Quality Inn Petaluma

Very thin walls. Arrived late had to park on the street. Good value for price compared to surrounding hotels. Very busy because of this. A bit difficult to find.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was good and more than we expected! It was not just muffins, cereal, and cold hard boiled eggs. The pool was heated and our son enjoyed swimming on a cool day. They truly will give you what you need if you forget it. Where we had a problem was with how loud the fan was. They upgraded the usual AC to a controlled […] system and you can only have the fan on high. That meant a loud fan on and off all night, or just a loud fan all night. The hotel smelled terribly of cows. I don't know if there were fields or a stockyard nearby, but it was pretty bad. The thermostat was also really confusing. You have to cycle though different modes ( cooling, heating, etc) in order to change the temperature. We were very pleased with our inside accommodations, especially since the exterior of the motel reeked of animals. Some cleaning of the stairs to the rooms and some designation of a grassy patch for animals would help. The breakfast was very nice and the workers were excellent.

Very pleased with The Quality Inn in Petaluma. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options for hot, cold and fresh breakfast foods.

loved petaluma, room had plenty of space for our bags and ourselves.....we easy to navigate to places we wanted to visit, we lucked out with the weather....so in all a great trip and the only hotel drawback was we were on the 2nd floor and had a lot of luggage to drag up the stairs, also, people who smoked often did so down at the bottom of the stair […] case, so it was a little smelly and they left all their butts on the ground!! We stayed a week here in Petaluma so that could visit family and tour the area. The management at this hotel excels in service and hospitality. We travel with our pet and they made sure we had a great room with easy access to take our dog out in the evenings. Our room was lovely, the place is conveniently located off the 101 yet very quiet and on a […] street with minimal traffic. Breakfast at the hotel is nice, there are many places to walk all around even near a nice nature walking trail. Our son stayed there for 2 weeks a little over a year ago while waiting for his apt to be ready for move in and he told us it was the perfect place to stay in Petaluma. The hotel room was very dated and shabby. For the high cost, we expected more for the money. Motel 6 is probably it's equal and alot cheaper. It was the only room available in the area though so we booked it since it was well rated. It was decently clean and quiet though. Had a coffee maker which is always a good thing.

Bldg #6 is too close to freeway so noisy unless window is closed. Breakfast area too small for the amount of people. Restaurants and Starbucks nearby. 10 min drive to Old Town Petaluma.

Good value. Clean, spacious rooms. Quality service. Good complementary breakfast. Pool, work out room. Those are the good things. Bad things: Consistent problems with room card keys not working. Location at edge of industrial park not ideal, though just a block off US 101. This a three star hotel with 2 star pricing.

This hotel is a very good value. My room was towards a parking lot of another business and there was a loud noise that would come on for about 15 minutes, turn go off then turn back on again. But with the windows closed and the fan on I couldn't hear it.

Room wasn't as comfortable as expected. I, admitablity, slept through the free breakfast, but this motel isn't anything special. I found yogurt and sunblock in the room, presumably from a previous guest. It is close by convient stores without being too close, you also can't hear the freeway.
