The service at this resort is beyond any I can compare to. Every time I look to the left or right there is a staff member there to accommodate me before I even ask, calling me sir or very often they remembered my name, that's a nice touch. Now that all that has been said, let me comment on the food. Wow, we dined at each of the hotel's restuarants. They give new meaning to the phrase "Fine Dining". I cant wait to book next year's trip. The hotel is the ex HILTON and was taken over by Moevenpick. So far no real investment has been done. The hotel rooms are a bit run down. The bathroom in some areas is not very clean, the joints have black moisture, some paint surface is falling off. But the upshot are the prices for some of the services. They charge 575 Pesos for airport pickup while […] a taxi costs 150. But the real big thing is: A 0.7l bottle of San Pellegrino shows 570 Pesos on the menu at the pol bar. However, the complete charge is 740 Pesos including beverage tax (ha ha for water!!!!!) and VAT. This is 13 Euros for ONE bottle!!!!! So be careful: the prices on the lists are never what you will pay. another example: if you decide to eat a steak (200g) in your room, they charge you more than 30 Euros which is more than the entire multi-course buffet dinner every evening which is 1700 Pesos. Another point is: be early for breakfast. With high occupancy you find no seat in the main restaurant for breakfast. You have to go into a second one which has not the same service and no toasters, etc. All in all a bit disappointing. We will not return there. Read more

We picked this hotel because it was next to the Shangrila which we originally wanted to book but did not allow a family of 4 people in a room. The Hilton (now Movenpick) has huge suites with 2 bedrooms. There are 2 balconies, 1 in the master bedroom and 1 in the living room. The site is right next to the Island Banca Cruise, a company which provides island hopping, scuba diving and other water sport services. This Hotel is a classic tourist trap. The hotel does have characteristics of a 4 star hotel but the pricing is ridiculous and use of the facilities and amenities is restricted. Facilities and amenities use is restricted: Pool closes at 10 pm, beach closes at 6 pm, beach is 200 feet long, white sands, but just 200 feet long. The beach and pool are under arm guard. I don’t think the guard will shoot you, but there is no way to slip into the pool or beach after hours. Beach towels can not be taken to your rooms. If you bring a towel from your room the concierge staff asks you to take it back. Shuttle buses going to Cebu city are three in all, three trips and allow for no longer then a 3 hour stay down town. This is a very nice hotel resort with European styling and great amenities. The room was fantastic, as the private beach is fantastic. While I didn't try out the pools, they look great, although they really need to work on their treatment system, as there is an everpresent sulphurous smell around that area. After experiencing shangrila, movenpick doesn't even come close. I must admit all staff are very accomodating, except for the one who initially served us from the start. Taxi trip to city costs around 300 pesos. Surrounding - There isn't much to do in the surrounding area except for local markets and stalls. Overall - Great for a quick getaway to unwind and have some peace. Excellent for couples and families. Not so much if you're looking for nightlife and excitement. Definitely worth the amount we paid. 전반적으로 숙박은 좋았습니다. 작지만 아담하고 예쁜 비치를 가지고 있고 밖에 보이는 뷰도 상당히 좋습니다. 그리고 세부시티까지 밴을 운행해서 택시비 아끼고 세부시티에 있는 아얄라 등에서 놀다들어오니 재미있더군요 ㅎㅎ 다만 호텔근처에 식당이나 마시지샵등이 있긴하지만 비싸기만하고 별로 좋지 않더군요. 그렇다고 밤늦게까지 세부시티에서 여기저기 돌아다니자니 돌아가는 택시비도 많고 그래서 일찍 들어와서 호텔밥먹었습니다. ㅎㅎ 이게 유일한 단점이고 그 외에 호텔 내부적으로는 전혀 나무랄 것이 없습니다. 저녁 늦게 택시타고 왔다갔다 하실거면 베스트입니다.

서비스는 최악이다...가자마자 체크인하였는데 4시였는데도 불구하고 1시간가량을 기다리라 하고 나가서 놀다오라하지않나.... 다른사람들은 다 체크인해주고..-_- 근데 리조트 시설이나 view는 정말 무지 이쁘다는.... 리모델링하여 하루만 묵었는데 그게 너무 아쉬울정도로...sea side view도 멋지고.....서비스 빼곤 너무 만족했어요~ 근데 아침밥은 솔직히 비추....ㅋㅋ

朝早く着いたので、予約していたデラックスルームにすぐ泊まれませんでしたが、スイートルームが空いていたのでそちらに追加料金を払って泊まりました。 いや～評判どおりスイートは良かったです。見晴らしも21Fの海に面した部屋で「サイコー！」と思わず叫んじゃいました（笑） プライベートビーチやプールは前情報どおり余り大きくなかったですが、そこそこきれいで人も少なく満足できました。 しかし、唯一気に食わなかったのが、帰りにセブ市までのシャトルバス（というかセダン）に乗ったのですが、あいにく4月6日がフィリピンの宗教的な祝日でSMもアヤラモールも全部しまってて、仕方なくマクタン島に戻ってもらったのですが、途中の適当なSPAで降ろしてもらった所、あとからその運ちゃんが電話してきて800ペソも追加料金を要 […] 求してきました。 結局SPAから出てから交渉する旨伝えて1時間ほどで出たところ、どこかへいなくなってました。 やはり元ヒOトンとは言え、所詮フィリピン人に「ホスピタリティー」的なものを期待するのは無理だと思いました。 ・・というわけで満足度は３とさせていただきます。 Read more

Fint hotell men smala sängar om man tar två enkelsängar dvs ingen queensize. Vi delade med våra två små barn och det blev jättetrångt. Sen är det hutlöst dyrt att äta på hotellet. Lunch och middag blev lika dyrt som tio luncher på annat ställe. Åk in till stan och ät om ni har möjlighet. Plus för fin strand och pool och närhet till flygplatsen.

フィリピンは町の風景とホテルのギャップが大きい。ホテルカクテル１杯で街中のランチが食べれる為、値段の価値観がおかしくなる。このホテルは敷地が狭いためビーチでのんびりする方には良いでしょう。スタッフもフレンドリーなスタッフも多く、安心です。ちょっと高いけど２１階のエクステイブラウンジはおススメ。朝食、アフタヌーンティーはサンドイッチもあり、夕方からはお酒もあるよ。更にコーヒーやドリンク飲みたければいつでもOKがうれしい。電気機器の注意は携帯電話のコンセントなど電圧変換されないと受電より放電になるからコンセントに差し込まない方が良い。夕食はラプラプまでなら往復タクシー代払っても安いかも？後、朝食のパンを持ってビーチに行き、桟橋からちぎって海に投げると魚が寄ってくるからお子様連れには良いかも。
