      The hotel is located right on the Meuse River, centrally located to all the attractions in Verdun. The decor is somewhat outdated, but the hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Expect a typical old (built in the 1820s) European hotel. I'd stay there again.

      The staff is trained to provide courteous, detailed service to people not familiar with the area. Staff speaks English. They went out of their way to try to get us info on flights and trains.
