Awesome! Instead of getting 2 hotel rooms, this 2-bedroom/2-bath condo worked out much better AND was a better price. Easy access to a beautiful beach.

Pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. Very close to the beach. Units are very clean and well maintained. Very quiet past 9pm (great for families with young kids). No complaints whatsoever.

Sanibel Arms West is kept up very nice with a great deal of room. We had a family of 6 and the condo was very spacious. The location is right on the beach and there are bike trails every where. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this condo to anyone.

The office staff at this establishment are incompetent at best. I truly hope they they do not make more than minimum wage because that is the level at which they perform. The wrong key was in our envelope when we arrived for late check in. Even though the office did apologize and follow their protocol, in my opinion their protocol stinks and the proof […] is they can't figure out what key to put in what envelope. You must absolutely upgrade to a Beachfront unit if you can but all the units in the resort are steps from the beach. The only advantage to Beachfront is the spectacular view. We loved the location. It was easy to get around the Island. Would have loved to stay longer. Looking forward to a return visit.

Every bed was so cheap and old that we were unable to sleep well. The kitchen had no light and the refrigerator ice makers weren't even attached to the water. I was very disappointed in this condo.

Beautiful condo with beach front, very quiet. The only negative point is the beach that disappears almost completely depending on the tides, and at these times, it can be very crowded. The chemicals in the pool are very aggressive (too much) Nice wildlife just in front of the rooms (snakes, rabbits, birds,...)

Great place to stay for families and couples. Right on the beach and and unit very well stocked. Only draw back was early check out time-10 am, and no beach or pool towels. The view was beautiful and the Staff excellent The unit did need some work on plumbing issues Such as faucets dripped and leaked. Sheets in guest bedroom We're torn and had holes on linens. But overall a great place. You need to remember they are owned by individuals not solely by the mansgèment.

The location was great and the condo was spacious for a family of 5. It appears to be an older complex, but very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. There is a supermarket (Jerry's) nearby. Though a bit pricey, nice service. Once you are done shopping, they will deliver your groceries to your car. The screened porches […] were very enjoyable and just a short walk to the screened pool or the beach. They have beach chairs available for use . My only suggestion would be a newer mattress in the master bedroom and a newer area rug in the living room. Otherwise, would definitely return again! We had a few days to sneak away, and chose the Sanibel Arms West. The pool was nice and warm. Access to the beach was steps away. The property was well maintained. The unit was a little dated, but had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Misrepresented as "Gulf View" but there was NO possible way to see Gulf from the unit. Kitchen pots & pans were terrible and not very clean, the coffee maker was substandard. Unit was NOT ready by 3 PM check-in time, while we had many groceries to pack away ... and the internet was down the first 2 days. This is a great place, quiet, right on the gulf. We had a gulfside unit which had the most beautiful view from the screened-in lanai. The unit was very clean and had pretty modern kitchen and baths, and a washer dryer. (units are indiv owned so are not exactly the same). Kitchen well stocked with pots/dishes etc, but you have to buy all food, saran, […] etc. We went with our 2 yo, and through island rentals we had a crib, high chair and bucket of beach toys waiting when we arrived. This is an easy place to take young children. Their beach is not crowded at all, you can walk for miles. The pool is heated which is nice on cooler days. Two main markets on island although both nice are pricey, along drive from Ft Myer's airport are many grocery stores (publix, winn-dixie) so could stock up before crossing onto island to save money. We had a wonderful time at SAW. The two bedroom condo was spotless when we arrived. The grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately there was red tide in the water and fish were washed up all along the shore. We were not sure why these fish were not being removed from the beaches in front of the hotels and lighthouse/pier location. However, we had fun shelling […] every morning as the sun rose. We biked the island every day and did not use our rental car as once you are there you can bike to anywhere. My husband used the dock area behind the office to fish each day. Location was right on the beach, good beach access with few people. Pool was nice and clean and overall the entire facility was family friendly. The condo was fine, only draw back was the unit we stayed in (B3) had uncomfortable beds. The master bedroom should be replaced.

Our condominium was very clean, modern, fully equipped and steps to the ocean. We shopped at the market down the street and only went out to dinner once on the other Coast! It's a great hotel. Easy to get to from the causway without having to travel the lenght of the island. If You fish you could walk,drive or ride your bike to the pier The staff was excelent, and they made renting bikes (I rented for the week) easy. If you want a great vacation ths is the place to go. Sanibel Arms West is a very clean, tidy property. Beach access was excellent and neighborhood was attractive and convenient. Property was very quiet (nice!) from about 9 p.m. until a reasonable hour of the morning. Architecturally uninteresting (unit was basically a box), but noticeably larger than most vacation condos we have rented. Unit was extremely […] clean and well-stocked, including things we didn't expect, such as beach towels, plastic wrap, vacuum cleaner (lots of sand with two kids) and a cooler. Grounds were as neat as the condo - well-kept and not a thing out of place. Laundry facility had unusually large number of machines and there was no waiting to use them. Only suggestion for improvement is that the bedding was worn out and pillows and mattresses were old and not as comfortable as they should have been. Outdoor pool was pleasant but overheated. This was the second stay for us. The condo's are clean and well equiped. The washer dryer come in handy, specially when you you travel with kids. We only took carry-on luggage for the week. Our condo was exceptionally clean. We were not facing the beach but didn't have far to walk. The pool is a bit small and the often-unused clubhouse next to it gave the pool area a slightly dismal feel. The first three to four days of our stay we could not get our hands on a beach chair since weekend groups had taken all of them and kept them.
