this was a nice two day getaway. my dad and i arrive early and was checked in promptly even though we were about two hours early for the hotels posted check in time. we were upgraded to an oceanfront room for a minimal fee and the view was spectacular. the room service was nice and discreet and really the overall experience was pleasurable. i will definitely be staying at the sea crest again soon.

"Bamboozled"
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at! The pictures (taken in 1983) lured me in and do not reflect the quality of the hotel. Very run down and in bad need of a renovation. Not worth the money spent... Pros: Service and staff were nice.

"Suite accommodations at hotel rates"
The rooms had a freshness and cleanliness you typically would expect only in new resorts. The ocean side location is only minutes from shopping and a round of golf. Even with a late arrival, the staff was friendly and informative.
"Wonderful"
Price was great, stay was great, customer service was excellent. I have already referred my family and friends for their next stay in Myrtle Beach.
