Comfortable and nice looking rooms. Courteous staff. Elevator was difficult to operate as it failed to recognize keys, lobby bathrooms are not nearly big as they should be. Other than these minor gripes its a very good hotel.

Great hotel for staying in the city. Stayed there for one night before leaving the country. Easy to get to the airport. Nice location downtown for good food and night life. I plan on making this my go to hotel in Guatemala City.

Nice Hotel in a nice area, close to many restaurants and great room size. Includes internet service but they overcharge for breakfast (in Barcelo Guatemala they include breakfast in one of their comparable rates). It is better than the Radisson (close to this one).

Bueno, buena ubicacion, amplia y comoda habitacion.... pero, no me gusto que todas las mañanas pasaran golpeando y abriendo habitacion por habitacion para el servicio de lavanderia... Creo q perfectamente el que requiera este servicio puede poner su solicitud en la puerta.. Esto evitaria incomodar a los huespedes dia a dia...

The hotel has spacious rooms, excellent beds, clean and fuctional. Delicious breakfasts. Fast wifi. The coffee shop has poor service, though. And Zona 10, zona rosa, where Casa Veranda is boring to death, just like an airport. If you're not just flying in and out for business, I'd rather reccomend Hotel Pan American in the (safe part of) the city centre. […] That's a place with atmosphere, and a lot of nice places to eat and drink in the evenenings just around the corner. The hotel is fine, spacious rooms with a balcony each. Delicious breakfasts, fast wifi. I stayed there a couple of times. The area (zona rosa) in which is located is fine if you fly in/fly out on a short mission, but it is utterly boring, like an airport waiting area sperad out in the landscape. And it has grown more boring with the time. What tends […] to irritate me in Hotel Veranda/Mercuer is the service in the bar/coffee shop ln the ground floor. It is slow and inefficient, and they have this annoying habit of running after you when you enter it as if you were an intruder. My piece of good davice to the guys working there: Let guests enter, find a table or the friends/business partner they are going to meet in the cafe, and then start running. And when I checked out Wednesday 21 November, I was asked to pay an in-announced tax on the bottle of water I had taken from the minbar. At best unusual. But again: I would give the hoytel a chance, and could stay there once more. Read more

wir waren sehr zufreiden mit dem hotel; sehr ruhige zimmer, schöne betten mit angenehmer bettwäsche.nur die dusche könnte mal ausgewechselt oder entkalkt werden-es sprühte nur fein. wir bekamen ein upgrade in die master-suite. weil wir sehr früh eincheckten und die gebuchte kategorie noch nicht verfügbar war. sehr freundliche leute am check-in.
