Super cute but the rooms are too small for a family of four. Best for couples. Breakfast is not really worth it so just wing it on the streets rather than pay for that option.

They have very attentive and helpful bilingual staff. It is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the very reasonably priced shops and restaurants of Cartier Street. A somewhat longer (less than 15 minutes) walk toward the Old City down Allee Street gets you to numerous restaurants offering a wider variety of menus albeit somewhat more expensive. Continuing […] another 5 minutes beyond this area takes you to the St. Louis gate entry to the Old City. The heavy traffic on Allee Street abates in the evening and noise was not a problem in the evening. Some may consider the room somewhat small but that was of minor consequence to us since we were out most of the day. The bathroom was a bit small, fine for us of average size, but those of greater than average girth will find it somewhat confining. Absolutely loved our stay at Auberge Du Quartier and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to feel at home away from home. It's on one of the main streets, a direct walk into Old Quebec; across the street from a very historic-looking church; just a block away from a beautiful park and the riverfront; a block away from the Museum of Modern […] Art; and a block away from the Cartier street of neighborhood-style charming shops and restaurants. My husband and I loved this hotel....quaint, chic, picturesque, close to shops, restaurants, very nice neighborhood.....and the service at the hotel was excellent....very nice staff willing to help you with car rentals, sightseeing, restuarants......the only drawback was that the room was a bit small.....other than that, perfect. Breakfast is not included […] but for arond $8 you get a more than continental breakfast, rolls, muffins, tea, hot chocalate, fruit, yogurt, cheese .....love it and will return! Read more

The location is so-so good because there is cartier street near the auberge. But the room I stayed was a semi-underground room. So the scenery I can see through the window is tires of car. The room and bath room smelled bad. I couldn't relax. Therefore, I suppose the price is much higher than my satisfaction.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a B&B feel with your hotel. Excellent location around the corner from many restaurants and bars and 15 mins walking from the old part of town. The Positive: Staff! They are consistently attentive and empathetic. Hard to say whether this is a policy from management or simply the quality of the individual but I gave them the highest marks for making me feel important. The Negative: I'm the guy that likes spacious rooms, little amenities (like heat lamps in the bathroom , spa or pool, big T.V, bottle openers etc) sound proofing and room service. Fault and expectation is MINE not the Auberge's. I took a gamble hoping for the above based on cost and location - they did their job. When booking at this hotel, think of it as more of a B&B with very small rooms which include private bathrooms. Our room was so small, it was hard to squeeze by the wall to get into bed. An excellent place to stay as the art gallery and some outstanding park land is just across the road. Excellent choice of restaurants, cafes and bars just around the corner. Also within walking distances of central parts of the city.

Great little spot for an overnight stay. Not a huge room but well set up and modern, breakfast was good in the morning. Staff was very nice and extremely friendly. The area had some nice little shops and great restaurants we went to Graffiti just around the corner. If you are looking for a place for a getaway stay, I would certainly recommend it.

This reasonably priced Auberge was conveniently located 10 minutes from the gates to Old Quebec. The local neighbourhood had some great restaurants and was across from the Plains of Abraham. I stayed here for three nights while travelling solo. I knew from taking a peek at the website that it would be a small room, and it was, but it was also perfect. They're classy with the space they have and I was completely comfortable. The desk staff was awesome. They spoke English quite well and were very helpful. I was happy that I had chosen to […] eat two breakfasts with them at an extra cost of $8.49 each (if I remember correctly). Breakfast was continental: cereal, yogurt, fruit, cheese, fresh croissants, mini muffins, coffee and orange juice -- the kind of breakfast that makes you feel good after eating it. The location is just on the outskirts of all the action, which made for peaceful evenings and nights. The action starts less thank 1 km (2/3 mi) down the Grande Allee and is an easily walkable 2 km (1.2 mi) from Old Quebec. It's also right across the road from the Plains of Abraham and just south of some great bakeries on Rue Saint-Jean. Also very close is Rue Cartier with a number of nice shops, restaurants, pubs, and markets. I can't wait to visit Quebec again and I'll be staying here when I do. Read more

The room in this hotel was lovely. The lights were dimly lit when we arrived and the temperature was just right, so we felt relaxed as soon as we got here. It is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the local Via Rail station, cost about $12.00 CAD with the local cab driver giving us some great recommendations on the way there, which was very welcoming. […] The room was modern and a good size, we had a small sitting area as well as the bed area. The hot water took a bit to come through but as long as you can be patient with that, it was okay. The hotel is located very close to Old Quebec City, about 15 minutes walk away. The next street down from the hotel is Cartier St which has lots of restaurants to choose from and lots of great coffee shops and patisseries. The laundry was also located on this street. The area felt safe to walk in at night. The checkout time is 12pm. The hotel offers a continental breakfast (cereal, muffins/croissants, juice, coffee, toast, fruit, yoghurt) for $9.50 per person. They also have the internet available in the lobby with a printer in case, like us, you do not have your laptop with you. Read more

Vu que notre chambre était moins confortable pour y passer 2 jours, avec le bruit de la porte et des cuisines, ils ont prit la liberté de nous changer de chambre. Personnel très dynamique et compétent. Emplacement idéal autant pour les affaires que pour les touristes, près des restaurants , des bars( sans y être "trop" près non plus) et du vieux-Québec! Les chambres sont d'un grand confort, décorés avec gout et propres. J'ai très bien dormi dans une literie de qualité, moi qui a habituellement un sommeil léger […] hors de mon matelas de tous les jours . Parking payant très facilement accessible et sécuritaire, la proximité de l'auberge des principaux points d'intérêts à fait en sorte que ce stationnement fut le seul que j'ai payé de tout mon séjour.
