On the north side of Dubai Creek, Deira is an interface between the high-rise business city and the traditional Arab trading port. Modern malls give way to ancient souks selling silks, spices, gold, perfumes, and a lively fish market. A broad waterfront promenade leads past the dhow wharf, where the wooden vessels offload their cargos. Beyond lie the dhow boat-building yards, and Dubai Creek’s ritzy golf and yacht club.

"Great hotel for the rate"

For a city like Dubai, and a hotel like Al-Bustan Rotana, my rate was so great compared to other places. The rate I got through Hotels.com was way below the published rates.

"THE Place to stay in Dubai"

Stayed twice on overnights to/from Australia. Arrived and departed on both occasions outside normal hours and were given excellent service. Staff ultra helpful. food delicious, room had everything you needed and beds large and comfortrable. Staff knew and used our name, arranged and advised on trip, organised courtesy transport to and from airport and the city. Restaurant staff very attentive and gave advice on unknown foods, all of which were delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel as a stop over. Only regret was the night we left was a Seafood Theme Night which sounded wonderful but we missed it. C'est la vie!

Hotellet er forholdsvis nytt og har de fleste fasiliteter som restauranter (med alle rettigheter), spa og basseng. Meridien Village med en rekke barer og restauranter ligger tre minutters gange unna. Rommene er romslige, renholdet bra og betjeningen er ytterst høflige og serviceinnstillt, dette gjelder både i resepsjonen og vaskepersonalet. Det er ikke særlig støy fra flyplassen og heller ikke mye trafikkstøy, da dette hotellet ikke ligger langs hovedveien Sheik Zayed Road. Det er st stykke til stranden men hotellet organiserer med transport. Jeg har bodd på dette hotellet mange ganger og det kan herved anbefales.
