inexpensive. This is more of a ski resort hotel. There is not much around and it is quiet. It takes about 40 minutes to get to/from Quebec downtown. You need a car and there are not that many options to eat around. The hotel restaurant is fine.

Our Garmin GPS brought us to within half a mile of this nicely appointed hotel. When I inquired at the destination to which the GPS directed us, the response was, "Oh, the GPS always brings people here. Go further up the road, and you'll find them on the left." We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It was convenient that we were able to ski-in-ski-out. The only negative comment I have is that the hotel needs remodelling of the common areas as well as the rooms on the lower floors. We stayed for 7 days at hotel during December. Have chosen renovated rooms which are very nice, except lacking on storage space. Our friends stayed in old rooms, and they were not so nice. Try to avoid those. In general services are good, except front desk which sometimes makes a bit of mess with requests, issues wrong ski pass, don't have enough luggage […] carts which is important for ski trips especially since ski locker is on second floor. the pictures of the rooms on the web looked great, the rooms were new and very modern, i reserved 3 rooms for my group and when we arrived to the hotel we got 3 rooms in the old section of the hotel that was 2 minutes walk from the elevator and the rooms even though large ...... it was old, the carpet was really looking dirty and the A/C wouldn't reach […] to the upstairs loft where the king size bed was, it was really hot up there. the kitchen was clean and well equipped. the bathroom was clean. the king size bed was very comfortable. but as I said............ for the same money that we paid we would've loved to get the new and modern rooms .The best part of this hotel was the location. 5 minutes away is where st. Anne canyon falls are located and it was wonderful to go and spend few hours there, A must see. also, for breakfast we had to pay 15 dollars per person to have buffet breakfast. we really enjoyed the breakfast. We were only there over night, so had little time to explore and enjoy. However, loved the modern room decor, and the restaurant was absolutely excellent. One might question the video screens in the restaurant, however it made catching up on the Olympics easy!

We stayed in one of the newly renovated Nordic Rooms The room was exceptionally clean and very roomy. There was a fridge, microwave , sink , dishes , coffee pot and toaster in the room for easy meal preparation The outdoor pool was great! Saint Anne Shrine was only a short drive away. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was nice large king bed and mini kitchen, pools were nice. Dinner in bistro was nice both nights. BUT..... bell man stood by his station not helping with our or another families bags, girl at check-in seemed put out by having to check us in.
