"Worst service ever"

Do not stay here. This hotel is a scam and will charge you to breath the air in the room. I was told if I have someone in my room longer than 15 minutes I have to pay an extra guest charge. The staff is rude and ignorant. I will never stay here again will pay double the price before I stay here again. This hotel gives the Wyndham a bad name. Wyndham needs to scrap this brand and start over!!!!! Horrible. When I told the front desk I was going to write a bad review they attempted to cancel my reservation. This hotel and the staff are the worst I have ever experienced! !!!!

The hotel experiences was nice until to have to find out there is not microwave in your room and if you have been there for a whole week you would have food left over. I ask the manager to warm the food the kitchen is locked and the refrig in the room is for water. Then you cant call out long distance to check on your family or anything else.but your room book says you can make long distance calls. We have been there for 4 days and we wanted to stay another night because it was our 5th year anniversary and the manager would not try to lower the room price or help us to have a better stay. Then upon check out we made a cash deposit and they check the room and said one towel was missing....Really, you have to watch who is running your hotels because people are there just to work and not to make sure that the customer is happy with the services. You talk to them about your issues and they just have a dumb look on their face. The manager really needs to go to a class on how to serve or he needs another position. The house keepers where better than the check in staff. Even one guy said I am sure the manager will help you out on your say for one night....never again unless the manager and they way the hotel is ran will change. It as not the room it was the people and if there is more than one complaint about your staff something has to be done.

Paid so little for such a nice room ! Modern design/decor, nice furniture, fridge and AC. Only shower could be better. Staff in lobby was kind to us and I do not understand why so many people complain about them. Unless there are 2 groups of guys working - the rude one and the nice one and we were lucky to get the nice one. Walls were quite thin because we could hear people passing by and laughing. Room includes complimentary breakfast between 7am-10am and they served sausages, eggs, waffles, muffins, bread, cereal, bananas, apples, coffee, water and lemonade. Oh and yogurts !!! When I come back to AC again I will definitely keep them in mind.

We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. We had a room on the top floor which we found to be very spacious, clean and modern. There was a little noise from people returning to their rooms at night but only lasted a few minutes. The hotel is opposite Tropicana and only a few minutes from the boardwalk. The hotel met all our needs for our trip and we had no complaints.
"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"

The staff is very disrespectful and rude. They treated us as if our money had no value. They were unpleasant, unfriendly, you name it. And who wants to stay at a hotel where they are being monitored?? They called my room at 3 am accusing of having late night guest, then apologized and said there was a misunderstanding. The room was clean and decent, though small. However, the beds had no blankets and the room got so cold at night, I went home with a draft. Parking is an additional $10 and there weren't too many spots so you are out of luck if you drive anywhere. I could write a book about how terrible my stay was but to sum it up for you, PAY THE EXTRA BUCK AND GO ELSEWHERE. I will never stay here again, Ever.
"surprisingly nice rooms"

the outside looks unpresuming, but the rooms inside were very clean and nice looking. sits next to the Tropicana and its better to park there. the hotel charged for daily parking, vehicles were double parked and if you left...... you lost your spot and the staff didn't care. park at the tropicana and get a rewards card, then your parking is free. the breakfast was ok. the eggs were a perfectly round disc and you could not enjoy breakfast in your room.... it wasn't allowed. i would stay here again.
"Owners and management are very rude. Won't waste my money here again."

This place has a great location next to the Tropicana, but that's about all it has going for them. Parking is absolutely terrible. The management is very rude. They were never very helpful when we asked questions. When it came time to check out(at11am) it was 11:01 and they were calling the room to get us out. They were rude when it came time for us to load our car and leave. They told us to just leave our stuff there and move our car, for another guest was leaving the same time as us. That's fine I don't want to hold anyone up, but if I'm leaving the exact same time, they can wait 30 seconds for me to put my stuff in the car and drive away. I will never stay at this establishment again.

My husband and I recently saw a concert at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and stayed at the TRYP. We made the reservations through Wyndham and checked in with no problems. Honestly the only thing we didn't like about the room was that if we opened the curtains to get natural light, we looked out (and people could look in) to the motel outdoor walkway. Closing the curtains gave us a cave-like vibe that we personally didn't like. That said, the room had two queen size beds, lots of pillows, and they were REALLY comfortable to sleep in. The room had a refrigerator, which we also appreciate. The stall shower was fine and the bathroom was well lit. There is a safe in the closet for storing valuables and an iron and board if you need it. There was a hairdryer in the vanity drawer and plenty of towels. The room was clean and smelled nice, and as it was a hot humid day when we arrived, the A/C was going and the room was nice and cool. There is an outdoor pool we would have taken advantage of if we were staying longer. The Tropicana Hotel & Casino is right across the street, so we took advantage of some of their nice restaurants, and in the morning rented two bicycles very cheaply for an hour from two nice young people outside the Trop. The hotel is a short walk from the Boardwalk Hall, so that was really great as well. Also, it is a very short walk to the free beach! We would definitely return to the the TRYP.

i decided to redeem some of my wyndham reward points and check out this newly remodeled hotel.on the outside its nothing special, the lobby was small but effecient, the elevator was slow but effecient.when i get to my room,317,i was surprised to see it was brand new inside.the ac was pumping cold air,the room was clean and had no smells to it and the bathroom had a walk in shower with good water pressure.the bed and pillows were plush and comfy.the only negatives for me were the alarm clock was the wrong time and i could not change it,the tv was too difficult to use with the remote and the towels were thin and scratchy.the parking is horrible in the hotel and they charge a fee nightly so my choice was to park at tropicana where i park free and walk across the street to the hotel.very friendly and helpful staff and most definitly stay again.some advice sign up or the wyndham rewards credit card spend the required amounts in the time frame and get points you can use for free stays, they only cost 10000 points a night which is great.
