Wyndham Casa Grande Monterrey - Garza Garcia

Everything is great, but you can't walk easily to all the great shopping and restaurants that are across the busy highway. Taxis don't charge more than $50 to get you there ($5 USD) so it wasn't bad at all. Hotel is great, and the savings per night is worth it.

The only problem we had with this Hotel is that they did a huge party in the central patio and it was really difficult to sleep. I complain about this in the Front Desk and they did not resolve anything. So be careful with your Hotel room if it with a window towards the patio.

We spent a week at the Wyndham Casa Grande in Monterrey, were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of the hotel, and would gladly stay there again. It was clean, comfortable, had a good restaurant, was located with easy access to shopping, other restaurants, and the city, and our room was quiet, restful, and very nicely decorated.

When I made my reservations, the firts page of the document said BREAKFAST INCLUDED, but we were not able to get it. I will recommend to eliminate that form the Ad if you are not willing to provide it...or stick to what you guys are offering! Shame on your marketing strategy!

The Wyndham hotel is located in a very upscale part of Monterrey next to several other high class hotels. The district has prohibited street vendors so there are no taco stands or any other street vendors nearby. There is a bus stop half a block away that will take you to downtown if you don't want to pay the very pricey taxi service. There rates were […] high even for US standards, but they are private taxis that will come and pick you up and take you back to the hotel if you want. There are also several restaurants across the street (highway - the pedestrian walkway is just past the bus stop) and a mall walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is wonderful. Clean well maintained rooms, prompt service, the dining area was on the same scale as the rest of the restaurant, wonderful buffets as well as room service. There was even a small wedding performed in the back courtyard (I imagine it was coordinated by the event planner at the hotel) that looked lovely. There is a quaint pool, but not very exciting. We didn't see anyone in it the whole week we were there. There is also a massage room, but we did not use it, so I cannot comment there. The fitness room looked very nice, but again we did not use it. The staff were very attentive. We were treated like movie stars, and apparently they have had several movie stars stay at the hotel. All in all, especially given the wonderful price we obtained on-line, this was a marvelous stay. Read more

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed with this hotel. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Hotel looks newish or recently remodeled, the rooms are very clean with modern decor, flat screens and free wifi. They also provide free secure parking. The only tricky part are the roads, which do not […] provide a left turn so we had to loop around and under from Lazaro Cardenas to Frida Kahlo over to the opposite direction to get to the hotel. The staff does not speak English. They try, but they don't. The breakfast tastes like it was prepared by the staff of a state prison. Bland, tasteless and cold. The coffee was so cold it couldn't' melt the Cremora. They didn't have any real creamer. There have to be better options.

La estancia nos pareció agradable, sin embargo sugerimos que los acuerdo que tengan con los hoteles, por favor sea mas definidos, nos sucedió en los desayunos que tuvimos que pagar cada servicio, ya que no se originan bauches al registrarnos, debido a que ya estaba pagado la reservación.

es un hotel muy limpio, ordenado, comodo, y las camas te invitan a dormir, no es la primera ni la última vez que me hospedaré ahí. el único pero que le pongio es que a las 12:00 de la noche no puedes subir en el elevador desde el estacionamiento, dicen que por seguridad pero si es por eso deberian checar las entradas al estacionamiento.
