You can stay at this hotel if you plan to wake up at 7 am. If you plan to sleep in then this is not the place for you since you will clearly hear housekeeping or anybody walking in the hallway as if they are next to you in bed.

This is a good hotel for the price. It says its 4-star but I'm not so sure about International ratings. The room was clean and bed nicely made with all accessories. The bathrooms are very neat and clean. The bed is just a little too soft and you can sometimes feel the spring, but nevertheless overall got good quality sleep.

The room was very small, however when I asked the front desk they said it was one of their largest. Our room overlooked the side street and the window we had kept it quiet. We booked smoking King, and when we arrived it was a double, non-smoking. It had a jacuzzi on the roof, there was another jacuzzi on the lower level but you had to make an appointment […] and it was not available and apparantly a fee was required, the fitness facility also required a fee.The hotel is in the heart of the city, however when you went outside you could smell a strong urine odor. I do not know how it got a 4 star rating. The picture on the internet of the outside is very deceiving. We were looking for a romantic stay for our anniversary and it is NOT minnutes away from LaSagrada... we found it, but it was a subway ride to the other side of town. In addition, we did get to Las Rambles, which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. So we were very disappointed, thinking we were in the Les Rambles area... The staff was excellent. Read more

Clean rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet for the price. The room was a bit small with the addition of a cot for a 3rd person, but overall it was a great value for the money. The neighborhood had lots of restaurants, but was not as close to any major attractions as I had expected. DON'T order taxi to airport from the hotel ! you will be surprised with a big extra charge of 25 euros in addition to the regular taxi fair. It's a scam. Just wait on the street and you will see many available taxis coming buy and grab one of them.

The hotel was clean.The decor is modern, a shame for such an old classic city. They have a breakfast room off the main entry, equivalent to a Holiday Inn type of fast breakfast. One additional stay & the breakfast was not included. They charged 15E a piece for this very overpriced meal. The elevator is a very small space and difficult to get yourself, […] another person, and two pieces of luggage inside. Inside the room it is hard to open even one suitcase because of the small area. The bed is hard but again clean. We had left the window open all night hoping to enjoy some fresh air. We did not think that there was going to be a party all night. (There's a restaurant across the street that either never closed or the party just continued in the street all night) In the afternoon, we walked across the street & down the block to get some bottled water & some fruit at a supermarket. When we got back, the front door to the hotel was locked at about 4 pm. They let us back in after we rung the bell soon. I was concerned as to why this occurred and the front desk clerk said that he locked the front door whenever his back was turned to the street. I also noticed a baseball bat behind the desk too) Also, the room key is needed inside the room to turn the lights on....something they don't explain when they send you off to your room. I would have had a tour guide from that area suggest a nicer room; however, it was OK. Read more

The neighborhood of El Raval is not as "seedy" or unseemly as others had made it out to be. I felt safe late at night returning to the hotel via Metro, a woman alone. I booked this hotel consediring that it was a 4 stars hotel well located in Barcelona. I read the reviews and it convinced me that it was a really good deal. I was alone and booked a single room. It turned out to be one of the worst 4 stars hotel that I stayed - the room was very small, the bathtub was repaired, the shower made my bathroom all wet, […] the curtain was old and the view was to nothing. First time to Europe, we found this hotel through hotels.com. The reviews were good, but we must have had the bad luck of getting room 201 (or 204). The room had a musty smell to it. We thought maybe it was the surrounding area, but after the 2nd day, it was obvious it was definitely in the room. I'm used to rooms in the states where you are given two […] small bars of soap, one for the sink and one for the shower. Here they only give you one bar. We had gone through the first bar of soap after the second day, we thought the housekeeper would give us a new one, but she didn't. We had to go down to ask for that and more shampoo. I jus spent 6 days by myself in BCN. I felt very comfortable and safe at the hotel, it had great breakfast and tapas places vey close as well as a subway station. I loved the wifi, after a fantastic day of wondering around I had a clean shower and a cozy bed where I could relax and get in touch with friends and family back home.

Next door to an elementary school for those late sleepers and next to that a park where the homeless sleep. Didn't want to stay in this area but late plans forced this hotel selection. The rooms were small, the "double bed" was two single beds pushed together. The bathroom was fine. There was only one electrical outlet in the room, the alarm clock torn out of the wall, the batteries missing. The front desk personnel was somewhat reserved. Not worth the price we paid, although supposedly a reduced rate already.

The hotel staff were extremely courteous. We used this hotel before a cruise we took. Because of jet lag and a full day of travel, we overslept. They called our room shortly after check out to wake us and never mentioned the late check out. The rooms aren't huge but they are enough to live. My only concern was the firmness of the beds. The hotel is tastefully decorated; the rooms are quite small but well equipped. We had to request a room change because the air conditioning unit was not working. Then the mini bar in the new room had to be changed, as it was not working. The maintenance man was very helpful and efficient. We only spent one night, so have no other comments.

Hotel Millenni is located just next to a main Metro station (Paral lel), close to La Rambla and short walking distance to the magic fountain and Montjuic - really excellent location with many restaurants in the area. The room wasn't very big, but just enough for someone who's here to see the city and not spend their time in a hotel room. It was nice […] and clean, and the Wi-Fi internet connection worked great. The location couldn't be better. It's not on the busiest streets but a walking distance to all important sites in the Old Town and Central Barcelona. There's a bus stop right in front and the metro station is about 50m away. It's the perfect homebase to explore BCN.
