"Pretty good."

It was a very nice room. Big tub for the two of us in the bathroom. However, the noise above us was pretty loud. I don't know if it was a kid running around or they were doing construction. It was pretty loud in the morning. Took them forever to bring us extra pillows, but they did bring them. Pizza in the cafe at the casino downstairs was HORRIBLE!!!! But that's not the hotels fault, I guess.

Check-in was quick and efficient. When I booked on-line, all they had was a room with 2 queen beds. My husband and I prefer king beds, so when we were checking in, I asked if they had a room with a king bed. There was and it FAR exceeded our expectations, especially for the price point! 3 TV's; one in the bedroom, one in the sitting area and the third on the long vanity bench in the bath room. The room even featured a jaquzzi tub next to the bed. GREAT deal! Very clean. I was dissappointed we were only up for a quick one night retreat. Would have loved to spend a long weekend in that atmosphere! Only improvement I would suggest would be more variety and options for restaurants. But a minor issue as there are other restaurants in near by casino's.

The thing that impressed me most about the Isle - Isle Tower was the convenient hours and variety of food in the buffet style cafeteria. The prices were very reasonable, comparable to those at most similarly styled restaurants in Aurora and Denver. Another thing I loved was the bathtub equiped with jet sprays. A very relaxing experience! The televisions staged in various locations throughout the suite was also a nice touch.

My bed sagged in the middle so bad that I had to climb into the corner to sleep (kind of sleep). The staff were nice, the place was clean, the bed was HORRIBLE. When I said something upon checking out the front desk clerk said that they were changing the beds out slowly (and to ask for the 5th floor when making a reservation as they have been changed)... I can't imagine how a bed could get that bad in just a few yrs.. you could look at it and see the sag in the middle.

The bed sagged in the middle so badly I could barely sleep. When I checked out I was informed that they are changing out all of the beds, but I have to wonder how did they leave a bed in the room that was that bad in the first place.. it appears they are changing out the rooms about 10 yrs later than they should have. Everything else was fine, but sleeping in a very important part of a hotel stay and I didn't get much.

Well this is casino also... on the casino floor it is very difficult to get a free drink. When you do order a drink expect the drink to show up 20-30 minutes later! And I was playing table games! My wife only got about 2 drinks while playing slots. Hated the bathroom doors. They were like saloon doors but they went from top to bottom. They were very wide so that's good if you are in a wheel chair. Just didn't care for them otherwise. Really impressed with the lunch buffet, had interesting stuff, not your lame basic buffet. For example they offered blacked tilapi fish, bbq salmon, cabbage rolls. Just refreshing to see things you wouldn't expect.

Our room had two queen beds - both felt like they were 20 years old. I'd swear the pillows were filled with tennis balls. To top things off, the room smelled like smoke (even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room). Interestingly, the smoke smell seemed to be coming in through the ventilation. Turning the fan off seemed to help some but not much. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep.

Reviewed by Kimberly of Baldwin City on Aug 25, 2008
This hotel had the worst service I have experienced in a hotel. The walls were so thin you could hear everything, the window was broken and wouldn't open, there is no pool, jacuzzi, not even a continental breakfast! The alarm clock was also broken so that when it was 7:30 am it looked like it was 1:30 PM so we woke up thinking we overslept and missed check-out!! Not the way you want to wake up on a vacation. When trying to tell the front desk about this and other issues, I was dismissed by being cut off mid-sentence with "okay, okay, yes, yes" when he never even gave me time to say what the issues were. He then lied to me telling me the reason only one elevator was working was because of check out, even though I was the only person even reomtely in the check out area checking out. Very rude people at this hotel and casino. We will never stay there again or recommend to anyone. A huge rip off for the price too.

We had been out in the mountains to different community and hotels that did not meet our expectations. The Isle of Capri was our last night and it saved our opinion of ever going to that part of Colorado again. It started off rocky with a desk clerk thata was less than helpful and the casino staff was likewise but once we got to the room our hearts went to relax. I don't know what the hotel can do about the staff that meets the public but we need to have a heart ot heart. The service does not reflect the excelent facility.

I would recommend this hotel. The price is a little steep, and I don't really like how the prices flexuate on different days,(I'm sure they are not the only ones that do that) but it was very convenient to stay there due to the Casino being right there. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were very courtious. We will defiently stay there again!
