Ibis Rouen Champ de Mars - Rouen

This Ibis in Rouen is a newer hotel. Of course, the rooms are quite small. However, they are compact and efficient, with closet room and room to put your suitcases. I was amazed for such a small room, how efficient and comfortable it was. The $9 Euro breakfast was quite good--nice selection of breakfast foods and, of course, great coffee (all the coffee […] in France seems to be delicious). The tourist squares are a good 10-15 min walk away. The hotel has an underground parking lot which costs half a euro an hour, but seems to be the only option. Wifi was free and worked well. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel as I expected something more basic. We were a group of 8 travelling in a minibus. The hotel kindly let us park directly outside, free of charge. The hotel was very easy to find having travelled from Calais. We were able to park on the road outside the hotel which saved the half euro per hour underground car parking shared with the Mercure Hotel. We were very pleased with the hotel the receptionist was really helpful and spoke perfect English. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was an easy walk into Rouen which we also loved and was easy to find literally a minute from the the motoway. There was also ample parking in the underground carpark.

We planned a 2 night stay while passing through Rouen to head further in to France. The Ibis is in a great location for visiting this lovely city. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly. We never ate in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food etc. Ideal hotel, with parking (shared with the neighbouring hotel).

10-15 minutes walk from City Centre, if you're fit, Ibis Champ de Mars shares a site and car park with a fancier hotel, which has a restaurant that serves evenoing meals. The en-suite bathroom is dominated by a shower with a phenomenal floor area. Breakfast is ample with plenty of everything. Exit from underground car park is steep and opens directly on to the street, so sort out your sat nav later, when you find a parking space down the road. Stayed for a weekend at this hotel, first time in Rouen which was I must say so much better than I expected. If you have never been to Rouen, go now! Lovely quaint streets, squares, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a really nice vibe somewhere between lively and sophisticated. If you hav a car, go to see the cliffs at Etretat as well - lovely lovely little […] pebble beach and the vista there is just beautiful. I loved the whole trip, the hotel was not expensive but very clean, facilities were adequate and the service was friendly and efficient. Vi kom till hotellet endast för en övernattning. Kom sent för att lämna dagen efter. Hotellet helt ok för detta. Bra läge nära staden med en 24 timmars öppen där de fixade lite mat åt oss klockan ett på natten, mycket bra. Rummet standard men rent och snyggt.

Hôtel à proximité du quartier historique, chambre propre, personnel sympathique et efficace. Lit confortable et large. Le seul petit reproche qui pourrait être fait est la largeur de la couette qui du fait de la grande largeur du matelas est un peu courte et ne permet pas d'être couvert, à mon goût, suffisamment une fois installés dans le lit.

L'hotel è alle porte di Rouen e dista +o- 10min. a piedi dal centro storico. Le camere sono molto piccole e purtroppo non c'è la possibilità di fare un cambio d'aria xchè le finestre non si possono aprire, quindi c'era un po' di odore di chiuso misto fumo, anke se era una camera non fumatori. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e ospitale, alcuni parlano […] anke l'italiano. Per la macchina hanno parcheggio gratuito di fronte all'hotel, ma noi siamo arrivati la sera tardi e non c'era + posto, quindi abbiamo parcheggiato presso il garage a pagamento. Abbiamo trovato comodo il servizio di ristorante 24hsu24, (fanno degli snacks), visto che i ristoranti kiudono prestissimo abbiamo "cenato" con la quiche loren che non era male. Invece la colazione ci è sembrata un po' cara, abbiamo preferito farla altrove, in centro è pieno di boulangerie dove fanno delle cose buonissime!!! Diciamo che l'hotel va benissimo se vi dovete fermare per una notte, per soggiorni lunghi diventa un po' scomodo! Read more
