Rooms were run down and very dirty. I should have had a nicer,cleaner room for what the rate was! Looked more like a $29 room. Will NEvER stay there again!

Ive stayed at a Quality before with no issues but this one...The sheets were stained and old, the desk was broken, the remote was broken, we saw a roach in our stay, and there was only one person on staff at all times who never answered the phone. No quality here!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. First, they tried to put us in a smoking room even though we reserved a non-smoking room. They moved us to room 209, the only non-smoking room they said was available. When we tried to close the door, we discovered it was falling off the hinges. The walls looked like they had tried (unsuccessfully) […] to paint over mold. The carpets felt sticky when I walked on them. The bathtub was covered with soap scum and leftover used soap was on the sink. When I complained I was told that there was nothing they could do except talk to the manager in the morning. We laid on the beds and tried to sleep, but after less than 2 hours of itching, decided we could not stay in that nasty room. The clerk gave us no satisfaction and told us we could not get a refund, so we might as well stay. We gave her the key and let her know we would prefer to sleep in our van in our daughter's driveway. Second floor room. We checked in after midnight. The night desk clerk was unable to complete my reservation with the credit card number she had. It did not match any of my credit card numbers. The first room we were givin had an A/C with completley broken knobs that would not allow adjustment. Clerk (not maintenance) tried to fix it for about 15 minutes, and finally decided to move us to another room. The second room was, to say the least, not well kept. A/C would not cool the room enough to be comfortable, bed covers had cigarrette burns […] (in a No Smoking Room), water stains on all chairs, vent cover in bathrom was missing and fan was full of dust and grime. The room had and overall dirty look and feel. While in the lobbly, I overhead 2 more customers complaining about dirty rooms and checking out. I should have followed their lead and left right then. I had reserved room for 3 nights. We stayed the first night because it was late, but packed ASAP and left the next morning. We ended up at the Wingate 7 miles to the north on I-95. Most hotels in that area looked much better than this one. If all you want is a place to lay your head, then you will be happy. But if you want a clean and comfortable room, KEEP DRIVING!!!!! This hotel room smelled of cat urine. We told the front desk and they offered us a room on the second floor. We had been driving all day, South Carolina was our last stop & we were too tired to carry our luggage upstairs. There was mold on the wall behind the beds and the bathroom was not clean. The laundry was outside & it looked like our clothes would […] be dirtier after we washed them. We went to a local store and paid over $5.00 for a small can of Lysol spray do disinfect the room. My husband accidentally left his Iphone charger and called as soon as he realized it after we checked out. They said they found it and would mail it to him C.O.D.,but didn't ask for an address. After a few days he thought they might not have our address since we booked through hotels.com, so he called back. They said they did not have the charger, and only had a broken one. (his was brand new). This has still not been resolved. Do not stay at this Quality Inn. There is another Quality Inn much closer to St.Augustine, which looked nicer from the outside, but I do not know how clean it is inside. Read more

The hotel was not bad. The service was something to talk about. When we checked in there were no towels in the room and the front desk lady would not bring us the towels. We had to go to the front desk to get them. Housekeeping did not clean our room at all during our stay. Also the pool was dirty and no maintenance given to it.

Upon our arrival, the front desk clerk tried to give us a room that was very smelly, had a small tv, and it was probably a smoker's room because I could smell it. I had asked for a non smoking, no pets room because of my allergies. The room was not so great. There was water damage on the walls and the room was very musty. There was a large spider where the wall met the ceiling and quite a few creepy crawlies. Seeing as we checked in very late - around 1am (and the woman behind us was told that there were no more vacancies), we inspected the bed for signs of bed bugs (thankfully […] none) and went to sleep. Someone had shut the water off to the toilet and when my husband turned it back on, the toilet ran continuously the whole night. In the morning - there was no "do not disturb" sign and the housekeeper tried to come in 3 tims from 9:30 to 10:30 am (check out was 11). She didn't knock or yell housekeeping or even apologize. Our allergies bothered us for most of the following day and our day of sightseeing was cut short because we just felt crumby. The room I reserved for my brothers-in-law, a smoking room was somewhat better but they reported the same experience with housekeeping. The rooms' decor was fairly modern but the maintainance was VERY lacking. Would not stay here again. Read more

We stopped here for an overnight stay to visit St. Augustine. We arrived around 11:00 that night and were pleasantly surprised to find that the air conditioning had been turned on and the room was nice and cool. This was wonderful after a long day of travel. After settling in and wanting to turn in for the night we noticed that there were no towlels […] in the bathroom. Not a one! We had to go back to the office to get some towels. The toilet paper was low on the roll and ran out in the middle of the night with no replacement! That is not a good time to run out of toilet tissue! The complimentary breakfast was very nice with a good selection to choose from. They seemed to keep it stocked very well and were constantly replenishing the supply. Pros: Reception, Room cleanliness, Breakfast Cons: Bathroom was not as expected (only one soap was provided), the shower curtain was torn, the location was little far from the St. Augustine city and not many restaurants near to the hotel But overall it was an okay experience.
