This hotel has decent amenities, and for the area the price is decent for what you get. Its an extended stay type property with a full size fridge and a stove etc... Nice beds and great assortment of channels on the TV. If you have to be in town for a while, I would recommend this hotel.

Everything about this hotel was great. If you're looking for a Marriott property, keep looking, but this property was clean and comfortable. When all you need is a place to lay your head for the night, it's the best bang for the buck.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times I got a good rate through hotel .com but I did book it late, after 9:00 p.m. so I don't know if the rates would be that good for an earlier reservation. Over all the hotel is great. If you are a non smoker and appreciate a clean air environment you will appreciate this hotel. If you are caught smoking in the building they WILL charge you a $100 fine and you do sign a paper acknowledging this at check in. The rooms are larger than an economy hotel I have stayed in in the past when I want an inexpensive stay. It is out of Wichita a very short distance, but the taxes are cheaper so the overall bill is cheaper. They had all of the amenities in the room that an expensive hotel I recently stayed in had, with perhaps the exception of a safe. The only negative was the broken lock on the door that allows you to crack open the door to see who was knocking. However the dead bolt did work so the room was secure. This is my new favorite hotel for inexpensive but nice stays.I plan on staying there a lot and I would highly recommend it.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. There weren't many things that I can say negative about the place. It was clean and the staff was helpful. My room was clean... and in order. I'm a neat freak about bathrooms, and honestly, hotel bathrooms bother me; however, the bathroom in my room was very clean. The breakfast was tolerable...nothing really to mention. The hotel advertises "continental breakfast" but it was really a couple of doughnut selections and chip beef on biscuits. Nice place for the money. Liked having a Chipotle, Spangles Hamburgers and a Walgreen's within walking distance. Plumbing was a bit noisy once, but that's nitpicking.

I stayed at Wesley inn for one nite and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and specially the bathroom. My experience has been quite bad with Inns, but Wesley was an exception.

The front desk clerk was very courteous and friendly upon my arrival at the Wesley Inn. Customer service was great. The lobby is small but comfortable. I made use of the free printing services - something I was not expecting the hotel to offer. My room was fairly large and perfectly clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker, microwave […] and micro-fridge available in my room. The free wi-fi was slow, but hey, it's free.The bathroom was clean; had plenty of hot water; and there was great water pressure in the shower. While other reviewers have stated the carpet throughout the hotel was outdated and dirty, I found it to be completely inoffensive. The breakfast was good, it's been a long time since I've indulged in biscuits and gravy. However, some fresh fruit would have been nice too. I do wish the in-room HVAC system's fan would not have cycled on and off with the air-conditioning compressor. Also, I found the bed to be a bit soft for my taste, but other reviewers here have stated that it was too hard. So that appears to be a matter of opinion, maybe depends on the room, or more obviously, the type of bed you're used to . Overall though a clean, quiet hotel; a great place stay and I would definitely stay here again. Read more

The stay was excellent. We had special needs which the staff quickly accommodated. The dining area allowed us to converse with other guests which added greatly to the experience. The housekeeping staff worked around our schedule. The rooms were decorated with period furniture, and there were aspects of the hotel that were clearly from its earliest days. I stay in Wichita several nights every year, and my budget doesn't usually allow me to consider 5-star hotels, though I did stay at the downtown Hyatt once because they made an Expedia offer I thought I couldn't refuse. Were I to get the same kind of offer again, I would choose the Wesley. That experience does, however, provide me with a 5-star Gold […] Standard to hold up against the Wesley Inn. The rooms at both hotels are equally comfortable, but I don't have to request a refrigerator at the Wesley; every room has one. Of course, I am going to want Internet access—who wouldn't?! The Wesley apparently fails the 5-star gold standard, as they do not have the nerve to upcharge customers for such a basic service. A hotel charging for Internet, is like charging a customer for towels... or a bar of soap. "Oh... you want to FLUSH the toilet? We'll just add that to your tab." LOL. There's plenty of parking at the Wesley. Granted, it is not 5-star covered parking, but then, they don't charge guests several dollars per night, in addition to your room rate, to park your car, either. Who visits Wichita without a car? Every Wesley employee I've encountered are 5-star. Room rates entitle guests to the basic free Continental breakfast, unlike that downtown 5-star "complimentary" breakfast that cost me nearly $10. If you want something more substantial, Panera Bread Co is next door, and there are several eating establishments, as well as a Walgreen pharmacy within a block of the front door. Read more

The check in clerk was very pleasant. Breakfast the next morning was your usual fare but the coffee was fresh and hot. The rest of the dining area was clean and pleasant.

I expect better than this for a 4+ reviewer rating. The hotel is clean, and I'm sure it was nice at one time. However, the decor is very 1990s--glowing hunter green carpet, burgundy and gold appointments. Low light. No dedicated HVAC control. Drippy sink. Overpriced. The carpet on the first floor is dirty and needs replacing. Overall the room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows need replacing. Breakfast consists only of carbohydrates.

The bed was the only problem with the stay. It was very soft and lumpy which did not make our stay as comfortable. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and a good location for the area.

No frills or fuss. Just a clean hotel with friendly service. There is a printer guests can use for free and a selection of DVDs guests can check-out for free. The price is very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a good hotel. The neighborhood was clean. It is off the main hotel strip and not a "chain" atmosphere. I will certainly use again.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and quiet. There are dvd's to borrow. Restraunts, a hosptial, a drug store, etc are within comfortable walking distance in a safe neighborhood. The Crowne Uptown Dinner Theatre is only two blocks away. It offers quality theatre and excellent food and service.

A very good place for the budget minded, or any traveler. Clean, quiet and very well maintained. There are the small details like nicked furniture and the occasional frayed area of carpet. These are minor quibbles in the overall cleanliness of the place. Excellent staff , safe location and large rooms make this a pleasant suprise.
