Dirty sheets, uncomfortable beds, broken toilet, dirty tube. The room says it comes with AC, but they charge for the controller. It also states free wi-fi in rooms, but it only works in the lobby. I'll start off by saying its a good location for things you need: restaurants, markets, and most forms of transportation. Unfortunately, if you like somewhere quiet to sleep, this isn't the best place: It's located right above a bar, and people like to stay up late around here. The internet was spotty in the room so I would have to sit out in the lobby to get a good connection. The bed was terrible, it was more spring than mattress. The walls are super thin. And to top it off, we were charged a room tax as we were leaving of 2 euro /person / night, and the guy added it up wrong and asking for 8 euro extra (I don't know if it was on purpose or if he was still groggy from us waking him from his nap. We did resolve it, however). I don't know about the condition of surrounding hotels, so I don't know if this is sub par for the area or not, but I would suggest looking elsewhere first. Read more

Overall, this hotel was a pretty good hotel. It was located very close (right across the street) from the train station, so there was a lot of foot traffic on the street both night and day. The hotel was conveniently located for access to the metro, which is how my husband and I travelled to the attractions of Rome. There were plenty of restaurants close to the hotel as well. Overall, our stay was a good one. The desk staff spoke enough English to communicate and the room was clean and kept. I would like for anyone who plans on staying here to be prepared to pay extra for additional services such as a/c, T.v., and even if they do not have the room you book available. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is a block away from the central train station. The nicest part of the hotel is the lobby. The room we stayed in had no A/C the outlets didn't work so we couldn't charge our camera. The beds ar probably from the 1930's and we would sink about a foot when we layed in them. There was no heating and when I asked staff to put this on I was told they couldnt because the manage was not around. This was the most disgusting establishment I have ever stayed in. There is a communal toilet and shower down the hall, not in each room, and the light is on a time, so I found myself using the toilet in the dark.
