This hotel was clean and very convenient to the Metro. Lots of eating and drinking places and theaters close by. But unfortunately I have never seen, and breathed in, so much smoke, from so many young people in the neighborhood. The hotel was great, one block off the main street, and totally non-smoking. Remodeling the hotel, convenient location, comfortable and clean room. One of the front desk staff was very friendly, the rest were about average for what you what you would expect in Paris...not particularly friendly or interested in customer service. Decent price.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I would not go back, there is so much to say...first the evening hotel staff was very rude and unfriendly, the day staff wasnt much better. Our first room was so bad I actually started crying to the day staff and they gave me a new room that was not much better. Our first room was so gross and smelled ver old […] and musty, there were multiple bathroom tiles missing, and the bed linens had to be 20 years old, I was scared to touch anything. The next day after crying, I was given another room, not much better, the bathroom had all the tiles but the toilet did not work. They did fix the toilet. The hallways were scarier than the rooms, very dirty, the floors and walls were stained, and of course the bad smell. Oh and to top it off the bartender was horrible and rude also. I know Paris is expensive, we stayed here becuase we could use frequent flyer miles, but I would NOT stay here again, spend the money and stay somewhere nicer. The Provinces Opera hotel was the perfect place to stay in Paris. It is moderately priced and a metro ride away from everything. The hotel was neat and clean and our room was perfect. The hotel employees treated us as honored guests and we will definately go back to The Provinces Opera hotel the next time we visit Paris.

Excellent location, close to a metro stop (thought we walked everywhere) 15 min walk from Gare du Nord which makes it ideal if your getting there via the Eurostar which i would also recommend. Hotel was clean, quiet and staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here during the trade fair season so paid a premium tariff, which was not good value for the room. We may not have been quite so critical if we had paid the normal tariff. There was no electrical socket for the bedside lamp, and we had to ask twice to get an extension cord. The corridors and stairs were unloved, and the bathroom tiling had […] seen better days in the shower recess. The lighting level in the bedroom was poor. Wifi kept dropping out and required new login. Good points were that the room was spacious, more than some other Paris hotels we have been to, and the staff were obliging. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special eg coffee from an urn and therefore stewed, bacon and eggs available but not kept hot and not refreshed often enough. we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, whilst visiting paris for a short break. The description of this hotel sounded lovelgoy and we viewed the room, from the website. Upon arriving at the hotel, we found the downstairs area undergoing contruction so the reception area was messy with wires, construction and workman wandering about. It would have been nice to know that the hotel was having work done before we arrived though. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was big by paris standards, it would have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities and an iron, neither of which were provi.ded. There was a televison with various channels but it was all in french which was no good to foreign visitors unless you spoke the language. Breakfast was offered for a whopping 14 euros, we declined this as there are many cafes in the area offering breakfasts for alot less. very very dated room. 1 bed was directly on the floor. more of a youth hostel then a hotel. no shower justa tub with a showerhead on a hose that leaked. All in all not worht the price at all. quite noisy in the evenings, and it sounds like a waterfall every time someone flushes the toilet upstairs. 생각보다 방은 작았지만 가격 대비 나쁘지 않았음. 주변에 지하철 역이 있어서 주변 돌아다니는건 크게 불편하지 않으나 주변에 볼 건 없었음. 잠만 자고 낮에 볼 일 보러 다니는건 나쁘지 않음. 방마다 Wifi가 잡히긴 하나 인터넷만 가능하고 채팅메신저 로그인은 불가능했음.

Bon hôtel, parfaitement rénové. Parties communes spacieuses et bien pratiques, chambre très propre et fonctionnelle pour y travailler (bureau, Wifi...). Salle de bain spacieuse pour la chambre que j'avais. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, sans doute lié à la saison creuse. Je reviendrai vérifier si les tarifs restent aussi bons !

vet inte om detta är ett generellt problem, men jag bokade ifrån mina vänners hotell några hundra meter bort, för att sedan gå till hotellet och checka in. Men bokningen som gjordes 30 min tidigare hade inte hunnit igenom systemen men var betald. det slutade med att de efter 1,5 h gav mig ett dubbelrum fast jag bokat ett singelrum. Un hôtel bien situé avec un personnel professionnel et disponible. Un bon établissement, c’est mon pied à terre lors de mes séjours dans la capitale. Accueil très mitigé par un réceptionniste qui ne savait pas géré les priorités (et qui parlait peu ou pas l'anglais) l'état de la chambre très moyen (vu le prix !) sinon calme et surtout très bien situé (proximité Grand Rex ==> objet de mon déplacement à Paris) néanmoins j'y retournerai (mais pour une nuit.. pas plus)
