I will never stay at this hotel again. I did not even get my first specific right of having my rooms ready at 3 pm. Around 4 they almost arranged one of the rooms, and I dont remember exactly what time after 6 they delivered the second room. No need to tell more about this hotel. Very friendly service at an upscale hotel. If you are here to shop, then this has to be one of the best hotel options in Dubai as you are literally connected to the Mall of the Emirates. The mall is huge and has stores ranging from Carrefour (similar to a Super Walmart), mid to high range clothing stores, to uber luxury retailers. We opted for an executive […] room which was pricier (but more affordable through Expedia) and worth it with the executive lounge service - nice breakfast, happy hour, and internet included. Lounge seating at breakfast was sometimes tight due to the hotel being at capacity but the staff was accommodating. The separate living area and bedroom (and the spacious bathroom) are a must when traveling with children. The pool was heated and a nice break after walking around the mall. Read more

Both my daughter and I had an enjoyable stay at the Kempinski for a couple of nights. The room was absolutely fantastic and the amenities were equally superb. The room service menu does not have a lot of varieties, but has an acceptable range of selections. We especially enjoyed the proximity to Mall of the Emirates. We could go shopping and take our choices of a variety of restaurants. Our bellman, Paul, was extremely helpful and seem to take very personal interest in our comfort. I didn't get much sleep on the bed, but honestly, it could have been the jet lag.

Great Hotel!!! Staff was over accommodating especially in the Executive Lounge which turned out great because I needed a Conference room after work each day and they were more than happy to assist. The hotel is in a great location, in the Mall of the Emirates. It was comfortable and clean. Sinks in the bathroom don't drain well, so housekeeping had to take out the drainstoppers in both sinks. The carpets in the hallways of hotel appear stain....perhaps need changing. DId get an upgrade to junior suite which was very nice. Staff are very pleasant […] and customer oriented. first of all, the manager( i think )asked us to pay more money to have another room without explaining to us what is the problem with our room which was a 'SKI CHALET' ! when we refused to change our room he told us that there is a maintenance work !! They will convince you to "upgrade" your room and pay almost 50% more of what you paid already for booking of your hotel, and if you dont, they made us wait till 4pm to get our room. Then they gave us the farthest available room from elevators with long walk to reach and plus too weak wifi signal to connect. Then the AC thermostat was broken, so I […] will have to turn on and off AC manually all night to control the room temperature. As if left on, it will turn the room freezing cold and if left off over more than two hours, the room will become hot due to Dubai weather. We complained about this to hotel, but they could not fix it and told us to just try to sleep our last night like this too. We stayed four nights with very uncomfortable nights due to AC problem. Hotel did not show any courtesy to us to even change the room or reslolve the problem. The only plus about this hotel is the location of the hotel for shopping as the lobby of the hotel is connected to the Mall of Emirates. But I will try to stay at Pullman next time as I heard it is also connected to the Mall of Emirates the same way. Read more

To all families: We went to Dubai for a family get away trip. The hotel room we stayed in was a executive delux room. The hotel itself was in a great location, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. The room was in need of a renovation. The first room we were suppose to stay in smelled like mold so they change us to another room. The room was […] small and the drainage was not working properly. The shower basin the water ran outside the shower. The room was not the cleanest and had a odor. The tv remotes the numbers were worn off and the refrigerator cabinet doors were broken. On the other hand, a positive note was the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to alot of kids activities, 10-15 minute by taxi. We loved Ski Dubai. I would definetely chose Altantis over Wild Wadi Water Park. The most fun activity was Kidzania in Dubai Mall. This place is unbelieveable and very educational for kids. This is a whole day activity from 9-6 we stayed. They are open until 10pm during weekdays and 12pm on weekends. You want to go early. We tried to go the night before and they informed us there was 1100 kids inside, which the kids had to wait in line. So we decided to come early the next morning. Its not like an amusement park what I first thought. The kids had to work for their kidzania money in the different little shops. The whole environment is like a minature real working world for kids. The location is wonderful for access to shopping, Ski Dubai and to get around Dubai. The hotel is confortable and service is good. The only downside is some current renovation going on. So from 10am to 5:30 pm there is a constant running of jackhummers. Once the renovation is complete the hotel will be well worth the rate.

This is a great hotel and it is my third time to stay. The room is quite big I would consider it a junior suite. The marble toilet is one of the best designs for hotels in it's categories. It is a bet far a way from downtown but worth staying specially if you are in Dubai for a relaxing or pleasure time.

The hotel is exceptional in terms of service, design, layout (we had a corner suite) and amenities. The only downside is that aside from being connected to the Mall of the Emirates, it is not really convenient to anything else in Dubai. There is a metro stop on the other side of the mall from the Kempinski, but besides that it takes at least 15 minutes […] by taxi to get to any of the other major attractions. Between the hotel's facilities and the mall, however, one could find myriad shopping, entertainment and dining options (but nothing culturally distinctive). Wonderful hotel and attached to the Emirates mall. Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, but be careful, they can put you in the corner where rooms are small and compact. My first stay there was one of those rooms so I was a bit apprehensive about staying again. But I got a regular room and was more than satisfied.

One of the bathrobes had several bad stains on it....like someone colored their hair and the color ended up on the top of the bathrobe. This was not very nice to see.
