Very nice hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Confidently close to bus depot if you want to take side day trip. But unfortunately it is a long 20 min walk to the heart of the city. Doing it once or twice would be fine, but more than that it is rough.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the room was very comfortable and included the expected amenities for a hotel of this category. The views of the Concha bay were great from our room and the staff was always willing to assist us with our requests. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Sebastian.

Had a brief stop over in Biarritz before heading back to the States. The Oxo is a perfect location to access Biarritz by foot. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. From everything from umbrellas to bags for a damp wetsuit. If you surf, they have a place to store your board. You can reach both breaks in town by foot. The hotel provides a nice breakfast buffet, however, if you are like me and want to experience the local flavor there are some great places under five minutes from the hotel. Viennoiserie is open early by 7:30am for pastry. Le Coupole Cafe for petit dejeuner. Los Dos Hermanos next to the hotel is also a great place to grab a Basque dinner. The bartender seems to be a bit of a local attraction. A true showman behind the bar. Communal tables, sangria, and very large portions. If you are solo, you might want to skip the appetizer. My one and only complaint at the hotel would be the bath products. At the end of a trip when you are running low, It would be nice to have a complete variety of product available... forgo the shoe shine brush for some conditioner. If you are a couple, ask about the room size. The room I stayed in was a double, but it would be small for a couple with luggage. The hotel is very clean and very functional. It's a great base for a few days. Location, service and all your basic comforts. A great value for a great little hotel! I would highly recommend the Oxo.

Certainly NOT a four star hotel, but has tons of room and cooking facilities and a big fridge. I very much enjoyed my stay. BIG NOTE: they do not have... "laundry facilities". This would suggest that they have self-laundry on site, which is non-existent in France and I was a bit surprised about when I read it. However, should you need, there is a self-serve laundrymat about 150 meters away open until 9PM. Hint: take a left on Av. Our room was very suitable to the familiy (2 adults and 2 kids). The bunk bed area looked small, but our kids loved it very much for their private space. The acess from the hotel to the beach and the restaurant area was quite easy. We really recomment this hotel.

We were very satisfied and thought it good value at the rate we paid in March as Biarritz accommodation can be expensive. Limited staffing hours on reception may be an issue for some who need assistance/information but was not for us, but we do travel often in France and can get by in French. La única pega es que la recepción no sea 24 horas y que tenga horario partido (de 7 a 12 y de 14 a 20 o algo así). Además la habitación hay que abandonarla a las 10 am como muy tarde. Un hôtel trés bien situé en centre ville et proche de tout.Le parking de l'hôtel n'est pas trés facile d'accés et certainement sous-dimensionné (il faut penser à réserver). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Le personnel est trés aimable et serviable. Les chambres sur la rue sont certes un peu bruyantes.

Hotellet som sådant är relativt enkelt, men det ligger väldigt centralt med närhet till livsmedelsbutik, stadens centrum och stranden - allt på gångavstånd. Hotellets starka sida är definitivt personalen som ger väldigt bra service och är mycket trevliga.

Den enda nackdelen var att hoteller var låst när vi kom fram mitt på dagen. Vi fick ringa ett nummer som stod på dörren för att få en kod för att komma in. Detta kunde vi ha blivit informerade om innan.

un 4 étoiles, sans double vitrage, chaise déboitée et sans canal+, passe encore même si cela mérite 1 etoile de moins. Mais les murs comme du papier et l'absence de feutrine sous les chaises et les tables ne permettent pas la cohabitation avec des familles bruyantes ou des gens mal élevés. Pour information, cet hotel héberge les serveurs du café de […] paris (meme groupe) qui terminent leur service à 23h00, arrive dans les chambres à minuit et prennent leur douche, parlent, rient et plaisantent fort sans se soucier des environs (des clients "payants"). Résultat : malgré la gentillesse des hotesses à l'acceuil, 6h de sommeil en 2 nuits (déplacement professionnel) MERCI. Pour l'hotel, la perte de ma clientèle, soit 45 nuits/an sur biarritz DOMMAGE. Die Zimmer sind sauber, hell und erstaunlich geräumig. Das Hotel hat eine gute zentrale Lage. Man kommt zu Fuß in 5 min an die Uferpromenade und an mehreren Lokalitäten vorbei. Die Parkplatzsituation ist gut. Man kann sowohl die kostenpflichtige Hoteltiefgarage nutzen oder die kostenpflichtigen Parkplätze in der Straße direkt vor dem Hotel.
