"a bit older of a Motel, but I was very impressed"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This was a bit older of a Motel, but I was very impressed how clean it was.I was very happy with the service people. Very friendly and helpful. I missed my plane and they were very good to me and I stayed there one more night. The price is in relationship with the kind of motel this and i was pleased. They deserve their / your business. Their breakfast is only muffins and orange juice.

Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don’t miss the futuristic main library. Seattle’s twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.

"Exceptional staff in Seattle!!!!"
We stayed here for my wife’s 40th Birthday and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. accept for the morning we woke up, Starbucks had a water leak that flooded the Whole Foods below. This made it so all the water had to be turned off in the entire building, so we had no water when we woke up. The hotel was AWESOME in handling this freak event and compt […] us another night to stay. GREAT place and exceptional staff. I would stay here again even if the water turned off, it is just a spectacular place...... Read more
"Pan-Pacifc class"
This was my first stay at Pan-Pacific and I must say I was impressed. The very comfortable bed was In an ideal sized room with a very nice view. The staff at the desk were helpfull, congenial and genuinely interested in ensuring that my trip would be a memorable one. The location was excellent with the largest and most beutifully designed Whole foods […] I have ever seen attached to the building and Starbucks on the other side. As a builder myself I would like compliment everybody involved in conceiving this property it is a home run! Read more
"nice facility, so so location"
Clean and bright rooms with large nice bathrooms. Was dismayed that when we asked for slippers, we got used slippers. That is my only (though significant, as it's disgusting) complaint.
"Pan Pacific Seattle, Business Hotel"
While the hotel is well maintained and clean, I would not recommend it for anyone but a business traveler. The room was stark and uninteresting. The closet appeared to be an afterthought, as it was a freestanding piece located in a small hall. When the closet doors were opened, it blocked passage. There was one mirror in the hall, but no outlet nearby. […] Since the toilet is in the same room as the sinks, it takes the entire room out of commission if someone is using the toilet. Would be nicer to have a sink area separate from the toilet, or at least have a mirror in the room with an outlet and lighting. The room has one tiny piece of wall art and one framed black and white picture. Very bland, monochromatic decorating. This is great for someone who's there strictly for business, but not the place to stay for a getaway and certainly not romantic or cozy. The staff were nice and accomodating, but overall it was a disappointment. Read more

"Excellent"
Perfect service and great staff! Very satisfied...
"Great location"
was here for a class at lake union. Normally I stay on lake union but this location was ideal, halfway between the city center and lake union. Gorgeous comfortable beds, tub, and view. Whole foods downstairs to grab a healthy dinner. I will be staying here from now on!
"Pan Pacific - Pan Seattle"
Centrally located Perfect service - completely available without being pushy Well appointed without being splashy or pretentious Just right
"perfect"
First time in Seattle. Walking is necessary wherever you stay so don't worry about downtown location as opposed to central. Service at Pan Pacific is exceptional! Town car makes any tourist attraction easily accessible and drink prices at the fancy bar were still reasonable for the city.
"Will be back"
The Pan Pacific was a wonderful hotel to stay at! The service was fantastic, every employee was genuine and was simply outstanding. Our room was comfortable, the bath tub was definitely a highlight of the room. The hotel is attached to Starbucks and a fantastic sushi restaurant, and Whole Foods. Couldn't be better. My stepson and his wife enjoyed the […] spa and I went to the salon across the street. Very safe and convenient location, plus the towncar service was a HUGE bonus. This hotel was a steal for the service received, we were there 5 days and can't wait to be back. Will absolutely stay there again next time we are in Seatle. Read more
"outstanding stay"
This hotel exceeded my expectations by far. I stayed there for my wedding week and they were so helpfull to get my wife to the venue with there personal truck that they have running. the guy came in early to accomadate us on our special day. all in all it was honestly the best stay at any place i have been to. definitely stay here
"Pan Pacific Great Choice"
Not knowing Seattle very well, we went to hotels.com to look for a place in the middle of all of the action. Pan Pacific is the place! Walking distance to the shopping district and Pike Place Market with several restaurants in between and a short car ride (provided by the hotel) to the Space Needle and Capitol Hill. Service was outstanding and the room […] was awesome! Read more
"Outstanding!"
This hotel offers above and beyond excellent customer service! Completely impressed with the immediate response for requests of staff, etc. Excellent qualtiy of food at the onsite restaurant. We utilized the valet service. Rooms are phenomenal; exceptional quality in all products. Highly Recommend!
"Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle-Beautiful Rooms"
Very friendly staff from the valet to room service. Speedy in meeting all requests, and the room was immaculate upon arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice in-town escape.
"Beautiful Hotel..Incredible Staff"
The Pan Pacific was beautiful and comfortable, but it was the staff that made the trip to Seattle magical. They bent over backwards to help with every little extra courtesy to make this Valentine's Day one we will never forget. Seriously. If you need something special done, don't hesitate to ask them. They are all too willing to make your stay one to […] remember for a lifetime. Read more
"Pan pacific, a very upscale hotel for the money!"
I highly recomend this hotel, beautiful rooms and excellent staff, after searching many hotels, this is by far THE BEST.
"Pan Pacific Seattle - Great service"
Excellent service and great location. within walking distance to great restaurants. Convenient fitness center/spa with ample room and equipment.
"Seattle Adventure --Pan Pacific"
This hotel was wonderful! The hotel is located on a small block of convenience. There is a little bit of everything close by. The room was very comfy and romantic. It had the necessity of a shower with the luxury of a large soaking tub. A sliding wall allowed for the impression of a bigger space opening the bathroom into the bedroom. The hotel staf […] was kind and and the valet was very knowledgeable of the surrounding area food spots and attractions. Read more

"Great place"
While I was only at this hotel for about 8-hours, I found it to be really clean, the service wonderful, the rooms comfortable and I had a great view of Space Needle.
"Pan Pacific Hotel is perfect place for Seattle"
My sister and I stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel in December of 2011. It is a beautiful botique style hotel that is located in downtown Seattle. It is decorated beautifully with lots of original art. It is very relaxing, even though the location is very central. We were there for the Guns N' Roses concert at the Seattle Center, and the hotel provided […] a free town car to the show for us. The rooms were well appointed and it was very clean. It is a luxurious property, and the staff was friendly and attentive to detail. Location is great, as you are so close to all downtown has to offer. The next morning we walked from the property to Christmas shop. I will definitely be back when I visit Seattle again as this property meets my every need! Read more
"Best hotel bathtub!"
Everything about our stay at the PanPacific Seattle was perfect - but the enormous comfortable bathtub made the stay outstanding. After a chilly day, tromping around in the rain, a good soak was wonderful.
"Beautiful hotel - wish it were a few blocks closer"
I was very impressed with this hotel. it was clean, comfortable, our bathroom was AMAZING with a big separate tub. The location is just a little too far from the things we like to do in Seattle. I would have liked to walk to Pike Place, etc and we ended up cabbing. A tip - the pizza place next door has horrible service and mediocre food. Go a little […] farther for something better. We wondered why the hotel staff didn't recommend it when we asked for something close - now we know! But the drink we had in the hotel bar was delicious. Read more
"Pan Pacific Seattle"
I really liked the bathroom at the Pan Pacific Seattle because it opens into the room so I can watch tv while taking a bath at the same time! We got the top floor room so the view was decent. We arrived on Christmas Day so everything was closed, but I would think it's a convenient location because there were a few stores (probably a supermarket too) […] just downstairs. I was totally surprised at the parking fee ($39/night!!!!) but luckily street parking was free on a holiday and the subsequent day. Otherwise, I think it may be tough to find street parking on a normal day. Read more

"Great service"
Great location. Only downfall is parking was a little expensive.
"Pan Pacific - Classy and comfy"
The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. The ambience was very pleasant. We were there on business but it would have been a great place for play too. Close to some great restaurants and not too far from the hot spots.

"Fantastic Pan Pac Property for Walkers"
Everything you've read about the Pac Pacific Seattle on TripAdvisor and Hotels.com is true. It is most definitely, 100% (1) an excellent service hotel with (2) fantastic bathrooms & beds and (3) a refreshing jaunt away from everything downtown. My wife and I visited for our anniversary and got a free room upgrade compliments of the sharp front desk […] agent and concierge, Joe (plus a $10 certificate for Sea Star restaurant downstairs which was wonderful). Coming off the red-eye from Honolulu at 6am, were were also extremely pleased that we were allowed to check in immediately rather than at 4pm - a whole extra day that saved our backs after a rough night on the plane. When the hotel's Director of Operations meets you at the front desk and gives you his personal card, you know they care about meeting guests' needs. The bed and bath are incredible. I liken the bed to the ones at the Westin Maui and Halekulani (Leading Hotels of the World); heavenly. Always put us right to sleep in minutes. The tub was a better soaking experience than even at ryokan and homes I've stayed at in Japan (and we both love love love Japanese baths). Along with the hotel's aesthetic, the design of the rooms and the service level was very Japanese, or pan-asian, if you prefer. It comes across as an Asian hotel, not an American one. I'd like to keep this our little secret but Seattle in late November was actually very pleasant. Small crowds everywhere we went and we obviously benefited from this at the hotel with our super early check-in and no-charge late checkout (2pm, thanks Kevin!). We had no trouble walking from the end of the LINK light rail at Westlake Center down to the hotel, suitcases in tow. If you must, a small tram runs from right in front of Westlake Center up to the hotel and on to Lake Union but we only rode this once on the way back to the airport as we were in a rush. Everyone mentions the Whole Foods downstairs but not Enterprise Rent-A-Car! We picked up a car there for nice Read more
"Pan Pacific Seattle - great location"
The one thing about staying at the Pan Pacific is the fact that WholeFoods is just down the stairs from the hotel. You can go to WholeFoods for a fast, great meal and much better coffee than you can either make in your room or get from Starbucks. We always stay at the Pan Pacific where not only the location is perfect for us but the room is always […] great. Read more
"had higher expectations for only pan pacific in US"
My wife and i stayed here during thanksgiving weekend 2011. The room was nice but did have some drawbacks. The major one was air leakage in our room. There was a beautiful view of the space needle from an angle bit during the night, coldness emanated from the window area despite use of curtains. I set the temperature at 71 during the nighttime but upon […] waking found room temp to be 62f to 63f every morning, which was very cold and also drying on my sinuses. Hotel didn't have a vaporizer/humidifier for use which is not surprising. They did offer an air purifier, which is useless, and did not offer anything that would help or change of room. Other things that should have been there, especially for this caliber hotel and price range: make up/shaving mirror, jets in tub, scale, better toiletries/amenities in bathroom (they could learn a lot from other hotels like fairmonts around the States or especially the Langham hotels around the world). Probably will not stay here again unless major upscaling is done. But they did have a beautifully decorated lobby and friendly staff. It was also nice to have Whole Foods nearby for snacks and drinks. Read more
"great bath tubs"
awesome bath tubs! my only qualm was that our room had no freezer for food and very little fridge space since it was shared with the mini bar.
"Excellence on every level"
Excellent service, Beautiful, well appointed suite, great location. We will chose Pan Pacific Seattle again.
"Excellent!"
I am staying here at least twice a year when on business in Seattle. Forgot my i-pad in the room this time and had to call back to see if it could be shipped somehow. Great service, very accomodating, device was sent out same day via FedEx to my next hotel. This is the place to stay when in Seattle.
"BETTER FOR MUCH LESS"
So, my wife and I planned a weekend away. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Bremerton and had a Fantastic room, view and time. That was Friday night. Saturday, we stayed at the Pan Pacific. Room was twice as much, the view in their "view" room sucked, and it was much smaller. Needless to say, we will never stay there again.
"PanPacific Hotel"
Very Nice. the only thing that would have made it better, was if the TV reception was better, was not high Def.

"Pan Pacific-most comfortable bed"
My wife and I only stayed for one night but it was the best. The Hotel was extremely clean NO BEDBUGS! they even vacuumed the couch! They have an extremely comfortable bed. A fully stocked mini bar, friendly service and good views of seattle. I would definitely stay again...5 STARS!!

Overall a nice hotel, but not in the best location. A bit of a hike to any of the sites (Pike's Place, stadiums). Probably would not stay here again if I came back to town.
"Great stay"
We loved the hotel - the service was wonderful, location superb. A great place to stay.
"Great hotel- but the parking is PRICEY!!!"
at $39/night for valet or $39/night for self park a few blocks away, it was a no brainer to do the valet, but $39? That was a bit of a surprise!!! It was HUGELY convenient having a Whole Foods right downstairs though!
"Highly recommended!"
What's not to like about the Pan Pacific? Great location, beautiful hotel, very attractive and comfortable room, extremely helpful staff. This will be my new regular hotel whenever I visit Seattle.
Very nice accomodations. Had a view to the Space Needle, which was nice. Nice to be right next to a Whole Foods Market and Starbucks. A little ways from downtown, but nothing more than a nice brisk walk. Would certainly stay again!
