"Staying one night"
Nice hotel if you want to hear what the room next to you are saying. Walls to thin. Clean hotel and close to the beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for the beach"
This hotel was clean, rooms were a good size and it's near the beach. Lots of restaurants within 2 blocks. What more could you want?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Budget Hotel"
This is a great "budget" hotel in downtown rehoboth. The location is fabulous -- just one block from the beach. The front desk is well staffed and plenty of parking. The rooms are a bit dated, but not too bad, espeically for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Except for the rain it was most enjoyable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice service, good location but ...."
First, let me say the service was fantastic. Everyone was so helpful, responsive and nice. All good qualities. The hotel had some nice features - such as a pool and adjoining sundeck. I loved the fact that they had laundry facilities and that they lent out chairs, umbrellas, and towels. However, I felt the price was too stiff for the level of comfort […] and quality of the beds. Our bed creaked....yes, creaked, when we rolled over, and the spreads were clean but low quality. This was not a "heavenly bed" with nice comforters and pillows. The sheets were decent, but just not up to what I would expect for the price. Where we lay our head at the end of the day is important. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Enjoyed our stay. Loved having a suite gives plenty of room for eating and relaxing beyond bedroom. Thank you for providing towels, chairs and umbrella. Only downside was strong smell of cigarette in lobby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great price and location!"
Hotel was 2 minute walk from the beach. Rooms were clean and huge! Bathroom looked recently updated. Provided free beach towels and chairs upon request. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Brighton Suites Hotel"
We were very pleased with this hotel. It is only one block from the boardwalk and beach, convenient to many of the good restaurants Rehoboth has to offer. Parking is included, a nice plus. The room offers a separate living room in case someone wants to sleep early or late with another tv and dvd player. The one drawback is that its easy to hear what's […] going on in the next room but, the good points far outweigh this one inconvenience Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
What a dissappointment! People having parties in the halls, heating system was so loud we could not sleep, and we could hear the people talking in the room next door. Great location, but a Hotel room is for sleep after all!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great intro to Rehoboth"
The Brighton Suites wasn't our first choice, but we're very glad we ended up there. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel this probably isn't the place for you. However "JJ" the night manager was a great source of info--restaurants, local lore, history, the works. We feel that we more than got our money's worth for what he shared. The hotel might not […] be great, but the hotel connection was. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

My family has stayed at Brighton Suites for the past 5 years, due to it's suite size, location, and accessibility to a shower/bathrooms during early check-in and late check-out. However this summer, my wife, son, and daughter all contracted a bacterial infection (doctor's diagnosis - RWI) from their indoor pool. They were in the pool for only 30 minutes, but that was enough to get infected. After a few complaints from us and another guest, the hotel drained and cleaned the pool. However, it's unacceptable for this to happen in the first place, especially during the summer months when they have a large staff. Brighton Suites were not very forthcoming with making amends, so that is why I'm turing to trip advisor. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.
"Unexpected gem of a hotel!"

Having seen so many people on TripAdvisor give really crummy reviews of this hotel, I didn't expect to enjoy being at the Brighton Suites. The hotel was clean, the staff were unbelievably friendly, and the location was incredibly convenient to everywhere in Rehoboth. Being able to walk to and from everywhere (including the beach) was incredibly convenient and they even have an on site restaurant that serves an incredibly diverse range of breakfast options you normally don't find in many places. If you were turned off by all of those negative reviews on TripAdvisor and elsewhere, please reconsider. They've listened to people's complaints, they've read all of their reviews (even the negative ones), and I think that they are all the better of a hotel for it.
"Clean, spacious, and comfortable"

Our priorities are cleanliness and comfort, and we got both at this hotel. In particular, the beds were in good shape, which is something that is oddly lacking in many hotels that cost more. The upholstered furniture was a bit worn but not gross, and most of the "wood" pieces were in nearly new condition. The bathroom was updated and very clean. With two double beds, a sleep sofa, and mini-kitchen, our suite would have been comfortable for a family of 4. The lighting was unusually good with wall fixtures, standing lamps, and table lamps generously placed throughout the suite. The only negative was draperies. The curtains in the bedroom did not shut fully, so we had to use a safety pin to keep out the light at night. The privacy curtains in the living room hung sadly lower than the heavier decorative curtains, creating a somewhat neglected look.
"Great Customer Service!"

I think the room you get for the money here is pretty similar to other suite hotels in Rehoboth -- the bathrooms have probably been updated a little more recently than the bedroom/living room and look a little more modern, but everything's clean, comfortable, and in working order. And the location -- next door to Sammy's and a few blocks from the beach -- is terrific. But the reason I go back is because the staff -- from the cleaning people to the front desk -- are always so nice to us and our small kids. This past weekend they earned my long-time loyalty by finding my son's beloved stuffed animal (which must have fallen out of our bag as we left our room) and calling my cell phone before we left town so that we could go back and get it. When we arrived to pick him up, Big Puppy was sitting at the front desk helping his new friends greet guests. Thanks, Brighton Suites!
I had an enjoyable stay at Brighton for a few days for my job. I agree with most of the reviews, very outdated room though the bathroom was all redone and very nice! Nice amenities, unfortunately work was being done on the pool and fitness room, but, they looked okay! The pool is technically indoors so, can be used whenever. The location is great! Staff was super friendly and nice.
"Not so Bright Anymore..."

I stayed at this hotel about 6 years ago. At that time it was ok, not super nice, but ok. I just stayed there again recently and it was not ok. This hotel is beyond run down at this point. It is apparent that the owners have done absolutely nothing to update it or to fix broken furniture etc. in addition, it was dirty and smelled of mold. Even the heat vents had giant dust formations on them. The beds were not comfortable and the walls paper thin. The atrium in the main part of the hotel was horrible with no heat, stained floors, dead plants and just a general feeling of grunginess. The ONLY plus I would give this hotel is that the front desk staff was friendly and nice. Other than that, take your money elsewhere. Trust me, even an extra $50 a night is well worth it.
"A Great Beach Escape"
01/15/14 Dave K Delaware City
We stayed here in the off season when rates are significantly lower. The hotel is what we call "beach shabby" which for us means it's perfectly nice, and clean and well used. It's not a criticism but shorthand for." You're a block from the beach, in a family oriented hotel. Allowances must be made." The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The package included discounts at the dinner next store for breakfast which we enjoyed very much. The room was ready for us and was very comfortable and included everything we needed for a lovely weekend. It's one block from Rehoboth Ave and couple of blocks from the beach. Check out Go Fish! or Semra's Mediterranean Grill for dinner. Dogfish Head has good food and serves their own great beer but it's hard to get a table even in the off season.

Great location, nice rooms, love the free parking and rooftop deck! Free DVD rental was a nice perk too. My fellow traveler left some clothes in a drawer and they called and were even kind enough to mail the clothes to her. Great choice for Rehoboth!
"I wasn't a fan..."

I like to start my reviews by saying I'm a picky traveler, so you know my reference point. I am happiest in high-end Marriott and Hyatt properties. Stayed here for a nearby baseball tournament, and I would not stay again. The good things are that parking is free, you are only 1-1/2 blocks away from the beach and a block from the main road through town with all the shopping/food. The staff was very nice, and housekeeping did a great job. My room was as clean as it could be for what they had to work with. Problem was that the hotel is very tired. It desperately needs an update. The bathroom had been updated and was clean, but the rest of the room was a 70's throwback. Furniture, curtains, linens were very old. Pillows were pretty gross. I actually wrapped ours in towels so we didn't have to lay on them. The carpet was full of stains, and lighting was terrible. Chairs were very stained, as well. We couldn't open the sliding glass door to let in some air, and we couldn't see out of it because it was all fogged (or dirty?) between the glass. I know that most beach hotels aren't super luxurious. People pay crazy prices just to stay near the beach, so hotels really don't have to upgrade much as long as they have location to offer. The hallways reminded me of a dormitory. I don't like giving bad reviews. But I just can't recommend this hotel to other travelers. Unless you aren't very picky. If all you are looking for is a clean bathroom and good location, you'll be quite happy, I suppose.
"Brighten Suites, Sweet Location"

The hotel is staffed with very friendly people. It has free garage parking and the suites have two rooms, each with a flat screen TV. We enjoyed our stay here in spite of the thundering herd of youngsters running through the hallways until 10 PM or so. The rooms were clean and the hotel is perfectly positioned for walks around the city or on the nearby oceanfront boardwalk and to the many good restaurants. We would be happy to stay here again if we revisit Rehoboth Beach!
