I loved most the quietness of the hotel and,of course,their continental breakfast.There was an issue with the doors key not operating at times but hotel management explained to me that the key was simply too sensitive to be kept with other magnetic cards such as credit cards.Overall the hotel is simply a wonderful place to stay.I have no serious complaints.I enjoyed my stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites.

I had a very good experience with this hotel. Flat-screen tv was a definite plus. It was comfortable and I would stay there again.

The airconditioning, a very basic and necessary need in the summer, failed to cool my room below 78 degrees (I am a meteorologist and had a high-grade thermometer with me). This made everything uncomfortable. I was moved to another room- and the air was virtually the same. Given the price, the lack of room service was surprising. I was directed to order from the local pizza chain. Really?! The pizza chain? Really?! The desk clerk kindly insisted on calling a cab for me. What a racket. $55 one way from the hotel to a destination 5 miles away. I was told of the price while we were on the highway and asked if I agreed. A bit too late to say no. Any half decent hotel will not call you a sketchy cab - very disappointing. Overall, the employees, the guests, the ambiance, etc. was a very "white trash" experience.

many pet friendly hotels are ment for the dogs!!!!!!! it was nice to stay in a hotel ment for people.i have two small dogs that are very well behaved and i am consious of the other guests and maybee there desire to avoid them.there is a back entrance to the hotel and offices and warehouses around the hotel so you can take your dog for a nice long walk in the morning.the rooms were spacios,modern and very well kept.A+++++

We were very happy with our stay. La Quinta has nice features that made our 4 day stay there more convenient--fridge, microwave, nice washer/dryer, free breakfast (love the waffle maker), big TV. The only drawback was no pool, but we knew that going into it. We stayed there 3 years ago and were pleased (it was brand new). Will stay there next time.

If you've never spent a night in a hotel that allows pets, you may not want to stay here. Also, if it's crowded, be sure not to get stuck with a smoking room (like we did). Breakfast was ok - standard cereals, breads, waffles, but no pastries or eggs available that I could find. Coffee was weak. very nice, new hotel though

Very friendly staff. Provided van shuttles to and from local restaurants and the train station. The hotel is new - very clean and comfortable. The breakfast nook added a plus.

Even though we had booked a non-smoking room weeks in advance, there wasn't one available when we arrived. I wasn't convinced an ionizer took care of changing a smoking room into a non-smoking room either. So, we were placed into a handicap room and enjoyed the overnight stay. Accomodations were good and we enjoyed the stay once we got through the "preliminary" round at the front desk.

we booked this hotel anticipating a late flight arrival at mac arthur airport on long island. it's a chain so we knew what to expect as far as comort, quality, etc. didn't know anything about the area since it was just a stop over on the way to manhattan. nothing to do around this hotel but that was ok since we arrived at like, 9:30pm. BEST THING EVER though, is that they have a FREE shuttle that will pick you up at the airport (call the front desk) and take you anywhere within 4 miles (restaurants, LIRR, etc) as a courtesy. we were able to get dinner and drinks at a restaurant instead of ordering takeout. super nice and helpful staff. complimentary breakfast (i love a hotel w/a waffle maker!), a workout room, spa, etc. this place was actually much nice than where we ended up staying in manhattan!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is the nicest I have been at in a while, and I travel often. The room is large and very clean. The bathroom is clean and big. The hotel was well kept and clean. The free breakfast was good and had a fair amount of choices.mIt is one I will stay at again.

I have stayed at La Quinta before and plan and staying there again in the future. Their staff is always kind, courteous and go above and beyond. They have a clean and inviting gym as well as one of the best spa rooms I've seen in a hotel. I have and will continue to recommend this hotel again and again.

The only complaint would be occassional noise. The walls are a little thin and as such I could hear both hall noises and voices from the next room.

This hotel seems new. I forgot to ask, but it looked new. Quiet, although very close to the airport. A free shuttle picked us up from Long Island Railroad and took us to a restaurant for dinner and took us to the airport in the morning. Decent breakfast served.

I spent 3 nites at the hotel - the spa was a perk. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Room was quiet (I stayed on 4th floor). I will definitely stay at this hotel should I be in the area. Also, the breakfast bar was more than I expected - thank you for a memorable stay.

Was on a weekend trip to the quaint nearby town of Sayville (less than two miles) and spent many hours in the hotel. Unlike most hotels i stay at, this time i seemed to spend more time in the lobby and lounge areas as they are well maintained and exceptionally inviting. Wireless internet throughout the building was a delight... fast and free!

Everything was clean and well taken care of, the breakfast was very good and the waffels were just about perfect...it allowed us to start each day with a great continental breakfast and go off to do our sightseeing....and a not on the breakfast was good quality food and untensils.... The room was spacious and clean and all of our party was very satified..... One note...they have a large hot tub that was not listed, so we didn't bring our bathing suits, which we wished we had.... Please note this availaiblty, along with a nice exercise room with TV....

Convenient for needs; better than average complimentary breakfast. Lousy service at front desk regarding short-circuited and sparking blowdryer - After two days of asking for replacement, had one shoved through door with barely a word at midnite.
