Wonderful!!! Pleasantly surprised!!! We weren't too sure about staying so far from the airport but the free shuttle hooked us and it will keep us coming back because not only did they pick us up at the airport but they even took us to Back and forth from the movie theater and shopping complex for free as well!!! Who else would do that?!! Also, the place has been completely remodeled so it looked great and felt very comfortable all the way around. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel!!! We only the neighborhood four stars because it is 6 miles from the airport and is a tiny bit run down but not enough that you would feel comfortable by any means. Other than that, we give it 5 stars all the way!!!

Clearly put a lot of money into it recently. Modern locks, furniture. Plenty of electrical outlets. Professional staff. They missed the mark in some areas. Accidentally gave me someone else's room. And though they tried, the old smells of cigarette smoke in the room still lingered. Room a little cramped too.

Hotel seems mostly newly renovated. Beds Very Comfortable. Room First Class. Lighting in Room is too harsh though, otherwise Very Nice design to the rooms. Front Desk folks are wonderful. Managers though are surprisingly not as friendly. Breakfast is decent. Main Breakfast guy is super nice. Male workers working around the hotel were very respectful and cheery. Room Cleaners were fine as well.

I had read other reviews highly recommending the Kenilworth Inn so booked a room there. I was pleasantly surprised that it was even better than I had read about. Very clean, modern, friendly staff, free parking, and free breakfast. All this at a discount rate. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again in the future. You will be impressed with your room and service!

The Kenilworth has been renovated and it's quite lovely. Brand new beds, thick towels, great showers and good shampoo/conditioners. Breakfast is continental but they serve waffles.

Just lucked up and got this hotel room at the last minute on my way to Negril. Clean sheets, rooms were upgraded, and free shuttle services. The décor was very elegant, very nice and inviting front entrance. The staff went out of there way to make us feel at home, help with my 71year old mother's bags. I really want to thank the young shuttle driver who works here and has a part time job - he was awesome! He really made sure my mother and I felt at home! If I every go to Newark airport again I will stay here!

Our stay was most enjoyable. The Hotel is under the last phase of construction, however the rooms, lobby and restrooms were very clean. Also, the bartenders and chefs were very nice and the food was excellent. So was the entire staff very nice. We will stay here again.

Great rooms, nice staff. Only downside (which is barely a downside at all) is the fact that the breakfast is mediocre at best and the coffee is horrid. The only way to start the day is with a nice cup of coffee.

We liked the room very much. The front outside & lobby are very attractive, and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was on the Dar end of the first floor off an isolated parking lot. My daughter (age 13) described it as creepy, which scared her. Would not accept a room there again. Location behind a gas.station & A&P was not appealing. The "bar/lounge" was a joke. Kind of dingy. Drinks not great. Little food selection & it was mediocre. Popcorn machine was a nice touch.Overall location, off Parkway, was convenient. Overall - would stay there again, but not accept a first floor room & would not eat in the bar/lounge.

We had a handicap room that was perfect for us. The only thing i found missing was a mirror to see behind me when I was trying to style my hair. I don't travel with a large enough mirror to do that.

Room was clean and comfortable. Everything looked brand new. We couldn't find a snack or ice machine, but staff at the bar were very accommodating. We arrived late at night, so have no idea of the neighborhood other than a supermarket was right next door. Breakfast seemed a bit sparse, no hot foods other than toasted items or make-your-own waffles.

The hotel is still under construction but has the look and feel of a boutique hotel. It is very comfortable and when it is completed has the porential to be a best kept secret. I have stayed there multiple times over the past two months because of it's comfort and value. The newly added cafe/pub is another perk for business travelers.

This hotel is rated 3 but should surely be rated a 5 star. The hotel is very clean. Staff very friendly AND efficient. the rooms are very welcoming, the beds make you want to take the mattress home. One very important item to note is the quietness of the room, as though you are the only guest there. I will stay again soon. My new favorite getaway.

The renovated rooms are attractive, comfortable and clean, with excellent lighting. The breakfast is not fancy but fresh and tasty. The waffle maker is a real plus. The location, very near the Garden State Parkway and an easy walk to an A&P, is excellent.Try to get a room a good distance from the door to the staircase; if your room is near the staircase door, you can hear it open and shut every time someone uses the stairs. The Kenilworth Inn is good value for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

I thought the room looked great and was very comfortable and the staff was extremely nice. The price was good for the area. It was not that convenient for me but I think it would be fantastic for anyone traveling on the gateway.

I really liked the hotel and have, infact, scheduled two more business stays. It is under rennovation, and there is no elevator which does not affect me but may be deter others. With that being said, it is conveniently located near Newark Airport, has ammenities, including a grocery store in close proximity, and feels very homey and CLEAN. I had to book here because all of the Hilton hotels were booked. When all was said and done, I was very pleased.

We stayed at Kenilworth while visiting our daughter and son-in-law for the birth of their baby. Hotel is about 7 miles from hospital and convenient to get to. Hotel is newly remodeled and very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast as well which was so handy trying to get to hospital as quick as possible in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

I'm doing some renovations in my home and needed a place to stay while the bathrooms were being tiled. The Kenilworth Inn was a few miles from my home and a little more upscale then the other hotels I looked into. The staff was courteous and had everything I asked for ready in advance. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was that I had to go down to the lounge to have dinner.

The hotel is still under renovation so now elevator for ease of access to different floors. There is a strong scent, not horribly odiforous but strong none the less, in the main lobby and hallway but the rooms are immpeccable, the beds are AMAZING!, and the staff is very eager to make your stay comfortable and focus solely on you. I'm looking forward to staying again when the renovation is complete!!

I enjoyed the stay except for the smell in the lobby and hall. I thought that was very unprofessional not to make mention before the stay. The employees could not have been nicer. i would add bathrobes, slippers and make up mirror to all rooms.

The hotel was very nicely updated and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast due to a late checkout which was wonderful. This hotel will be first on my list when I stay up in the area!

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in Roselle Park on Labor Day weekend. Since we live down the shore, this hotel seemed like a great choice for us to stay at for the night. We were very pleasantly surprised at the beauty fo the room. I think the hotel was newly renovated, and they did an amazing job. The room was decorated to give you the feeling of being in someone's home instead of a hotel. The hotel was very clean, the hotel staff was so friendly.and very accomodating. I requested early check in -- and they were able to accomodate us. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for folks that are looking for a place to stay for flights going out of Newark AIrport... the hotel is just a hop skip and jump away.

Had a little wait for shuttle, due to inexperienced shuttle driver, but all turned out well. Friendly and apologetic desk person, "upgraded" my room, which was large, comfortable and quite elegant. Hotel is about 30 min from EWR but in a lovely quiet neighborhood. There is a large supermarket next door, and I purchased a beautiful make-it-yourself salad to eat in the room. Breakfast was quite nice, and return to airport (booked in advance) was efficient and personal. All staff were pleasant and helpful

Room was very clean but a little cramped with our two kids. There was no elevator at the time. staff was great and surrounding area was nice. Right next to a very large market place. Breakfast was underwhelming.

They did a nice job updating this hotel and it looks pretty cool in the lobby and in the room. The free breakfast was nothing special, and had no hot food, but it was okay. When they had the donuts, that was the best. The room was very nice and seemed recently updated. Beds were comfy, a nice chair, great bathroom, and recessed lighting. There are places where it seems like the hotel is still working on things. Like we had a cabinet in our bathroom that wasn't put together properly, and it was more difficult than it should be to get on the wireless network. But the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay.

Well, I usually stay at nicer hotels. I stayed at the Kenilworth Inn cause it was convenient. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating especially Nicole at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable. I've gotten a lot worse for A LOT more money. I would stay there again.

I plan a little get away for me and my girlfriend for our birthday nothing special just some time alone where know one knew where we are. We were both shocked and surprised by the hotel it's a beautiful location the room was amazing. We both work in hotels and manyly only stay at our brand hotels but we will be back for sure great service and the young lady working on Aug 10 afternoon shift was amazing would love to steal her

Very nice for the price and location. Great rooms. Great staff. Make sure you get a ground level room because hotel doesn't have an elevator. Had to lug 3 large bags upstairs.

The stay was very comfortable. All staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is newly renovated and parts are still in the makeover. The fitness area was not finished yet and the only downside of breakfast was that there were no eggs served. Overall it was a great and convenient stay

This hotel is very different from the outward appearance as well as its title. It must have gone through an amazing renovation because when we were inside our hotel room, it felt like a boutique hotel! Everything was brand new, lots of power outlets and usb plugs, and a Keurig coffee maker in the room!! All the decors were very up to date and clean! We loved it!!
