Convenient for getting to the Gondola and up to Meribel slopes. Cheap but very comfortable stay. Tidy, good sized room with nice en suite. Easy walk into town (5 mins).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay... we were on a DBB package.. food and service were lovely...friendly staff too.. we were skiing with friends in Meribel...very easy to drive from Hotel to slopes...we could have used the free bus shuttle to the Olympic gondola and if we come agian we may even do that. Only improvement to our stay could have been hospitality […] in room but then I am English and love a cuppa! would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an out of resort stay near the 3 valleys... The half board option was excellent value and I felt there was plenty of food with meat and fish options daily. I couldn't believe this hotel was only a 2*, the rooms are plain but very spacious and very clean, as are the bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you - they even offered to arrange for a cab to collect us at the station on the night we arrived. A small, but friendly hotel ideally siuated to the Olympic lift to Meribel. After 2 visits I will certainly be returning. However, as with most hotels in Brides, the daily evening menu is limited to singles options in each course, but the breakfast is plentiful. There are several restaurants and other hotels, so you should find what you want.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Athena Hotel. The staff were charming, courteous and very helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. The chef put himself out to please the children in our party. We highly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay there again.

We had pre booked for 3 people. The third bed in our room (for our son) was a very uncomfortable temporary Z-Bed, my son did not sleep well. Dinner service was very slow, the food was quite nice. Breakfast service was all DIY, the single hot-drinks machine stuck in the corner caused endless queueing, again food was OK. Good small very comfortable hotel near the centre of town, easy access to the lift system for the 3 valleys, 5 minutes walk or regular shuttle bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner excellent, all great value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great value for money and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Only two things I could fault with this hotel were:- (a) the heating in the rooms was centrally controlled. It was switched on very early in the mornings, and was switched off too early in the mornings and in the evenings, which meant that if you weren't out of your bed by 7am, it got too […] hot in bed, and in the evenings, if you wanted to be up and around later than 9pm, the room felt very cold. It was impossible to change it and when I asked, I was told not to tamper with the heating control. The dining room was always cold - I had to be sure to wear a sweater and a fleece, and the communal sitting area for the free wi-fi was equally cold. (2) the free wi-fi was unilaterally switched off at 10pm without warning and whether or not you still wanted to use it. Other than that, the hotel was excellent value for money. The meals were superb every night - 4 courses, no choice but it was not a problem if you needed something different - and, for skiing, there is a regular, free ski-bus to the Brides gondola, morning and evening - note it doesn't run between 11.30am and 4.30pm and, very strangely, it doesn't pick up at the gondola at night - you have to walk down into the village which is a pain in ski boots. Хороший отель, только очень низко (600 м). Кабель олимпия в 7 мин хотьбы- это удобно. На нем 20 мин поднимаешься до мерибель, а там из самого центра можно добраться на след подъемнике до куршавеля и других курортов. Конечно, если есть деньги, лучше брать отель повыше, хотя бы в ла танья! А так отель отличный, кормят достойно!

emplacement calme, à côté du torrent. Tout à côté de la navette qui passe tous les 1/4 d'h. Personnel très avenant, aux petits soins. Hôtel net, avec un espace jacuzzi refait récemment, qui permet une relaxation plus qu'agréable après le ski.
