It was exactly what I would expect for $60! The bed was really comfortable and they have free cable. However, the hot water in the bathroom sink didn't work, and there was visible rust in and around the tub and toilet. No fridge/microwave, and the girl working at the desk was unpleasant, but I would stay there again!

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was the best we've slept in for awhile. Great location with easy access to downtown Eugene. Hotel is a little tired, but room was clean and fresh. Many amenities for the price. Recommend interior rooms for added quiet.

Linens could use an upgrade, sheets a little scratchy, blanket like an old army blanket, curtain not big enough to block light. Staff very friendly, room clean, tub could use a recaulk.. But overall quiet, and pleasant, nice landscaping!

Being that it was my first time in that area is wasn't bad. A little noisey but you can't expect quiet in a busy area. Otherwise i really enjoyed my stay and would probably stay there next time. One more thing would be the rooms are a little small with all the furniture in them. Otherwise, ok.

We were in Eugene working on a rental house that we own, and needed an affordable place to stay. This fit the bill. Not too fancy, but adequate to our needs. The free breakfast is very basic - it could use some fresh food added to the instant oatmeal packets and pre-packaged sweet rolls.

I stayed in this hotel with my fiance, and from the moment we walked in we regretted it. The room was dingy and smelled like cigarrettes,and the sink and shower both were clogged. We could hear both of our neighbors through the paper thin walls all night.This hotel is WAY overpriced for what it provided.

The freezer in the refrigerator was so encrusted with ice the door to the refrigerator wouldn't close. We were there two nights and they defrosted the refrigerator after our first night when I reported it, but their response […] to the problem was a cheerful "no problem." Well, yes, it was a problem; I had stuff I needed to keep cold. Bed very sloppily made. Maddeningly low water pressure in shower. This room was decent, as far as this type of motel goes. The problem is that when I took my shower in the morning, the fire alarm went off. We quickly evacuated the room, rationally concerned. The front desk was rude to us and said it was faulty, and it just goes off sometimes. Apparently it was the steam from the shower, because it went off again after […] my fiance took a shower. They knew about the issue beforehand, failed to warn us when we checked in, and refused to help us turn off the alarm. They were very uninterested in providing any kind of customer service. I was forced to make reservations at Econolodge multiple times this Spring/Summer for economic reasons and other hotel availbility. I'm attending classes nearby. Some of the other students stayed at Econolodge once & refused to stay again. It is an old, dated Hotel & not very clean. Disappointed in my return trip to this motel. Breakfast was minimal, there was no computer (just wifi for those with "devices"), bed had issues, plumbing had leaks, furniture was too big for the room. Last year it was much better.
