It was very pleasant. The room was clean the bed was very comfort. But the only thing a can suggest that needs to be fix or up date is the air conditioner in the room I was, it was too noisey. But other than that it was very good and I will stay again next year or sooner.

Not acceptable. I had a 2 night reservation in a room with 2 queen beds. The air conditioner did not work and the temperature if the room is controlled by the front desk control! We had to move to another room with one bed only.We were sleeping when a man working on the air conditioner knocked at the door to tell us he could not fix it. The following […] morning we moved again to a room with 2 beds. The air conditioner worked! Of the three rooms we were in, only one remote for the TV worked. The second night was very noisy. Needless to say, I did not get any rest there and I was there to compete in a race. I went to the event tired and lacking good rest. I liked the history of the old building and location, but I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to others. Read more

We used this hotel as a base for site seeing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Really nice pool. The room was a little small for a king size bed. We didn't eat at the restaurant so no comment on that but it looked nice. It's on a main road but minimal traffic at night. Very Quiet.

If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, definitely I recommend it. Quiet place, huge lake, nice pool, TV, small refrigerator, microwave, excellent air conditioner, laundry mat at the first floor. Really nothing to see in the neighborhood, only the lake. If you want to go to the beach, you will need a car. You will see more than 10 beautiful beaches, […] no more than 10 to 15 minutes driving. Definitely you have to visit Gilligan Island, it's a must. Bioluminescent Bay about 25 minutes driving. Their Restaurant has excellent food; also Burger King, Mc Donald, Pizza Place and supermarket only 3 minutes from the hotel. Excellent Staff, always willing to help. My wife and I had planned a 20 year anniversary trip to Puerto Rico. Our intention was to stay in my parents home which is vacant. Unfortunately my parents home was not livable as we have had some recent damage caused by weather. We decided to go anyway and looked for a reasonably priced hotel. I have made many many trips to the Island . I am Puerto […] Rican and speak "spanglish". I know the Island well and can get around easily by car with my "spanglish skills". We were looking for a quiet and romatic getaway. This hotel seemed like it had some possibilities. If you are looking for a resort,this is not it but if you are looking for a nice very quiet place to stay, in this area, here it is. If you are a high maintenance person, don't go there.We were there early November. My wife and I loved it. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The view of the bay was beautiful. They have a small restaurant that was perfect for breakfast. The other meals were just average. We enjoyed breakfast every morning then headed out to the beach. The hotel room was very clean and cool. It had a new air conditioning system that worked great. It has an old world feeling with it's high ceilings, colorful walls and tile floors. The bathroom was updated nicely. The room had a small refrigerator, a microwave and a small table with two chairs. The hotel is off of highway 116. This highway will get you to a few surrounding sights. They are all not really close but the drives are pleasant. We strongly recommend navigation. A few places to see. The town of San German with the old church Porta Coeli. In Lajas, La Parguera with the Bio-Luminescant Bay. You can rent boats there and go boating through the mangroves, really cool. About one half hour east is Ponce. They have a Casino at the Holiday Inn. While we were there we also headed to San Juan for a one night stay. Charming old style hotel in beautiful area. However, terrible smell in the room and poor plumbing detracted from the experience. The maintenance staff did try their best to remedy the problems.
