It was unclear to me when I booked that the Mountain View and Beach View hotels were actually completely different buildings divided by a street. The initial disappointment that we had not booked at the Beach View instead was quickly dispelled by having the heated pool (for this winter vacation) in Mountain View. The staff were excellent and attentive. […] My only problem with this hotel, and most of Egypt for that matter, was that it would be impossible for a disabled person to manage. The hotel did not have an elevator, but high stair cases everywhere (same from what I could observe in the Beach View facility). Good exercise, but limiting to those unable to move easily. Quality of food is so poor. There are no parking shade while parking car in around 45 C. Parking is far from the hotel across the street.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I contacted guest relations by e-mail prior to my arrival and they sent a shuttle bus to the airport just for 5 dollars. Even there was 45 minute delay the driver was waiting me outside with a friendly smile on his face. I was on a dive trip so did not care about the distance to the seaside. It takes a five […] minute walk from the room to the beach. The hotel is close to the city center. 10 minute walk to the Naama center which was very convenient for me. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory and included in the price. On site coffe shop (illy) offers free wi-fi so no need to pay for the internet. I used the on site dive club Mr. Diver. The hotel is nice overall. Do not pay extra for the sea view because all you will get is a really little far view of the sea and its really not worth it. It is close to Naamah bay, walking distance so this is the best part about it.

Is a lovely place to spend a family holiday, heavenly beds, nice pools, and very polite staff. The breakfast buffet wasn't wow compared to other hotels we'ver stayed in, and the bathroom had a sewage smell which they tried to fix but didn't manage to. However all in all it was well worth our money and we plan to go there again, inshAllah.

As a family we loved this hotel. We preferred it above the Marriott Beach hotel which is opposite the Marriot Mountain. We could use all the facilities and the beach in the Marriott Beach though. The Hotel was excellent, but like all Middle East Marriotts the chillers in the pool keep the water so cold you cannot get in them. The location was superb you are on the beach and literally on the broadwalk to the main square which is a beautiful 5 minute walk past beach restaurants and cafes. Right from the very start the hotel welcome was obvious and warm. Islam - the front desk manager - was one of the nicest, most helpful guys you will ever meet! This was the second time we stayed at the Marriott Sharm. We stayed in the beach side hotel so we had our private beach to go and explore the house reef. The house reef was good, visibility wasn't great but we swam further out and it became better. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Pool was great, and the hotel was clean. Firstly, I called the Hotel’s front desk to book the Shuttle Bus I was assured the Shuttle Bus was no longer available/running so a car would be arranged. Upon arrival at the reception the driver charged me 95EGP instead of the agreed 70EGP! Staying with us in my daughter, whom has a pushchair, to our surprise we found that your hotel does not have […] a lift in the entire hotel, so to move from reception to our room, we have to carry her pushchair down and then up 2 sets of stairs. In our room: I plugged in the Internet Access cable to my work laptop, where I was asked to pay 132EGP for 24 hours. It was stated, that I could register 4 laptops to use my internet access I had paid for, so my wife wanted to use here iPad (which does not have the cable option) this morning from the room, but it would not work, so I spoke to front desk and they inform me that the wifi signal is very poor in our room/not working at all! so it cannot be used from our hotel room. This I find, totally unacceptable, if the wifi internet access was provided for free, then I would not have a problem, but, the fact we are being charged for it I do not see why there should be restrictions placed on where we can use it and where we cannot. And as you know this is a hotel, so you expect as a guests to choose to do most things within ones hotel room. On our first nights stay, we woke to find ants in our room!!
