It wasn't as bad as I was expecting on arrival. Although there are some wicked shady characters around/living at this place the room wasn't that bad. The hotel was conveniently located to many department stores and restaurants, so the location was great. The room was clean and nicely decorated, although the bathroom is in need of some major updates. No plug in bathroom for hairdryer, need more shelves in bathroom (no where to store shampoos, toothpaste, toothbrush, and makeup). Mattress was a bit […] worn and only two pillows. I stayed at the hotel the night before I ran a marathon in Providence, RI. At first it seemed ideal because it was only 10 mins away from the starting line of the race but I was sadly mistaken. The occupants in the room next door had their tv on the highest volume all night and I kept hearing a funny clicking/ banging noise too. When I called the management […] office about this they told me that they've issues with the occupant in the past. They could also hear the clicking noise over the phone and advised me to secure the room using the dead bolt lock. When management went to the room they told the occupant to someone had complained about the tv volume and they acted as if they were miffed about the complaint. I was a bit apprehensive when I pulled around back to see my room as this is a motel, not hotel, with a room key, not swipe card. I stay at this hotel a lot. First room I was given that was not wonderful. Had a room right next to Ice machine which meant foot traffic all night. Only other sour note was the shower water never could get hot which was a disappointment.

When we got there they had reserved a smoking room with one double bed. When I booked it, I thought a double had 2 double beds plus the fact that it was a smoking room made it really uncomfortable. We wont stay there in the future.

The hotel manager was nice when I checked in and also helped us with some things to see in the area and also helped us with the bus system. But this room was DIRTY. I had to come in and clean it myself to even be able to stay. The shower curtain had disgusting stains, I just took it down.
