Pleasant hotel in the middle of nowhere. You need a GPS or good map to access it. Everything is brand new and staff is professional. Comfortable room and huge bathroom. Good wifi directly in the room. Breakfast was good (fresh local products are showcased)

The whole experience of being in Lecce was enhanced by stayiing in that beautiful historic building with vaulted ceilings. The hosts were gracious, made us dinner reservations at a restaurant we wouldn't have missed, and the location couldn't have been better.

The old part or historic center of Gallipoli is quite small so I would recommend just 1-2 days here. Parking near the hotel is difficult.

To be right on the "island " of Gallipoli is a step back in time. No worry about noise, the building is built like a castle. Staff was wonderful and you have a fridge stocked with drinks. Couldn't have asked for better. Would have loved to stay longer!
