The Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery, its wide pavements lined with designer shops and chic cafes. The room is nice and clean and the reception staff was helpful. It just a bit too far from the metro, but it is accessable to bus stops.

Overall, staff was pleasant, however one staff member was not very courteous and placed us in a smoking room when we asked for a non-smoking room. Restaurant in the hotel was good.

We stayed here for our first night in Barcelona and we wished we had a few more. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was great-right near the main shopping/sightseeing area. Would recommend it to a friend.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! From arrival on, the staff was exceptional, helpful and professional. The room was very comfortable, beautiful, nice decor, gorgeous and spacious bathroom. The location is perfect for walking on to nice shops and cafes, and convenient to several Metro lines. It rained part of the time I was in Barcelona, which was fine, but it was really nice to have a good restaurant and bar on the premises. As a woman travelling on my own, I was never uncomfortable in this location. A real treat!

It is a nice, modern, clean hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. We were satisfied with all aspects of our stay. The location is great - walking distance to Gaudi's famous sites in Eixample, to La Rambla and to Gothic Quarter. One misunderstanding on our side was the assumption that the buffet breakfast was included in the price (which was the case for some people staying in the hotel). However, we found out that hotels.com never include breakfast in their price quotes.

Having never traveled outside US, I did not have any expectations really, (although reading other reviews prepared me for the small size of rooms!), but found this room quite nice! was probably the largest of all rooms stayed at during trip even. The bathroom was downright luxurious compared to others as well! Beds seem to be very hard as a standard everywhere we stayed, and these were no exception. The area is definately quiet at night, a bit away from everything. We took the bus from the airport, as suggested on other reviews, but is was a bit longer of a walk, uphill, than expected. still, not a problem if you like to walk. We used the metro to get around town after that. Thought it was a good value for money, would stay again-

This hotel is well situated away from noise and was comfortable and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and able to offer advise on where to go etc. There is an excellent Tapas Bar just across form the Hotel and shops are easily reached on foot. The roof terrace is a peaceful retreat. I would stay here again. Good value for money.

A wedding was held in the hotel the night we stayed. The music was louder in our rrom than it was in the street or the hallway. We reported this and were told we had to wait until 3.00am for the music to stop. The besa and pillows were uncomforatable and service was poor.
