Colazione "miserina". Personale sempre cortese e gentile.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent hotel at Quartu San Elena, near Cagliari, Sardinia"
07/25/14 Theo V Almere, The Netherlands
Our family room with kitchenette was excellent!!! Very friendly, helpful and skilful staff. Good price/quality. Fine breakfast. Good location, near a vast sandy beach and near the salt evaporation ponds and a wetland park (QSE is the place to be for bird watchers!). More than enough parking, good bus connection with Cagliari. "Good value for your money"

You certainly don't waste your money booking this hotel. You can choose a Residence room which resembles a small apartment or just go for the regular rooms. Hotel staff and direction are very helpful and friendly with all kinds of questions. Breakfast is great. And though it's nog situated in a very nice neighborhood it's geographically perfect because it's 2 busstops from the beach, 5 min by bike and 2 min by car. The Cagliari City Center (beware this is Quartu another city) is also reachable but the hotel would be more feasible for family's or couple that want to discover the whole south of Sardinia. Only point that really has to improve but they're working on it is the quit unstable wifi in the rooms.
"A nice hotel"

To see this beautiful island you will need to hire a car, so although the hotel is on the outskirts of the city it would make no difference. The staff are really nice and helpful, the hotel is spotless and the breakfast is spot on. It is only a couple of minutes from the beach by car but it takes about 20 mins to walk this is through a nature reserve so it is a pleasant walk. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

You dont wast your money here, the room is clean and the service ok, and the prices are fair. And you are near to Cagliari, where they will charge double for half. Certainly this is is not the Meurice, but it is a good deal.
"Very good hotel"

I stayed in this hotel with my father for ten days this August. Staff was extremely friendly, rooms were very clean and nice, breakfast was superb, WiFi and air-conditioning were working perfectly. Beach which is about 15 minutes walk is not so stunningly beautiful as for example, Villasimius. But we took a bus to reach other beaches. All in all, a very good hotel and cheap.
"BEST SOLUTION FOR CAGLIARI !"

"STAFF SPEAK ENGLISH!!!"

I had a really bad experience at B&B Garibaldi and so I checked into Hotel Italia. The staff are soooo friendly and extremely HELPFUL!!!! The breakfast was superb and there are amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. The beautiful Poetto beach is a 15 minute walk and the city center (cagliari) is a ten minute drive. Had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again
"Extremely friendly staff and convenient hotel"

Hotel rooms are spacious, simple and clean. Breakfast is also very good. It is good business or leisure hotel with free WiFi (working in all floors) and free car parking inside the hotel teritory. Hotel location is also very convenient if you want to take a rest near Cagliari airport before/after the fligh. I used my Best Western reward points to pay for staying, only 16 000 points per night. The most amazing thing about this hotel was his very firendly staff. We had an incident with a car - our rented car tyre got flat. I asked the guy at reception where could I fix it. He was so helpful that he took the flat tyre (it was Sunday evening) and returned it fixed next day! We appreciate it very much!! It was amazing! :)
"Probably One of the BEST hotels for Holiday Goers to Quartu!!"
03/17/13 Hfitzy Cambridge, United Kingdom
For a decade I've returned to Quartu to reunite with my Italian family and I've stayed at this hotel several times, purely because of these reasons. Primarily the workers and receptionists are very friendly, speak English and are most generous. - There is a WIFI Computer/ WIFI for you own room. - The rooms are air conditioned, which is a god send when it comes to hot summer days and nights. - There is a lovely, small breakfast room downstairs whereby one may tuck in to the standard 3*** foods such as custard doughnuts, delicatessen, fruits, yoghurts, a variety of juices and not to mention the meats and cheeses! - Since The Hotel Doesn't serve lunch or Dinner, the opportunity of sneakily snatching additional food into your bags for lunch is possible, However - do so at your own risk!!! I got catch once and they were most displeased... (Dramatic Music*) But do not fear because there is a two minute walk past the Police Station (Towards the Coast) and there is a lovely little supermarket to purchase your beverages and foods at reasonable prices. - The bedrooms themselves are rather sustainable; with a table, mini kitchen, chairs, and a bed that is cleaned daily. What more can one possibly ask for? There is a Sky Remote with a relatively proportionate tv screen for amusement and the bathrooms have plenty of bottles of shampoo/soap, you name it. Showers work lovely and there is of course, a safe to protect your goods. Despite it's relatively old appearance (Navy Blue Blankets and 1970 Themed Walls), It is wrong to praise its reliability. Not only is the location next door to the police station (so you are guaranteed to be extra safe in an already safe country) but it's five minutes to a shuttle bus that goes either to Cagliari or to Poetto Beach. For you readers who are accustomed to 5***** Luxury hotels, I'm afraid that this is not the hotel for you. This hotel is suited for those who wish to explore the local area, the culture within both cities and to enjoy the white sandy beaches down the road. It is a safe, reliable hotel to put your feet up and to sleep in comfort. Noise levels are reasonably low at all times. There is a car park available too, however any cars that return to the hotel after very later (11pm+) must park in the lower level since their is a gate, CCTV etc - just for precaution. I APPROVE this hotel - for what it's worth - you will get a bargain, particularly if you are out, enjoying what Sardegna has to offer!
"Nice folks, parking, quiet, suburban location, good restaurants nearby"
04/20/12 RonTSmithers_B_C_ Smithers, B.C.
If one has a car, it is easier to navigate around Sant Elena than Cagliari. An easy drive from the airport. Good, off street parking. Typical Italian hotel breakfast. Friendly staff. Free WiFi. I note the previous comment about there being few resturant choices: I found 1 excellent restaurant and one good restaurant very close by, plus a few pizzarias. A short drive (or medium walk) past salt lagoons full of pink flamingos (really) to the beach.
