Porto Mykonos is ideally located on a hill, 5 minute walk down into town. Day or night, Porto Mykonos has chill/lounge music playing throughout the lobby and opened terrace. You feel like you are in a dream-like state. When we arrived we were greeted with a cocktail at the terrace, which overlooks the sea, lit cruise ships and the Mykonos town(gorgeous). […] Our room was adorable with a small balcony. Unfortunately the double bed was composed of 2 twin hard box springs with a thin pillow top as a mattress. Needless to say, I barely slept and was very unhappy. They were very embarrassed and immediately corrected a wrong and gave us a suite with a garden view. They were wonderful about it offered free room service breakfast. I hope they buy a mattress for that room. Breakfast is included and pool service is superb. I loved Porto Mykonos. Dora, at the front Desk is a sweetheart and so is everyone else.! Read more

Accomodations in Mykonos have their own scale. A "good" room in Mykonos is unaccpetable at almost any other resort location. This is certainly true at Porto Mykonos. The rooms are spaartan, very outdated and almost completely void of amenities. Wonderful hotel, very clean and updated. Staff was very attentive. It is close to town and very easy to walk in for dinner or shopping. Our rooms had nice views of the bay.

There's nothing luxury about this hotel, by any standards. The listing of this property as a Small Luxury Hotel is misleading advertising and disqualifies SHL as a reliable source of tourist information. Good point: location (which, apparently, is not everything). Not so good point: staff although friendly and polite, they have no idea what hotel […] service means, to the point where they become useless. The bar is a wonderful place, but has zero service. Really bad points: - room size (mere closets, even for the superior sea-view) - cleanliness (non-English speaking maids, they will ignore do-not-disturb signs or will forget to clean the rooms). One more thing - you're supposed to know that hanging the blue ribbon that they provide in the rooms outside your door means "do not disturb" - nice touch, if they took the trouble of letting you know what it means. - towels (dirty, overused - some even torn) All in all, BAD. This hotel in no way sub-standard, it's just "okay." Great views of the ocean and the town of Mykonos is just a short walk away is the positive. The toilet didn't flush for a day, and had a steady drip that the hotel didn't fix (although they did send their maintenance people, apparently it was above their pay grade). The location of the hotel is great...5 minute walk to Mikonos town...howevere to access the beaches you must rent either a scooter(15 euros)/4 wheeler(20 euros)/car(40 euros)...all the beaches are easy to get to...about 4-5km away with easy roadsigns to follow...as far as getting to the hotel from the port...taxis are 8 euros and the walk is long about […] 30 minutes...the hotel itself is nice...the rooms are just ok...bathrooms are very small and it doesnt feel like a 4 star resort inside except for the sea view on the balcony(which is quite nice)...i would recommend the hotel but may want to look at somewhere in the same location that is not quite as expensive Read more

They shouldn't call it breakfast buffet. Low quality. They wanted me to wait for luggage checking passengers and pay 15 Euro in a minibus. Taxi was 12. This hotel was barely satisfactory at discount rates.

Loved this hotel, there was nothing negative about this place. We were first greeted by Maria and it was as if we were the only guests arriving for the day. Her enthusiasm made us feel instantly welcomed. In fact all the staff were great. The location was perfect as it is only a short stroll to the town, but far enough not to feel like you are in the […] middle of everything. The best part was the outdoor areas. They have a large verandah that has lots of soft lounges and chairs all around the decking. If you don't want to explore the island, you can just sit and enjoy the views of the town and the sunset......Perfect! It has a very tranquil feel and is well maintained. The sea view rooms are large and worth paying that little bit extra. We travelled with our two adult children and we all felt at home. My only concern about Mykonos are the narrow roads. Don't even think about driving yourself anywhere and the tourists ride the motorbikes like they are on a racing track. Otherwise, we highly recommend a trip to Mykonos. Read more

Let's start with the positive first: We were picked up/dropped off at the airport. Very friendly and polite driver. Great pool area with a great view. We arrived Saturday evening, and in the reception(the hostess, which we didn't see for our rest of our stay) told us 'We have a problem'. One of our guests must extend his stay, due to 'sickness'. We […] were shocked as we had prepaid our room for 2 nights. The offered us a studio across the road and a free dinner! It was late Saturday, and we agreed to see the studio(as we hadn't much of a choice). The studio was YMCA like, and we declined straight away. Then they drove us to another hotel, which we also declined, due to the hotel was a big party. At last they offered us a 4 star hotel a couple km off town, which we accepted. The day after they picked us up, and drove us back to Mykonos Hotel(in company with other guests, who had experienced the same!). We got 'the best room in the Hotel', for one night. The room was not a 4 star hotel worthy! We got the dinner in the evening, but was not offered any desserts(petty). We have been around the world and back, and have not experienced any thing like this before. We will never use this hotel at any of our future Mykonos trips! Read more

日本の感覚だとこのホテルでもペンションに近い規模ですが、ミコノスの港に位置するホテルとしてはそこそこの大きさ　海に向かって遮るものが無く、港もクルーズ船も、すべてお部屋のバルコニーでくつろぎながら見渡せます　食事をする場所はさらに一段高いところにあって、オープンテラスで海を眺めながらのんびりできます　 日中オープンテラスでコーヒーをもらっても特に料金はとられませんでした 従業員もみなとても親切で感じよくて、英語も普通に通じます 部屋ではインターネットが接続できない（オープンテラスは無料WiFi）ことと、バスタブがなくてシャワーのみなことが、敢えて言えば欠点かな いずれにしても、もし日本にあればすべての旅行雑誌に載るレベルのリゾート感です
