We chose this hotel because we had been traveling around Ireland for 8 days and had an early flight the next morning. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport and if you decide to go into Dublin for dinner, it is only a 20 minute taxi ride. We debated going into Dublin but settled on the hotel restaurant and bar. We could not have been happier […] with our decision. There was a fantastic waiter/bartender there named Ben and he was so nice and so incredibly attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. My family fly in and out of Dublin twice. Having the hotel shuttle bus was a blessing at 2:30 in the morning. The Hotel is down the street from Thrifty car rental (10 minute walk), an easy bus ride or a cab (fare of 22 Euros) to downtown. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only negative thing is the restaurant, […] they don't like serving food except for certain (exact!) timeframes. I am used to 4 star hotels in the US that I can get something (a snack or sandwich) to eat at anytime. My family flew into Dublin at 2:30 am in the morning, got up (very hungry) and walked into the restaurant at 11 am. We where told that they could not serve us any food (breakfast closed promptly at 10:30 am). We about ended up taking the shuttle to the airport to get something to eat until the Lady (her name started with a B?) at the reception desk overheard me ask the shuttle driver if there was a nearby place we can get food, She promptly called the restaurant and arranged for us some ham and cheese sandwiches (fyi they are excellent cooked ham and cheese sandwiches). The other time my family (after touring the country side), got to the restaurant at 9:59 pm and where told to order quickly since the kitchen does not accept orders after 10 pm! The restaurant is severely under staffed, at every meal they seem to running around trying to do too many things at one time. Read more

Price was right and the place had free airport transportation. That's about all we were looking for for our last night in Ireland. Had dinner in the main restaurant. Kinda pricey, but the food was good. Only concern was a freezing hotel room when we checked in. Thermostat was unworkable. Called the front desk and it took two visits by hotel staff to […] finally figure out what the deal was. (All we wanted to do was grab a quick nap, so it was a bit of an annoyance.) Thermostat located quite low on the wall ~ hard to see and needed an engineering degree to operate ~ and was being controlled by the hotel overall, not the room guests. This was the perfect place to stay to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The "neighborhood" is right near the airport so not very appealing, just a lot of traffic, but we didn't hear the traffic so it was no problem. We booked the hotel to be close to the Dublin Airport and that it was. The hotel took us by shuttle to our terminal as well. We were disappointed with the room. It had a hospital smell and the shower had some discolored caulk that looked mildew.

Upon check in, the associate behind the counter was short and abrupt. Not very friend and I made me feel like I was putting her out. Wish we could've had our room at Noon. And we had 5 minutes to get out the door with the parking validation?! Location was close to airport so that was good. This hotel decides everything for you, without regard to what you want. Want to have the lights on? You have to have your key in the door. Want to plug in a laptop near the bed? You can't-- they changed the plugs near the bed so only *their* devices can plug in, but not yours. The list goes on. My only serious complaint was that there was no sheet on the bed, just a light cotton duvet and a heavy blanket. Good value hotel with helpful staff. Taxi fare to hotel is horrendously expensive (why being so close to airport?) so try to get their free shuttle service. The buffet breakfast was lovely, pleasant servers.

We chose this hotel to stay at on the last night of our ten day vacation to Ireland because it was close to the airport. My daughter and I arrived at around six pm after traveling from Galway. We were tired and going to eat and relax before our flight the next morning. We checked into our room, which was a standard convention hotel. Older - stained-Not […] a king size bed, it was a queen size bed, and no coffee maker in the room. We were fine with that as we knew we were leaving in the morning. We were also starving, so we headed to the restaurant. The meal was substandard. The chicken dish my daughter ordered tasted like a bland lean cuisine and my steak was overcooked. I didnt send it back so it is my own fault for that. The americano coffee was awful too. Our meal cost us 70 euro. Way overpriced for what we got. . I was glad this was our last night and not our first impression of Ireland. So after we left the restaurant, I went to take a shower and I had a heckl of a time turning the shower off. I went to bed,daughter with ear plugs next to me and was kept up by elevator noise and the party with a dj playing backstreet boys and an assortment of techno pop until around two am.
