Lovely property. Staff at all levels is friendly, courteous and attentive. Food at all the outlets was very good. Jerk Center is tops for anywhere in Jamaica. Visit White Witch before dark to take in the views. Not much beach but large pool and seemingly ample chairs at all locations.

Excellent service and grounds. very well kept and maintained. Will caution that the charges for everything is steep and in accordance with the level of hotel service. The food is not up to par though except for the breakfast and the "Jerk Bar".

The Ritz at Jamaica is wonderful. My wife and I keep coming back to this hotel because of the fabulous staff, accommodations, and tropical environment. We love it so much, we've actually stayed there 3 different times in 2012. We always return home refreshed and rejuvenated. We're already looking forward to returning in 2013.

Experience was wonderful (my second time going)! The Escape to Luxury package is the way to go (all-inclusive). The food is excellent and the beverages are too! They have Miller Lite and premium liquors. It was my husband's birthday and they made it special. They had a banner and balloons in the room when we arrived. They also had a special dessert […] for him. They even upgraded our room to a suite. It is a smaller resort than the Beaches, etc. so children may not have as much fun (no slides). The White Witch Restaurant is a great dinner option. Make sure you find out which nights it is open. The Spa is wonderful too!! I don't play golf, but they say the course is the best on the island. The most notable part of our stay was the awesome service from everyone of the staff. The check-in was quick at the airport lounge.The shuttle we used was JCAL ($70 roundtrip for family of 4). We were greeted immediately upon arrival at Ritz. All staff gets to know your name. Each meal was prepared and presented exquisitely. The fitness area was great each morning for my workouts. The mens spa area has a nice steam room, sauna, showers, a cold plunge pool and a relaxation/meditation area. Nice, clean locker area to change. My teenage kids appreciated that we had free wi-fi in our room and many other areas. We also rented a DVD and player for one night. I really enjoyed the morning breakfasts with their singer/guitar player. (Robert) Great voice and very talented! Dinner had piano player and soloist. (Loved her voice!) Their beach is very small and rocky. We never stayed at the beach, only by the pool. We even had lunch delivered to us while we relaxed poolside. They have no stage for nightly entertainment. The nightly entertainment was in their small lounge area - starting at 9pm. We would have appreciated more of a stage show with nightly entertainers or a house band playing so we could dance. The staff at the Ritz could not be more accomodating! they were wonderful and gracious at every turn. The facilities are beautiful. Perfect for a romantic getaway for my husband and me. We loved the kayaking and sailing at the beach.

I don't know where to start. From the moment I arrived at the the airport until the time I departed, the customer service was simply amazing. The staff was very pleasant and patient. There were a variety of activities to choose from daily and the food was delicious. Overall this was equivalent to a more moderate-typically nice hotel, such as the Hilton hotels (who I am loyal to), but falling below the expectations of what the Ritz should be. Upon arrival we discovered the mini-fridge had not been turned over after the last guests, as there were open, half-drank drinks, and we were not aware of what other items […] were not even present. Upon notifying the hotel, they did not even come in to then ensure all items were present and new. The ice bucket was also dirty. The other disappointment was in the food, as all of their restaurants' food was average tasting at best, while the cost was of course at the Ritz standard (very high); we would have been happy to pay the higher prices for a good tasting or thoughtful/artistic meal, but this was not the case. As a result, we ate at outside restaurants or went next door to Half Moon resort's convenience store in order to have better meals (the local food in town was amazing!, not to mention very well priced). Overall our experience was nice, due to the relaxing nature of the pool and beach area of the resort, but this could have been obtained at most of the other hotels in the area, I am sure. They also mark absolutely everything up, purely as a Ritz fee, for example a diet coke was $7.50, and all off-site activities were marked up by the Ritz itself, not by the activity companies or island, which should not be the goal of a high end resort like the Ritz. My family and I just got back from Jamaica 2 days ago. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall and I just wanted to share some of the wonderful experiences we had during our stay. From the moment we landed and was directed to their private lounge at the airport was so stress free, Then we were aken to the resort and was greeted with Champagne, our room […] key, wristband for the all inclusive, and the bellman waiting for us to take us to our room, we felt so amazed. We ate at all of the restaurants at the resort and the food was incredible. We were also lucky to have been part of Jamaica celebrating their 50th year and the activities/festivities at the resort was outstanding. Most of all the service was excellent. Their employees are trained so well, that I cant’ thank them enough for all their hard work for making us happy. Again, thank you so much for making our trip so memorable.
