I and friend stay at this hotel and found the experience to be pleasing. Check in was easy and I explained that I was expecting a guest the last night of my stay and because I list two persons per room there was no extra charge when she arrived dispite what other reviewers say. I did bring other guest before my last day and had to pay for the visit […] but the staff had told me that at check-in. The staff was very nice and friendly. The restaurant food was good but not great. The tennis courts are best used during the daylight because some lamp lights were out. The exercise room is busy because it is also a club for the locals who didn't seem to mind sharing but it was a bit crowded at times. The pool is beautiful and lots of seating around the pool. The room smelled a bit of mildew but it wasn't over bearing. Security was great and transportation good. I paid in advance with US dollars so there were no surprises at check out. I couldn't have been happier with my stay. I have been coming here for years and they continue to renovate it as the years progress. The pool area is gorgeous and the service is fantastic. The breakfast was great as well... all very fresh and a large selection. I am coming back indefinitely!

I enjoyed my stay as i did 3 weeks ago. Rates was very good. The staff very helpful, what I did not like was that the condaments in the refrigerator was outrageously to expensive. If you comsume anything from the refrigerator it cost to much. The same item up the street is 3/4 less expensive. We went to Dominican Republic to celebrate our wedding anniversary, my husband is Dominican and was my first trip to Santo Domingo. We decided to stay at Dominican Fiesta. The hotel is so beautiful, and is located in a nice and quiet neighbor and close to the colonial zone.The crew from the hotel is so nice friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious […] with modern furniture and have a digital save, dryer, iron and board, weight and a variety of toiletries. We just had a trouble with the AA of our room, but when we call the reception, the moved us immediatly to another room and they called the next day to be sure that we are ok with the new room and if the AA was working properly. Our room was so clean and neat and had an amazing view to the caribean sea. The WIFI work perfect and was fast. The pool area is super modern. In the ground level they have some stores with souveniers and a beauty salon, I recommend to all women who wants to look pretty during the stay in the capital, the make a nice hairstyles and brushed and is cheaper that the beauty saloons at the local malls. The buffet from El Mercado Restaurant is delicious. In the last floor the have a modern and romantic restaurant with a pretty view. In overall my husband and I was so happy to the excellent choice that we made and next time we'll going to choose again the Dominican Fiesta. Read more

The Internet of this hotel sucks !! As a business man I stay all day outside the only thing I do in this hotel is to sleep and use the wifi to check some important emails. But these days I'm very but very disappointed! I'm must stay in the bathroom to get the better wifi signal. I called them to check if they can fix that issue. But the answer is to […] wait, they even lied to me the first night, they told me they were fixing the Wifi router at 11:30pm. Then the second night the wifi signal is even worse, I called at 9:30PM then waited until 10:15PM. When I called them again they told me that the technician only works until 10:00PM, and already left. So how can they fixed the router at 11:30PM the night before ? And they even told me that I should call them earlier, I did. But they never showed. What a horrible service and stupid lies they told. I just can't believe that happened in a " 5 stars" hotel !! I would have like to see a LCD flat screen tv in my room as I like to watch movies from my computer when their is nothing on tv to watch or if I am in a country where I can not understand the language spoken. I came here from the airport and they asked me to email them the Expedia voucher. I have traveled the whole world and always make my reservations on Expedia and never have they asked for a voucher. Stayed in hotel because it has tennis courts. Rooms were nice but had a musty smell inside. Also, when ordered room service , I ordered two glasses of water and they said could only order bottled water since they didn't give free water. the electrical sockets to plug in are of a european type even though the hotel is in the caribbean so I couldn't connect […] my cell phone charger. Even their own hairblower didn't work in their own electrical sockets. Go figure. The internet wi-fi worked well one day and didn't the next.
