The hotel was good for the location. The service was good and the room was clean. The only draw back I found was the space. For the little time we spent in the room, the space was a little tight and a little hard to move around.

we arrived 4/7 the first night was ok the room was clean. no wifi The next day the fire alarms went off we gathered our things and ran out the garage I went into the office they said someone was tampering with the alarms then off and on all day there was a loud clicking sound coming from a speaker in our room we were awakened at 230 am by this clicking […] and when I went to see what was going on the desk sad they thought it was air fresheners they seemed to me not to care it was just too bad. this is worst hotel experience we have had.. I booked this hotel for the weekend of the Blue Moon Wicked 10K with low expectations but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I had to leave a day early due to Sandy making her way towards the coast but the manager on duty was more than willing to refund my money - in fact he brought it up before I'd even thought about asking about it. We booked a room given only 2 choices of a ground floor room or a higher level. We choose a higher level finding that it was a smoking room when we arrived. When we asked to change to a non-smoking room, the clerk was pretty rude and wouldn't allow a change, even though the hotel was half empty. The doors close fast and slam, so anytime someone went […] to their room, it would wake us up. The pool is a joke. Very small, about 12ft x 12ft and only 3-4 ft deep. The location was nice, very noisy on the street side, but from the oceanfront side, you can't hear the noise. The breakfast was great. The room wasn't too bad. A little small. The hotel is in a nice location with gorgeous oceanfront view. The room is very small for family of four. It also has outdated appliance and not much storage. It is relatively clean but could be better. Staff are nice and friendly. Hotel needs lots of cosmetic updating. The in-room wifi was uber slow.

The hotel and it's staff was great and very friendly,also has a pretty good continental breakfast. The only problem we had was with the gold key people on the strip there are way to many. We went to the beach to relax and have fun not to be aggrevated by these people trying to sell us something and try to force us to listen to a presentation. This has got to be the cleanest Hotel I have stayed in for years! Continental breakfast was quite adequate and the owners went above and beyond. Daughter needed to fax a college transcript and they were extremely helpful. Fireworks were set off from a boat almost directly in front of the Hotel. Rates were quite acceptable for oceanfront. the elevator was old and slow. it was very hot inside the elevator and hallways. the front desk person did let us leave our car there for a couple hours after we checked out so we could do some more site seeing before we left town, otherwise we would've had to pay to park somewhere else.

It was an overall good experience. The hotel is right in the middle of the strip, so it's convenient (within walking distance) to all sorts of shopping, entertainment and restaurants. The pool is small, 11 person capacity. The hotel was had a great oceanfront location. I need moved my car upon arrival because a lot of great restaurants & shops are in walking distance. Only downside was the small pool & horrible continental breakfast. The pool pictres are decieving on the website! All the staff members were very nice and we enjoyed our stay, even if it was cut short due to a family illness. We paid for 3 nights and had to leave early. Wish they had better food on the breakfast menu. The place was clean and rooms comfortable. We had a none smoking room, but there were other rooms in the hotel were for smokers. This hotel offered a standard room, with a roomy bathroom, but was not full of extras and frills. The room was very clean and had a great view of the ocean. Fridge and microwave included, and a limited channel tv. Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean. Completely met my needs, and the staff was beyond super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

it rained one of the nights we stayed in the hotel and the rain came in around the window and soaked the floor our suitcases and clothes were soaked, and this was the last night we were there when i told them they just said sorry if we could have told them they would have moved us, but it happened in the middle of the night so we couldn't have known. […] so we had to ware dirty clothes home cause our clean clothes were wet. they didn't even ask us if they could dry our clothes for us. the roof leaked in their chair and got my phone charder wet witch was pluged into the wall, (DANGER) and the pool was not even a full size pool. The clubs on the main strip is a noisy and unstable crew, when you are coming in to settle down is not good. You have to blow your horn twice to get in the garage, due to the fact they don't want to leave it open due to the club crew. We were met with friendliness and attention upon arrival which lasted through our breakfast jaunts each morning, a walk by the desk or out to the boardwalk....our room was clean, i would have preferred larger pillows, but everything was bright and sunny. The Econolodge was more than I expected, you get that and more for your buck. The rooms were spacious, clean and the view was awesome. The room was ok, had a beautiful view of the ocean and a large balcony. The other positive thing was a mini-kitchen (a must when you travel with kids). On the downsize, there is only one elevator that runs very slowly, at some point we even considered walking up to the seventh floor. And the pool, which is comparable to the size of a dining table.
