"A little overrated"
I chose this B&B based on prior reviews online. I would give it overall rating of average, not outstanding. Our room was so small that the door almost hits the bed when opening it. Closet space was very small and tight and the doors were noisy and difficult to open, so we just left them open. The bathroom was practically on top of the bed. My husband […] said the hot cooked breakfast was good (but limited to one thing), while I stuck with the yogurt and fruit. The building is very old but neat and clean with new paint & carpeting. Staff is very helpful and congenial. I gave the trip to my husband for a surprise birthday trip to a sporting event. I was a little disappointed and think I'll stick with a hotel next time! "Old house but great staff"
This is a hotel that makes you feel like at home. It is a 1800s house but maintained very well and has very friendly staff. Great breakfast, snacks, and coffee. The only thing not so good may be the location since it is about 25 minutes walk from downtown Denver.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will be Back!"
What a wonderful place! Great people, incredible breakfast, and a great room. Will be planning a return soon!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This bnb is bitter sweet. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggage in a safe place until our check in time and when the room was ready brought in our bags. Sarah makes a mean veggi scramble. Can't remember the other bnb staff...he gave us recommendations for restaurants. The in room robes are so soft they feel […] like u r wearing your favorite teddy bear. I booked the Skyline room and when we arrived was told we could get a free upgraded room. Cool that they offered but I declined cause I wanted the awesome view...at this point I was told of the early am construction going on the Rooftop room. Sarah was kind enough to give us a tour of all the rooms not occupied . Night one we stayed in the Local Artist Suite 1...Clean but smelt like an old library, great fireplace, very bright all night due to a lamp in the hall for guests, loud on first floor by the bnb entrance wonderful jacuzzi bath tub, and the smallest TV I have ever seen (my laptop was bigger). Night two we stayed in Local Artist Suite 4... Clean, hip and not musky, decent view of downtown from small window, large sunken in tub shower with 3 heads, top floor so it was quiet, jazz music option for in room speakers and a tiny TV The bnb is near a train stop, close to the action but not in it--a bit rough Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Welcome Refuge"
Visiting Denver for three day conference at Colorado Convention Center. 15 minute walk or easy cab ride. My room at the Inn was clean, bed very comfortable, antique wood bureau, desk, armoire, and sofa a delight. Milan (owner and chef) and staff wonderful, friendly, immediately responsive. Milan's booked breakfasts were wonderful. The first morning, […] a waffle with fruit and maple syrup. The second morning an ommlette with cheese, guacamole, and a lovely, smokey light sauce. "Beautiful B&B close to Downtown Denver"
After lugging our bags to our room at the top of the stairs we were amazed at the stunning fresco of Aspen trees that was the feature of our high domed room. Breakfast was wonderful and we always love meeting people from all over the world while enjoying a delicious home-made breakfast. Being close to the downtown was a definite advantage and we walked […] to 16th St for dinner. The next morning we visited the beautiful Colorado State Capitol Building, again an easy 15 minute walk from the B@B. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very Nice B&B"
Queen Anne B & B is about a 25 minute walk to the Denver Art Museum and other downtown locations. The individually cooked breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this B & B to anyone who likes the charm of a small beautifully decorated place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Queen Anne was a great find. Nice, clean, very helpfull and attentive staff. The 2 breakfasts I had there were great, actually gourmet!!!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Enjoyed the stay at Queen Ann. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Delicious breakfast with vegatables from the garden. Unique place having been built in 1879. Recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fun in Denver"
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Queen Anne. We especially enjoyed talking to the owner/chef. The breakfast was excellent. You can easily walk to downtown Denver. We stayed in the Park room which was a very nice sized room on the 3rd floor. For guests that have difficulty in climbing stairs I would recommend the rooms on the 1st or 2nd floor. Average score on service includes a 5-star rating for the afternoon manager and a 1-star rating for the morning cool/general manager, who acted like guests were an imposition at breakfast and served late both days we were there. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quaint, well maintained and right downtown"
Surprising garden and access to local produce grown in an urban garden across the street. This locale is easily accessible and even has safe parking. Proprietors are friendly and rooms very comfortable. Be prepared to carry luggage up stairs in this 1897 house.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This little gem in an historic neighborhood was a discovery. I chose it because it was close to the 16th St. mall as well as the Amtrak station. Evening "happy hour" with wine and cheese gave us an opportunity to have conversations with diverse and interesting guests, and Milan, who manages the QA, set out an earlier than usual breakfast so that we […] could meet our early morning train. Fantastic! Warm breakfast made for each guest (and with veggies from their garden) was a wonderful surprise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooftop Room. Room was extremely small. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Private hot tub on roof, but not discrete. Breakfast was scrambled eggs with some vegetables but no real seasoning. All in all I do not consider it a value for the money, and a general disappointment. I would not return to this B&B.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautifully managed and designed historic home."
The Queen Anne B & B combines the best of older home atmosphere, personal attention and modern facilities. The Aspen room is a beautifully decorated and designed space. We loved the painting dome that sits above the bed. Breakfast was first class as was the hospitality. Close to downtown Denver this was a real find for us.Genuine Expedia guest review
The host was very welcoming and energetic. The fountain room was wonderful. Food emphasized organic local products. They offered free wine and cheese as well as advice about local restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice B & B within walking distance of Denver Mall"
Very nice room and pleasant owners but who were a little over zealous in their green, eco-friendly alternative lifestyle stance. The only info available in the room was for organic restaurants and stores with "natural" products rather than providing info on a variety of services. Breakfast was good but not great, again due to over focus on using all […] natural, organic ingredients and food options. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Will stay there again"
When we visit our daughter in Denver we can often stay with her but not this time. "Great hotel in walking distance to many attraction"
The staff was exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the history of the house. They gave great directions to local eateries and attractions along with great reviews of those places. They also were very knowledgeable about the locally grown movement in the area, in which the hotel plays a good part. The breakfasts were […] to die for each morning! Fresh and super tasty! We stayed in the Tower. The room was gorgeous and spacious, with a nice view. The bed was too soft for my tastes and kept sliding away from the headboard if you tried to prop yourself up against it. The hotel has a spotlight outside and above the Tower room, be sure to keep the blinds drawn at night to try and block it out if you are a light sensitive sleeper. "Lovely place, delightful staff, so-so breakfast"
The historic building is delightful and I especially enjoyed the spacious walled gardens in the back--an urban oasis! I had my breakfast in the garden at one of the many comfortable tables, amidst flowers and draping, decorated trees. Bed was very comfrotable, room was quirky and delightful with a jacuzzi tub. However, each room has an individual window […] air conditioner, so difficult to close the drapes as it covered the air conditioner. There is a lot of light outside at night, and the drapes need to be closed or you need a sleep mask.Only disappointment was breakfast. I am used to B&Bs excelling at breakfast, which is not the case here. Breakfast was store-bought mini-muffins, two kinds of drab cereal in plastic cylindar dispensers, spongey waffles with fresh strawberries and bananas (good fresh fruit, but small amount) and frozen blueberries (terrible) on top. They served local coffee. I was unable to atend the wine and cheese reception the night before. I chose this B&B because it was close to a downtown area I needed to visit the next day. It was quite convenient, and had free off-street parking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice, Quaint, Historical B&B"
Room was comfortable and clean although the furniture had the appearance of being well used. The immediate area around the B&B is fine but a block or so away, things get questionable. I would not recommend walking in the area after dark. Breakfast was good, although did not provide much in the way of options. We do not have much experience with Bed and Breakfast establishments so cannot make a good comparison. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. The Queen Anne was a great place to stay: clean, well-maintained, quiet. The staff was helpful and professional. This was my first time Staying at a Bed & Breakfast and I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice, they even upgraded us to a suite. The location is pretty good, about 10 mins […] walk to the city centre so it is very close to downtown. The breakfast was probably the best thing.
