place was old, dirty. more than 1 bug had to be killed in the room. no chair for desk, no fridge even though site says there is, there isn't. towels had holes in them and very like sandpaper. front desk was not rude but by far friendly. no elevator. loud parties on the weekends.

Staff was friendly, lobby was clean, plenty of parking, room was clean. We were only there for 1 night. Great for a short stay if flying out of nerby airport or visiting the theme park that is less the 15 mins away.

great room for the money , but mattress was saggy, the hotel was recently renovated, paint was on granite etc. The lobby was regal, the pool was indoors, not what i expected for the cheap price I paid.

First Night was a charm, came Saturday night, they had the ball room divided into three party rooms with music equipment to power any if not all of Michael's Jackson concerts. The music was so loud that it could be heard from the parking lot. Approximately over 300 teens were mashing and banging, smoking, drinking, I was so eager to call the cops and ask for my money back. If you want to stay, please call and see if they are not having one of these out of control parties before you stay.

When we arrived at the hotel, the girl at the front desk complained to us that she was overdue and waiting to leave. When we asked why the place looked so bad, she said, "Oh, that's because there was a massive Rave party here the night before and they just hadn't gotten to cleaning it yet" which was the night before. We were checking in a full day later! The room was very, very smoke ridden.Empty cigarette packs were lying under the bed. My two sons (ages 6 and 8) were having trouble breathing because of it. We asked to switch rooms and they did so, but the next room was almost as smokey. There was a pair of jeans laid out in the middle of the floor in the hallway in front of our room and a puddle of water in front of the ice machine (mind you, this is a puddle on carpet). I notified the front desk twice of this and it was still like that when we checked out in the morning. The continental breakfast was served in a steam table without steam trays. This was easily our worst hotel experience ever.

Not a 5-star, but that's not what I was paying for. Ask for an additional towel, and make sure the thermostat is working. Otherwise, great value and nice folks.

We came here after spending time at a cheaper hotel while we waited for our home purchase closing to happen It's very clean even though they're doing remodeling & I don't understand those who complained about the remodeling because I rarely heard the work going on but definately saw the results afterwards Staff is very friendly & helpful & our early checkin wasn't a problem for them even though they had a convention going on the weekend we checked in I wished I brought my bathing suit with me so I could've used the pool which was closed during the convention - maybe they'll put in a small shop where such items can be purchased in the future as the remodel finishes The wireless internet went down in the whole hotel due to the ISP provider but as soon as they had internet up & running the next day they sent someone down to the room with an ethernet cord to hook up my computer The Continental Breakfast had a nice selection of juices, bagels, bread for toast & 2 types of cold cereal & a basket of fresh fruit which changed from apples, oranges & tangerines to pick from as well as plenty of coffee & hot water for tea The king size bed is comfortable & my only complaint about the room is that there's not cable & there are very few channels to watch but since we've got our own dvd player we just hit up blockbuster which isn't far We found it quite refreshing to have staff who really know customer service is about the Customer & they're helpful with a smile & are quick to get what ever it is that you need The hotel is located very conviently to the highway & shopping & has a small game room as well as a bar If you need to stay for a week this is definately the place for a business person (or a family even since the sofa pulls out into a bed) we had friends drop in to visit us for a couple hours to watch movies before we went out to meet more friends at another location & with the desk chair sofa & bed we all enjoyed a relaxing time without feeling cramped & everyone had some

I heard some negetive things about this hotel, but I stopped by to check it out myself before booking my stay. The staff gave me a tour and let me check out the rooms. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was a great deal for the price. The pool is not heated and could use a new epoxy coat. But worth the money. Staff is great and accommodating. I have booked over 3 weeks and it remains consistant.

Don't expect anything too fancy, but if you're looking for a nice stay near the airport, this place is pretty good. The Good: Nice size room, comfortable bed, hot shower, indoor pool, cocktail lounge, decent continental breakfast The Bad: Hotel appears to be in renovation -- a little cluttered, TV was OK but didn't work great, Towels were very skimpy, No Coffee in the lobby!! Overall: Stay here if you're looking for an inexpensive decent stay. Get in early to use the facilities, and plan on eating out.

While the front lobby was very well presented and the staff was very friendly, the outside looked like a run down motel. The hotel could accommodate over 200 guests but it was virtually empty. The guest room was not dusted and the bathroom floor had dust and hair. We were very nervice about the park & fly because of the location. On our return flight there was no shuttle service. We had to take a cab and get reimburesed from the hotel. I would not recommend or use this hotel again!

I was satisfied with the decor and cleanliness of the facility. The continental breakfast was not good. The bagels were not fresh and there was not much variety. Two or three yogurts and some juice was the entire spread. I was not pleased with the conveniences either. I asked the front desk for toothe paste and toothe brush and they did not have any. Guests forget things all of the time or it could be spur of the moment travel. A hotel/motel should always have extras on stand by for situations such as these.

In searching for a hotel to save us $20/per night, we didn't expect what we actually paid for. The pictures on their website do much justice. Some of the issues... We noticed each room on the website had sliders, which was rather important to us, but upon arrival; they were sealed. The room was not very clean. All of the complimentary shampoos, coffees, etc. appeared to have been in the room for well over a year. The blow dryer didn't work, when maintenance came to fix it, they figured out the top outlet didn't work, so they jimmy rigged the blowdryer plug into the bottom outlet which didn't fit (we kept hands away from it to avoid electrocution). There was a bar in the lobby, and the only sign of previous life was a lonely pepper shaker resting where there should have been bottles. The limousine pictured out front is probably a 1982 that sat in the parking lot with flat tires and much rust. We scurried out of the hotel in the morning so we weren't really sure if there really was a complimentary breakfast, and if so, we were pretty certain that it would not have been very fresh. Although we got quite a few laughs out of our stay, we would not go back or receommend it.

I flew in to Hartford at 10:30 PM and called for the free shuttle (one reason I chose the hotel) only to be told they didn't know where the driver was. I booked a cab and upon my arrival was told they weren't authorized to reimburse me without a manager, who didn't come on duty until after I left the next morning. Employees were well meaning but not empowered, and one told me the owner spent $12.5 million on improving the lobby (if so, the contractor is laughing all the way to the bank.) My observation is that not a cent made it into the rest of the hotel. Walking down the dimly lit corridor toward my room felt like a scene out of a cheap horror movie, enhanced by the fact that I was virtually the only guest there. While only a few miles from the Airport, the place is in the sticks with no dining opportunities anywhere in walking distance. My choice was stale chips or candy from the vending machines, the carpet in front of which was soaking wet from the leaking cooling units. In my room: half the TV channels were snowy/fuzzy, but at least the AC worked. Quite a variety of toiletries, as though they collect them from different hotels like I do!!! Bottom line: you can do better for the $$$

We stayed on Labor Day. The hotel was empty and nothing was open (bar, pool, dining room). Even the restaurant across the street was closed. There is nothing else around. The staff was very courteous and helpful and our room was nice.

I stayed at the Beverly Hill Hotel for one night for a friend's wedding. The lobby was really nice. I can see they had just got it renovated. The room was okay. There was a little stain on the wall.

We had a terrible time - my son got sick from rotten apple juice that was served with breakfast, our room didn't lock, not one of the machines in the fitness center worked, etc. etc. Stay somewhere else.

The only thing good I can say is that the staff was very pleasant and the lobby looked nice. The overall hotel is awful. Weeds are growing out front and the hotel is is a state of disrepair not remodeling. We stayed three nights and our linens were never changed and bathroom floor/carpets not cleaned. I ignored the comments thinking the remodeling would be complete. Not a chance.

Beverly Suites was a pleasent surprise. We had to leave on a last minute business trip and our flight was delayed. We were zonked out when we got to the hotel and had to video conference with our office. To our suprise and delight we found a well equipped Business Center with a t2 line and our conference was as smooth as silk! The staff was pleasent and very helpful... Great Breakfast and we were driven to our meeting in Hartford by the Hotel Van as there were no taxis available. This is a wonderful accomodating squeekey clean and comfortable hotel we highly recommend for the buget mindedTravelling Business man..>They even gave us a free drink they said courtesy of Hotels.com. lol

Recommended Trip type: Business "Newly renovated ROOMS , and a magnifisent lobby! , Very friendly and accomodating staff. we used the shuttle to the airport. On time and very pleasant."

I did not expect such a very fine hotel at the price we paid . My kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool. Having a Bar/ Nightclub was also a plus. We will definitely come back

a little too expansive for the money. I would rather stay in a motel and save money next time.

Hotel was certainly not ready to recieve guests. Dining area not ready, staff not hired or ready, no breakfast ready, bath not completely renovated. Needs much work to be really ready.
