The hotel is fantastic with no doubt. Room is clean, very clean. The only one thing should be noticed is that you are not allowed to bring hot food into your room.

The first staff contact was very despective and negative. The staff better the attention in the follow hours. We only stay 1 night and looking for another hotel for stay the follow 3 days because we disagree the service.

The hotel was just what we wanted. Close to the motorway, clean, and quiet. They had us on a room in the front which was on the main road at first, but then they moved us to the back of the hotel which was nice. I wouldn't pay for wireless there....that is a scam for 10 pounds when I could have a nice meal at McDonalds just down the road and connect […] there. Good place though and way cheap with my coupon. First impressions last, not a very welcoming arrival. Eye contact and a smile cost nothing. Stayed in lots of hotels in the uk and have never had my photo ID photocopied, the explanation given when questioned was a very blunt "to stop fraud" How's that work, you now have my credit card details, name and address and my photo identity !!!! I have used this hotel two times. I was here last week on business for four days just like I have done this week. Last week I booked a double room as they were the only ones which were remaining at the time when I made my booking while this week I was in a single room. Double rooms are very clean, quiet, and have comfortable beds. The single room that […] I used had very dusty surfaces. It appears like not much heed is given to cleaning of the single rooms as much as double rooms are done. The bed in the single room had palpable spring surfaces on the mattress which made sleeping not that relaxing. Bathroom extractor fans are VERY loud. The person in the next room used to wake up about an hour before my planned time and when they put their bathroom light on I would be woken up by the sound of their bathroom fan – so frustrating. My advice to anyone who plans to come to this hotel is that book a double room if you can. Read more

Minus points - Holes in towels, TV remote had several buttons not working, Dusty room, exposed wires from ceiling, holes in walls, dirty kettle, sugar sachets gone hard with age. The whole hotel could do with a complete refurb. We won't be going back!

i have stay at this hotel on a few occasions when in birmingham and have always found it satisfactory . TIP if you want to sleep in after 7 mid week get a room on first floor as contractors that some times stay here mid week and often stand outside near bedroom windowsin courtyard on a morning for a smoke and a natter

We arrived on Saturday evening and were greeted by a friendly & efficient receptionist. We had requested a room in the original building, which we were given. An airy room, very clean & a reasonably comfortable bed. En-suite clean, modern, functional with plenty of hot water. We returned in the early hours, which was no problem. Although at the front […] of the hotel, on the first floor, we weren't disturbed by the traffic on the busy main road. We got up late the following day, vacating our room half an hour after check-out, another receptionist on duty, also extremely helpful & polite. Had an absolute ball, the staff were brilliant, couldn't fault them, what ever we asked for they delivered. They even phoned me within a hour of me leaving to tell me i had left something behind. Hotel was beautiful, the breakfast room and courtyard was a real treat for a inner city stay. Will definitely be staying again.

The location is not bad as there is a bus stop outside the hotel but its a good 15 minute walk into town. Otherwise the place is clean and tidy and the staff are attentive and accomodating. I had a meal there one vening and the food is value for money. They extended my saty with the minimum of fuss and arranged my taxi when I left.

Hotel is near to City Centre with free parking however, the hotel could do with a whole new makeover as very dated, and although relatively clean, was not that comfortable (sat on sofa in bar and almost fell through!). Sadly nothing palatial about this hotel at all. Bed was terrible, room was tiny and you're not permitted to bring drink or food into your room. It's approximately 2 miles to the city centre however but other hotels are also in area therefore seek out other options if possible.

No hot water on our first morning so cold showers all round. They have promised to get in touch about this but nothing heard to date. I suggested that they gave us complimentary breakfasts that morning but they declined. On our second night there was a prom so plenty of loud music etc. However, it did cease when they said just after 11 pm. After a six hour drive to get here, we were met with a sullen, unfriendly man to check us in. The room was rather shabby, blinds hanging off, knob to use shower wouldn't stay up.
